All was typical for most of my time browsing, sales rep says hello and introduces themselves and lets us know when we need assistance, all fine. When it came time to purchase and I had made my decision of which furniture to buy ($300 recliner, loveseat, and a chaise), I realized there was not a package deal for the loveseat and chaise in that particular style, only for the sofa and chaise ($999). If I were to purchase a la carte for the loveseat and chaise, they would have been $499 each ($998 total). I asked the sales representative, George if there was anything that could be done to create a package for the loveseat and chaise where I would not be paying the same price as the sofa (it didn't make much sense to me to pay the same price for approx 26in less couch). George and another associate said they probably wouldn't be able to get a package deal for it and all was as is, which is fine, I've worked in sales I know how it goes. They called manager Matteo over to see if something could be worked out. I want to first say, George and the other associate were great, friendly, and helpful and this review is not about them. Matteo, however, was the epitome of a sleezeball salesman in my opinion. While he confirmed there was not a way to create a new package, he gave me some ridiculous excuse for the price stating I was paying for craftsmanship and not material so the difference in size of the couch was a moot point. I disagreed and stated that I was going to shop around and see what else was available in the area. After saying this, Matteo proceeded to make the comment that I would come back to Bob's nonetheless because they have the best prices in the area. This struck me as very arrogant and condescending, and thus I DID take my business elsewhere and made a large purchase at a competitor. While there was nothing wrong with the product, I do not want to give my business to a business that speaks to their customers in such a way.

He would say that he had never heard of us, but then say that he had our order in the truck, but was going to be late. How did he know what our order was and where he was driving if he never heard of us? We ended up canceling as the flower arrival was going to be after the scheduled time of the sale. Mistakes and miscommunication happen but the way you handle them is what makes the difference. We do not recommend.

(OMG, im so good with yelpuns!) history. wife went looking for a new floor several months ago. she did her due diligence going to ANY flooring store in connecticut and landed on a few options, this seemed to be the most appropriate. seeing that we were on a budget, went to try their warehouse in hartford. getting in isnt easy, you need to make an appointment, but so it is sometimes. mike met us out there a couple days later and answered our questions, pretty hands off, but available should we ask anything (should have asked do you stand by your shitty product!) found something we liked, biggest concern was keeping it under 3 a sqft and loaded up the minivan (they did help us bring it out to the loading dock) and we loaded up out 700$ of new flooring and brought it back to the house. we unloaded, let it acclimate and then off to install, and curse, and lots of cursing!! the product kept breaking with little effort, after 8 (EIGHT!) boxes worth of attempts, we figured out this wasnt going to work. either the product snapped with install, or it popped apart if we could get a line done. finally after DAYS of effort down the crapper we knew this wasnt going to work and we needed an alternative. let me also put this in writing, this is a warehouse, its final sale. silly us as we assumed it wasnt going to be broken from the go, so in this case, i would have expected some sort of consideration, maybe just take back the unopened product, sure we were going to eat the 8 boxes of broken attempts, but at least its something back for money basically left to burn on the front lawn. ultimately we went with costco, yep, they sell flooring. Life Pro Tip, if you pick it up, its way cheaper then shipping (about $2.50 a sqft). after getting their product, the LVT snapped as it should, and off we went, took about 4 days non stop to get it installed, but 3 months later, still looks fantastic and better yet, we realized it wasnt our ability, it was Dalenes inferior product. well, as you would expect, we tried for MONTHS to get ahold of the GM, no returned calls or emails. i gotta tell ya, shocking considering how 'great' they were with follow up before they got our money. I even went into the manchester store and spoke with brian, he assured me someone was going to give me a call, only fair and respectful (his words) well, 3 weeks later, im still waiting and since they dont care, i figured i would share with the fine viewers of the internet. still looking for a flooring company? try costco! I am the Committee Chair for a convention next month, and one of the participation activities for the conventioneers will be assembling kits to donate to a Boston charity for children in need. We are set on the school supply side, but we are still a little short on the socks and underwear side for 50 boys and girls. So, when I saw a "15% off" email from Ollie's, it seemed like a divine sign to make a pilgrimage to the new Ollie's in Newington. And guess what we found? How about 5-packs of boy's underwear marked down to $2.99? BEFORE our 15% discount. Thank you, Lord Ollie. Ollie's was stocked to the gills and very neatly shelved. We bought this eclectic mix of goods: a big bag of Dot's pretzels, five boxes of K Cup coffees, a bottle of shampoo, a jar of pickled zucchini, a jar of salsa, and 20 of the aforementioned underwear 5-packs for just a shocking $88.
