Great place, delicious food! I am not a big dumpling fan but their dumplings were amazing! We tried several things on their menu, went back twice. Great experience both times

Holy cow. This is legitimately the best food I've had in Europe on my current trip. I don't say this lightly either. I studied abroad in Paris for over 3 months and have been traveling around Italy and Germany for the remaining month with other countries sprinkled in. On this trip, I've been to 12 countries. I can confidently say this food was incredibly delicious and very unexpected. They have an English menu, the staff is friendly, and the place has a bustling atmosphere. I ordered the Crackling Duck Dumplings, which were phenomenal. They were so good, I would come back tomorrow and get more. I will definitely be coming to this restaurant again before I leave Prague. The duck inside is succulent and is bursting with flavor. For the main, I ordered the Pork Goulash. This was also very good. I wouldn't mind getting it again. The pork was extremely tender, falling apart at the slightest provocation of the fork, no knife necessary. The pork was excellent, the sauce was full of flavor and added a lot to the dish. I'm not even sure what the bread looking things are but with the sauce on them, they were divine. I think the duck dumplings were the star of the show though. I would rate this dish a 4.5/5, and the dumplings 5/5. Both were exceptional. Would definitely come back and offer them again. I would heartily recommend this restaurant to anyone in Prague. It's so good I'll be telling my friends about it. I already texted several to tell them how good the food was. I made this my first stop in Prague, hopefully the rest of the food lives up to the same quality and flavor.

The dumplings with braised beef. They come separately but I think they look better added to the beef dish.

Outstanding spot for delicious local cuisine. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. The prices are excellent as well. We had the tartare as well as some stuffed dumplings and braised beef (I think). Have a look at the ceiling design as well. Very cool!

Probably the best food we had in Prague! The veal dumplings were very dill-heavy which my husband absolutely loved! The bread dumplings were delicious and the meat was beyond tender. Service was efficient but not particularly warm. We were able to get an english menu and the waiter had excellent recommendations. The beer keeps flowing, but definitely recommend trying some of their lemonade too (which is more like a sparkling juice).

My second Czech Restaurant in Prague, and I was not disappointed. The ambience of the place was buzzing with a young clientele and the staff being very friendly and very attentive kept the beer coming. Food was nicely presented and more importantly tasteful as well ! I would definitely go back.

The beef dumplings with blueberries was a special and we loved it! Everything on the menu is wonderful and the staff is super nice and helpful!

This place is noisy. Staff is quick. Menu in English. The food is excellent!! The special of farmers chicken had crispy seasoned skin and moist chicken. The bacon chips were delicious. The small plates are not so small. Skip the beef in pastry...the escargot and beef cheeks were delicious. The cider was good. Did I mention this place is crazy noisy loud??!! Be careful, they are quick to remove unattended food and drink regardless if you are finished. The dessert of blueberry dumplings come in servings of two or four. Very rich and delicious. Two was enough to share with four people. Warm with a creme anglaise....excellent venue!

When two local people from Prague recommend a place, that means you must come here right? Came around 5 and was seated immediately. Very clean and modern decor. Since this was our first real dinner in Prague, we decided to go "all out". We each had 2 beers (delicious, frothy, and cold). For starters we had the trout, beef cheeks, as well as marinated pork. The beef cheeks were seasoned so well and tender! The trout was soft buttery heaven. For our main entree we decided to split some pork dish. It wasn't as great as our appetizers but we still finished it all. Dessert was awesome. We got strawberries that came with this fresh whipped cream like dipping sauce. As well as a rhubarb cake. Everything was delicious. The service was quick and attentive. Best of all? For all this food and drinks the tab was $40. I kid you not.

First dinner in Prague with couchsurfers. I've never had raw meat and just started eating meat and wow was I addicted to the beef tartar. I couldn't stop! It was so flavorful. Is this what I was missing out on for all these years? I loved that the bread was so thin and crunchy and the beef was so perfectly seasoned. I tried beef tartar elsewhere after this and no place compares. I was craving it so much after trying it from here. Everything else I had here was okay - fish, meat sandwich, bacon chips, and creme puff with meat sauce. As for interior, it's quite loud and there is a line. You'll be surrounded by Czech locals but they do have an English menu! You can split the bill on multiple cards and the restroom is clean.

Okay, okay so if I could have one last meal on Earth at one last restaurant, this is the place I would choose. I LOVE THIS PLACE so much. So much. I wanted to move to Prague just so I could eat here every other day. My cousin and I were in Praha for about 3 days and after we went here, we were like fuck it this is the best place ever and ate here 3 times in 2 days. Yeah, it's that amazing. If you stop in Praha and you aren't eating here you have should have some serious regrets...and I ask you to question all your past decisions up to this point. First things first, they have happy hour during lunch time. Lunch time. Where if you dine between 11am and 2pm you get bottomless refills of Cherry soda or free refills of beer (yeah, that's right!)...and oh my goodness, their cherry soda is the most amazing thing I ever drank. It is nothing like any other soda you've had (trust me, I've went to World Market after coming back to the states and bought all the cherry sodas they had just so I could experience it again). No, their cherry soda is just magical, it taste like they juiced some cherries and carbonated it. It's divine and I miss it every day. They also have real juices here in which they add carbonation to and it's just the best thing in the world. Try all of their juices if you come here, you won't regret it. Their beer list is huge and I'm sure you can find exactly what you're looking for in terms of getting properly hydrated. In terms of food, everything is so delicious. Their beef and dumplings are simply the best, their fish was cooked perfectly, every single dish was just out of this world. I apologize as I am writing this review 7 months after I ate here, so I don't remember the specifics of each meal. Plus, like everything in Prague it's so so affordable. All of our meals came out to less than $30-40 USD and we splurged and ate a shit ton of food. I don't regret any of it. I miss this place so much and think about it on a weekly basis. Oh and the employees are so nice, they work all day long. We came for lunch at 12pm and came for dinner at 11pm and it was the same people working, they are just the sweetest. On our last dinner there they brought us complimentary shots of something strong, because we told them we were so sad we couldn't eat there anymore. Not all of them speak English but they have a great English menu that you can use to point at, which I became a pro at doing. ;) All in all, I want to go back to Prague just so I can eat here.

