I have used this store many times. 50% of there discs don't work. They do not check them. They do not repair them. I have returned discs that do not work and I have seen them wrap them up and put them on the shelf. During a buy two get 1 free sale, 2 of my movies did not work. Both movies were damaged, but one in particular looked as if someone took a razor blade to it. This should not have been sold to me. I'm tired of having to make two trips every time I buy a disc. I am very much considering using the local half price book store over here. Stinks because this is a cool idea for a store, but they need to be checking the discs that they sell. *Update* I still shop here frequently because their selection can't be beat compared to anywhere in town. Recently the store has been excellent. All issues I've had as far as discs not working, they have allowed returns. Once they even let me trade a used disc for a new one. Some things are a little over priced, BUT sometimes you find items below regular price. It's one of my favorite stores. read more

Good selection of new and used DVD's, Blu-Ray, VHS, Video Games, Consoles, CD's, & Vinyl. Prices comparable to Amazon.com. Good place to sell old movies or exchange then for new ones. I try to come in here at least once a month because they do a pretty good job of rotating out the selection. read more

The Movie Trading Company does have a lot of hard to find movies, but the prices are outrageous. Used copies with prices as much as brand new ones at Walmart. I like the fact you can trade in movies, but I'll just go to a pawn shop and trade them in, you get a much better deal. Save this place for dvds you can't find elsewhere... read more

Let me start off by saying that I am a DVD and rare film junkie. These guys always have what I'm looking for at reasonable prices. I can't count how many times I've bought a rare film from them for under $7. If they don't have what you want in stock they'll special order it for you. These prices can't be beat. Also I should point out that the staff is very knowledgeable when it comes to video games and films. I like chatting them up and getting recommendations from them. Good selection of games and movies. I mostly went for the mystery box Magic the gathering. They used to be good with a good distribution of new and old cards, rares and commons and foils. However the last couple boxes I've bought have not been random at all, and all in all only yielded about $4 in cards if that. I understand it's a mystery box and I might not get my $20 back on it but honestly, in a 500 card box (even though half of them were only half full, not the "over 500 cards" advertised), getting over 50 copies of one card is a little ridiculous. Will likely not be back unless they shape up that system, I can just as easily get my movies from amazon and my grab boxes of cards from Ebay for better prices. read more
