Old, obsolete video game systems, DVDs, video game cartridges and discs, equipment repair... and skateboards? It's been so long since I've seen games for sale for the Atari 2600 that I had thought I had the only one left. Yet they have some on hand for sale. And it's staffed with guys who actually know of AND remember the hard corps, 'old school' systems that got us where video games are today. They have prices comparable to GameStop; not that it matters all that much since Cleburne's GameStop has ceased to carry GameBoy games, and will soon stop carrying and trading GameCube games, as well. They carry them for X-boxes, various Playstations, lots of Nintendo systems. Prices for used GameBoys seem to range from $20-60 depending on the rarity of the system wanted. And they take trade-ins on games, systems and movies. I'm definitely going to continue to spread the word about this place in order to keep a good little local 'mom and pop' operation running. :) ------------------------------ (update March 04, 2012) Purchased an old used Game Boy cartridge and a GameCube disc. Game Boy cart needed a little cleaning to get it to work with my GameCube Game Boy Player. Game works great! The GameCube game disc was scratchy and wouldn't play in my GameCube. Upon returning it to the store, the sales associate tossed it into the disc refinishing machine for free. The game works perfectly, now. :) ------------------------------ Games & Movies Traders has moved from next to Whataburger on West Henderson to it's new location next to the Cinema 6 on West Henderson in Cleburne, Texas. They also no longer sell movies so I guess it's just "Games," now. :)

Lazy employee in an empty store with their head in their phone is the only logical guess here. I don't appreciate it. Now I will drive 30 minutes into town and waste the gas just to go answer the questions I had for myself in person, when that is the entire purpose of the phone-- as I don't even know if they have what I need. Ridiculous. Finally got a "busy line" tone after the 12th call. So they can answer someone else's call but not mine. The rest of the calls go on to ring fully. I will call 20 more times just to annoy them with the ringtone.

The boyfriend bought a 5 disc DVD set, for less than $25, and rentals are $3 or less. The staff is very nice, and if they don't have what you're looking for, they will purchase it. Support small business, rent here. You get to take them home for 3 nights, which isn't bad.