This review is more than overdue. We are regulars there and have rarely ever had any less-than-superb experiences! The Parlament is great for lunch and even better in the evenings. They have specialised on the Czech cuisine, with and without twists. You won't find too many options as a vegetarian but that's not really their fault...it's a czech thing. As if the excellent food wasn't enough: The staff is super nice and friendly even when it's rush hour there during lunch time between 12AM and 1PM. Nuff said. One of THE great restaurants in terms of low-key (lunch) and almost-fancy-but-still-relaxed (dinner) options in Prague. We were bringing dozens of Germans there for the evening before our wedding and they all loved it so much I am not even sure if they remember anything else from that weekend...

I know many people adore this place, but to be honest I never really understood why. The food is average Czech food but there are better places to try Czech cuisine. In case you are vegetarian or gluten-intolerant, don't bother. For vegetarians there are only a few items on the menu and in the main dishes there are no gluten free options at the moment. The soup and goat cheese salad I've tried both contained too much vinegar, and were not a pleasant experience. The restaurant can easily fit several big groups and the service is still very fast which is impressive. But due to the crowds the restaurant tends to get very noisy as well and the decor is very dull. The best part of their selection are the few homemade lemonades offered.

I try to be objective here since we were forgotten by the waitress and therefore got our food almost 1.5h after we ordered. 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered were quite good (steak tartare and veal neck). The third dish (don't remember exactly the name of that steak) was terrible in every way. It felt like eating a shoe sole and the sides were drowned/soaked in grease. I would not say it was the worst as some people would quote dissatisfied but that unflavored full piece of meat killed it... Staff was ok except for the waitress I mentioned above who did not even admit here fault when I pointed out that the neighbor table who came way after us got the same dish we ordered before is... Just say sorry, we all make mistakes but it feels better for the customer with a simple sorry or an extra glass of wine we then had to order ourselves since we waited so long and finished the first round already... Conclusion is that for that price range you can ask for more...

It was my second visit to Prague so I was taking my time to see more than the "must see things." As I said, I stumbled onto the restaurant because I was taking in the park where artists were painting, people were reading and I pulled out my phone to use the Merlin app to identify birds that were singing. It was totally picturesque. But I wasn't hungry. So I regretfully moved on without eating there. Imagine the elation a few days later when someone in our group booked a dinner reservation for us at the same place I was regretting having missed! With a group of a dozen of us, I think someone ordered everything on the menu. We were all thrilled. We had appetizers , cocktails and entrees -- everything we had was great! The restaurant is family-owned and we were treated to the son being a primary server for our group. Now and then dad was part of the picture too and we enjoyed the added dynamic. I made a reservation a month in advance, but did not know I had to specifically request for tables outside on the river. When we arrived, only a few outdoor tables were taken, but was told the rest were reserved, so we were seated indoors instead. When we finished our dinner, the same few outdoor tables were occupied. I don't know why the restaurant couldn't just stagger the guests for the outdoor tables according to their reservation times.

I truly could live happily on toast, boiled potatoes, fruit, and Diet Coke. I'm also both a vegetarian and someone with a fairly limited palate, so I didn't think Field would be a hit for me. WOW was this an amazing experience! First: gorgeous space. Comfy tables, set far enough apart so we didn't feel crowded, and it didn't get loud. Beautiful artwork on the ceiling. Bright. Cheery. We loved it. We are visiting our son who lives a few hours south of Prague. My husband and son are fabulously adventurous eaters and they gifted me with this outing to Field, a Friday lunch reservation at 1:30 pm. Lunch seems the perfect time to come as the restaurant was not totally booked and we had so much attention from staff, including the front desk, wait staff, sommelier, and bartender. But I'm guessing dinner would be a blast, too. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Our lead waitress was Michaela, and she was the most polished and professional server I've ever met!! We felt so well cared for. In our 3 person party we had me: a vegetarian, and our son who has severe food allergies, to peanuts, pine nuts, and most nuts. 2 of the 3 don't drink any alcohol. Amazingly, it was not a problem at all. In fact, they were prepared!! There was a vegetarian prix fixe menu, with both a large and a smaller option, plus we could order the 'non-alcoholic' version of the wine pairings. So we did. My son had phoned ahead to inform them about his food allergies, and Michaela and the bartender confirmed them when we were seated. The staff was so welcoming and completely knowledgeable about ingredients. They did a fantastic job keeping my son safe, like bringing out his dessert first so it would come close to the 5 other pastries that included nuts. The bartender made him a special cocktail that was hazelnut-free. The 'pesto' was made with pumpkin seeds instead of pine nuts. The staff told us the ingredients of every single dish and cocktail!! And literally showed us! Our waitress brought over a tray that included things like snails, crawfish, and artichokes, and then she told us where they'd sourced them in Czechia! Except the crawfish, as we learned they are a protected animal in Czechia, so they are brought in from Germany. We loved that part, hearing where all of these beautiful ingredients came from. I'll include a few photos from both my vegetarian and their regular prix fixe adventures. The pea soup was my favorite! My son said the deer main dish was the 'best thing I've ever eaten, in my entire life'. I didn't take photos of the non-alcoholic cocktails, but those were lovely. Especially a super fun foamy pomegranate one!
