From the moment that I called their salon I knew I had arrived at the right place. I explained over the phone my desired cut. I am a man with rather stubborn hair and was looking for something in particular. The young lady with whom I was speaking immediately told me that Sydney would be the best for me. This shows great integrity as she could've easily booked me into her own schedule. After making the appointment a text message was sent to my phone to confirm my appointment time and serve as a reminder. Then the next day Sydney was kind enough to text me that she was running slightly late and rescheduled me at the appropriate time so that she could be punctual. She did this early enough that I can plan my day accordingly. Thank you Sydney for being considerate! The experience continued to even further exceed my expectations when I arrived at the salon. Everyone was kind and friendly and the atmosphere was quaint and not rushed. Sydney was careful to listen to what I was looking for and delivered an excellent cut as a result. After cutting my hair she shampooed and conditioned to remove all the little cut hairs that can be so irritating throughout the rest of the day if left alone. After a quick attempt at styling my appointment was over. I have not had anyone take such time and care during a haircut for years. Almost 1 year ago I was in desperate need of a salon to cut my hair. You see, hubby was a medical traveler so we moved every 13 weeks and I was never able to find a beautician that I could go back to more than once. I got a recommendation for vintage Salon from one of my husband's co-workers. I would have never thought that I could have gotten such Top Notch service from a salon that I wasn't a regular client. Well let me tell you it's almost a year later and I'm still coming back to the same salon and as an older woman with red hair that had never fully colored her hair that's saying something. Every single appointment has been fabulous Georgia is a master at what she does. From the very first visit she was very thorough and asking what I wanted and what my expectations were. I am pleased to say that all I had to do was tell her my general style preference and she took it from there. Ashley is amazing! I've trusted her with my hair for about three years. Each time, she handles my ultra thick hair with ease. Her coloring skills are definitely top notch! I think my two favorite things about Ashley are 1- her ability to honestly communicate . I always come in with a picture of what I want my hair to look like. Generally it's super blonde and thin. I appreciate that she takes the time to chat about different options to get me as close to that picture as possible while keeping in mind the thickness of my hair and the upkeep required for super blonde hair. 2- I love hearing her talk about the latest class she attended. She is continually keeping herself up to date on the latest trends and techniques. It shows how committed she is to the industry and providing her clients with the best service possible. Sydney does an amazing job. I went in to have my hair highlighted. I had an event to go to that evening. Everyone that I knew at the event said my hair was gorgeous! Just today I an into one of my daughter's friends. He told me I looked great. He said it looks like I've been spending some time out in the sun. He said my hair looked lighter. I said thanks, I but I bought my hair color. He told me again that I looked great and I looked younger. I will continue to go to Sydney. Her prices are very reasonable. She charged me less than anyone else I've ever go to and looked better and more natural. I live in Pendleton OR. It is totally worth the hour plus drive one way. With Sydney I can afford the upkeep on it. Now my only problem is finding time that fits both of our schedules. I highly recommend Sydney. I've been seeing Ashley for several years, she's always been fun and flexible and forgiving of my schedule! She listens to my concerns and ideas and helps me get exactly what I'm envisioning. I knew I'd be in great hands on my wedding day ~ Ashley was supportive and calming, she brought me my favorite coffee and arrived early, she got along with all of my family and did a beautiful job on my mother's hair as well. She took the time to show my sisters how to deal with my veil after the ceremony and how to fix any issues that may arise. She made my wedding morning quite effortless! I was in dire need of a haircut, but was reluctant to get it done anywhere in Richland after a few poor experiences. On a whim, I searched online for a place with decent reviews and by chance happened upon Vintage Hair Boutique. Not long after, I set an appointment and was penciled in for later that same day. I am definitely returning for future hair appointments! The service was excellent. I was greeted immediately and offered a seat and refreshments until the time of my appointment. The staff were all super friendly and the environment was very warm and welcoming. My hair stylist, Georgia was both courteous and accommodating. Throughout the appointment, we conversed and she offered much needed advice regarding my hair. Her expertise and amicable demeanor was sublime. I couldn't recommend this place enough. :) read more

This place has a great atmosphere! Natasha is my preferred stylist. I'm all over the place when it comes to what I want done with my hair but each and every time I've come in there and told Natasha what I want, she delivers! Colors, color corrections (attempted a box dye for fun..oops), balayage, highlights, lowlights, trimmed, layers, lobs, curly or straight styles and a variety of colors from funky to professional. I like to change up my hair every few months and I have yet to even feel a hint of disappointment in the outcome. I love love love what she does with my hair! She is very warm, kind and caring to her clients. This review is for lash extensions with Sydney. I've never had lash extension done before and I was skeptical of having them done in Tri-Cities versus in a bigger metropolis area. But the price was affordable and based on the positive Yelp reviews from the salon itself, I decided to give it a go. I love online bookings and I appreciated how Sydney contacted me to let me know she was running a little late (I was running late too so it worked out perfectly). Btw, her lash studio is not at the salon but upstairs on the second floor. Sydney was super sweet and answered all my questions about the extensions. I love the gals at Vintage Salon, they are so friendly, welcoming and they made me feel right at home from the minute that I booked my appointment. I had a hair emergency. After being very unhappy with a color job that I got at another salon, I felt desperate and colored my own hair, which made things even worse! I have been looking for a good stylist in the tri cities for years, and tried Melanie at Vintage Hair Boutique. She not only gave me a great cut, but she thinned my rather thick hair the best I've ever had so it actually sits in the style the way it's supposed to. The cherry on the cake was the color and highlight she did. I wanted my color lightened and natural for spring and she accomplished it. It is the prettiest brown and caramel for the season! Had my hair cut yesterday evening after 3 years! I have very curly hair and major trust issues when it comes to letting someone cut my hair. I met with Tara and she was amazing! We talked about my hair, what I wanted it to do and look like. Tara LISTENED to everything and then began cutting. It was such a relief, she cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. i have been wanting to have my eyebrows microbladed for some time, but didn't know who to trust. Sydney Swaggart did my brows and they turned out great. She was upfront about the procedure and explained everything before hand. There was some pain, but she was really good about pausing if I needed a break. She did not charge me extra for my touch up, which a lot of people do. She even checked up on me about a month later to make sure I was still liking them. I will definitely go back when and if they start to fade. She said they could last up to 3 years depending on skin type and care. read more

Best salon in Tri-cities! Always accommodating and has the best advice and suggestions. I go to Julie every time, she is great with color and bleach which is really hard to find. First time I was there I showed her a picture of what I eventually wanted, thinking it would be a long process, but she was like "I can totally do that now", and she did. Sydney Swaggart is amazing! She completely change my look and made me feel the most beautiful! She was able to take my dark black hair and make it blonde without damaging it! This of course was a process, but with patience from both of us, she was able to work some magic! I've also had my eyebrows micro bladed by her - she took my thin, dull and and un-even brows and gave me full, beautiful brows that accentuate the shape of my face!
