First time here, but the good news is it's an easy review since they sell one food item, pizza, and I know a little about that :-) It's owners are Sunshine Ventures, which also owns Groovy Goat at OWA and several Florida restaurants, but Vinny's is it's only pizzeria. It's a nice big clean space with a pizzeria vibe, red checkered table covers, red padded seats at tables throughout, the pizza racks on the tables, you get it. You walk in, up to the counter, read the menu on the wall, order, pay, and make yourself comfortable while you wait in your pizza to be delivered to your table. They do have wine, canned beer, craft beer, and my favorite pizzeria option, draft beer and you can get a pitcher which pairs well with pizza :-) There's 2 sizes of pizza, 16" or their huge 24", plus you can opt for their giant slice. You can choose from 14 toppings or they do offer 3 specialty pies, the veggie, meat lovers and supreme. They also do have a house or Caesar salad for $8 but I did not try one. The beer was ice cold, reasonably priced, the pizza had a very good thin crust, toppings were fresh and cooked just right so the beer and pizza was spot on. Oh, as I was leaving I noticed that they do offer ice cream here too, ice cream is always good too. Could not wait to try this place. We did a call in order for pickup. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Got there at least 30 minutes later and the pizza was not done. We had to wait another 20 minutes or so on arrival. The pizza was the largest, 24inch. They gave me the option to slice it in 8 or 16 slices. I chose the 16 slices. The pizza was really good! As soon as you walk in the smell of fresh dough and hot pizza ovens cooking hits you. I ordered the original calzone with cheesy bread to share at the table. We also grabbed a slice of the absolutely massive pizza to share while we waited. The crust has a distinguished crunch to it with light seasoning and buttery coating with a soft interior. The cheese was fresh and crisped just enough to be cheeeesy but stationary on the pizza. Sitting outside was a nice change, and I could have even brought along my pups which would have been great! Okay gave it a shot, ordered the 27" and the girl ran to the back to talk to her manager, he came back and entered the next smaller size. I obliged thinking it might just be too big although they had to go boxes at the ready. As I sat there a prior customer was handed two boxes, one larger than the next, and the same manager was explaining something to him. Minutes later I was ushered to the counter with the same two sized boxes. The manager explained my large pizza was made too small and added a slice to it and offered to cook me another pie if I could wait. What I received was a decent tasting slice because of its sheer size and then a medium overcooked pie which was not close to being good. Over-cooked, burnt in spots and forgettable. I am not sure if the manager was pushing his smaller dough with a standard excuse or his cooks were just entirely inept. Sorry wont be back. read more

Don't be fooled by the name. This is not New York Style pizza. Not horrible and some people may like it... but the sauce was a peppery spaghetti sauce tasting mixture. The crust was meh and the cheese was definitely not top shelf. The worst part was the service. We had two orders at the table. The second order came first and the first order came about 45 minutes later. We asked the girl at the counter and she said oh it is in the oven. When the pizza never came we asked again and was told it was in the oven. Someone dropped the ticket on the floor or something. The pizza eventually came... no apology or anything.
