What a not so hidden, hidden gem! Just 5 minutes up the road from us, I am ashamed to have passed by on countless occasions. While unsuspecting from Germantown Pike, this winery/vineyard has an expansive space for events and regular traffic. There is an inviting porch area that overlooks the vines and on the weekends there is live music. There is also an indoor space to hide from the elements or just lay low which is what we had opted for. Everyone we encountered who worked here was so welcoming and pleasant. Both of us got a wine flight making sure to try an assortment of drys, reds, whites, and sweet wines. While I generally lean into sweeter wines, every glass we tasted was enjoyable! We also gave the bubbly flight a try which was also delicious. They do have a full kitchen and we heard raves about the flatbreads and appetizers from the next table over. They even have a calendar of events including workshops, musicians, etc. to stop in and enjoy. Definitely looking forward to our next visit. read more

Sooo a friend of mine who frequents Evansburg winery suggested we meet up. As I was driving, I'm looking for rolls hills and greenery. I drove past the sign at first. Turned into the parking lot walla. Cute little winery in the neighborhood. The service was awesome. Our servicers were on point and the food was freaking amazing. What a great and tasty menu, everything was fresh and the wine choices were very good. The vineyard is tucked back off the road. The Evansburg Vineyards was chosen for its intimate setting to host my milestone birthday celebration. Beautiful Dining experience at the Bistro Overlooking the vineyards. I sampled the Bubbly Sampler, and my guests sampled their chosen wine flights. We all enjoyed a light bite of charcuterie and a salad, and finished with cheesecake for dessert. The food was amazing! Had a Bistro Salad with chicken, fresh and yummy rub on the chicken. The Brussels sprouts were next level, maybe the best anywhere. Also shared a stuffed peppers and they were very good too. The atmosphere was nice, put the patio in "good weather" looks like it'll be great. Service was good, friendly but not intrusive. When it first opened the winery was great you could bring your whole family sit outside and have a glass of wine. Now all of a sudden it's a restaurant and we are trying to be too upscale and ask if you have a reservation when you go at 3pm when no one is there. I am so happy to have found Evansburg Vineyards. This winery is such a hidden gem. My first impression, the space was nicely done and the staff, beyond friendly. We were sat outside and given the rundown of the menu, the estate grown grapes, etc. (Some grapes are imported). We initially ordered a flight which was the perfect way to sample their delicious wines. We ended up ordering a bottle of white, the Dream 2022 (their estate grown chardonel), a cheese plate and a pizza. The grounds were spacious with an array of shaded seating. The pizza was actually out of this world. I didn't expect much for a winery pizza but it was absolutely delicious, perfect after a couple glasses of wine. Charming little winery with a nice piece of property and plenty of outdoor seating. Came on a very nice Saturday afternoon and enjoyed our stay. Wines were pretty good, nothing amazing or stand out but certainly not bad. We are true wine drinkers, so we hate the flight concept where they sit you down and put a bunch of wine in front of you and let you read off a paper. Minimal interaction with staff. We would much prefer a traditional tasting where there is interaction, explanation and discussion about the wine, grapes, region etc. One star knocked off because of that. We definitely would have spent more money here if this was more of a traditional setup. read more

This is a lovely venue I discovered for my friends birthday celebration. There are a variety of wines to taste outside or inside. The charcuterie boards were nicely paired with each wine and the staff was just awesome. It was early September and the view of the vineyard from inside was lovely. Absolutely loved this place. Went here for a 50th birthday party and had a blast. The environment is great and the the extra pole barn buildings in the back is where the party was and it accommodated the event guests nicely. The opened garage door feature made the space look huge. My family took me to Evansburg Vineyards today to celebrate my birthday. 7 adults and 3 young children had a wonderful time. We started with a pitcher of mimosas and beers, then had some wine flights with the buffet that was set up for the vineyard's 4th anniversary. The food was wonderful and we bought some bottles of wine that were our favorites to take home. The service was outstanding... they took very good care of us. Found this place on a Sunday afternoon after spending the morning at the outlets. Tucked away vineyard with seating at the patio, on the deck, inside, as well as out in the yard. Easily was able to get a table on the lawn as it was still a nice day out with the sun coming down. Decided on the Wine Flight ($9) - four 1.5 oz pours of their solid variety of wine options. Regarding the four I had: Vibrant 2020 - a strong dry white that's easy to sip on Marquette Rose 2020 - tart rose, fruity finish Inspiration 2020 - red blend that's the best of the bunch, strong Bordeaux Passion 2020 - another strong red that doesn't pack as big of a punch, easy to finish They offer food here as well, but we were fine with the complimentary crackers. Please note. This is not a winery anymore, it is a restaurant. You are not allowed to just visit, buy a bottle of wine and sit and relax. You need a reservation. The owner has decided to limit his business. We were with him from his beginning and he used to be nice but we were refused entry today due to lack of "reservation". I have been to wineries all over the world and never had this experience. Embarrassing and a disgrace to what true wineries are. Shame on you! read more

I've been going to Evansburg Vineyards since the day they opened. As a wine lover and this being 3 miles from my home, I was kind of hoping it wouldn't love it so much. But...I do. From the friendly staff to the variety of wines to the food trucks, it's truly great. I'm a big fan of reds, so their Passion wine is amazing. But you can't go wrong with Nostalgia, Temptation, and Bliss. If you like a dry white, their steel-aged chardonnay is wonderful, along with their rose. In the summer, they also do a froze. I'm not a sweet wine person, but friends of mine really enjoy the pom or blueberry wine. They truly hit all wine palettes. They also have a small selection of local beers, which my husband appreciates. The outdoor seating is wonderful, and they have recently added a couple of pavilions for events or if the weather isn't the best. They also have food trucks and live music on select days. Went here on a Saturday afternoon with my dog. Driving to this place you wouldn't think it's a winery because it's in a neighborhood. If you're looking for a winery with a pretty exterior, then this isn't the place. It felt like sitting in someone's backyard because the view is other peoples backyards. Other than that, I thought the wine was very good. They have a few different sweet wines and my favorites were Radiance and Pom. They also have a pretty tasty frozen sangria! They offer a limited food menu plus you can bring outside food so I like how they give you both options. I ordered a cheese pizza and honestly, it tasted like one of those mediocre frozen pizzas. It was also slightly cold. They had live music and the singer was fantastic! Hopefully, they hire musicians as talented as he was every weekend. Overall, the wine was really good but I didn't feel like I was at a winery. If you're in the area, I'd definitely check this place out just to try the wines. Bring your own food though. read more

We stopped as a side trip on the way home. The Staff and owners were very nice. It was a decent locale and setup nice with its interior fresh and new. There was a great acoustic artist playing outside for all the ages. For the wines there was a decent variety from sweet to dry with whites and reds. We did a tasting which was nice. Some of the wines had a great taste but lacked the aroma I like. There was a nice drier red we settled on to share We ordered a smoked cheese pizza which seemed to be frozen and no taste of cheese smokiness. I am rating this average in which they need time to mature and grow. They aren't bad but aren't spectacular. They have room for improvement and well on their way. We will stop again! read more

We stopped here after the Elmwood Park Zoo on a 95+ degree day and were excited for wine and pizza. There were no seats indoors so the staff accommodated us by moving tables into their back room. They were prompt and attentive. The pizza was good as was the wine. The wine slushies were both awesome! However the 5 star rating is really for feeling like valued customers and for having staff who wanted to be sure we had a great experience.
