I can't find a way to add any more stars, "Great" seems so minimal for this shop. This is the ONLY on or off-island store that offers free delivery to Shelter Island. If I stop in, the staff is always welcoming and eager to lug a case or two out to my car. Grocery store typically charge a $10 delivery fee if they deliver to the island at all, and there aren't many who do! The staff, selection, and prices are wonderful! I love to shop by price range as that, unfortunately, is necessary but made so pleasant by you folks! read more

Great wine and Spirits store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the selection of wines they carry. They have a nice selection of wines that you do not typically see at other shops. First of all, you cannot beat their prices on the North Fork. Secondly, it seems like anything you can imagine wanting, they HAVE IT. But most importantly, their staff is TOP-NOTCH. My son lived in Dallas for a year and became a Bourbon fan. He loves a brand called Blanton's. Very hard to get. This very very very nice girl (I wish I could remember her name) told me where I could find it because it's very hard to get and they were sold out. So, I went on the Vintage Mattituck waiting list, and Brian, who is super-nice called me 2 months later and said it was in, and I paid for it over the phone, and picked it up the next time I was at my beach house. They really take care of their customers. I just love this store. read more

The best liquor store on the North Fork! They have a good selection of local wines, as well as wines from all over. Their prices are great! They also have a club you can join if you're a local, which gives you even better prices. They deliver, the staff is super helpful, and they also have plenty of liquor options. The owners are very knowledgable, are genuinely happy to help, and can make excellent recommendations for pairing wines with any food. And they make them taking your budget into account. I especially like the way the bottles are organized on the shelves; you simply find the type of wine you're interested in and then they are grouped according to price, which helps cut down on the confusion. They carry many great wines that are less than $12. It's not often that I recommend a shop but this one is exceptional. read more
