Put down drop cloths, vacuumed and left barely any traces of any mess. Let's face it, if you get insulation it is MESSY. You can't expect absolute perfection but from watching the guys work and how messy and dirty it got, I am absolutely surprised at the care they took to clean up afterward. What was nice was that the guys were talkative in giving advice and tips and feedback for insulating and making my home more efficient. They explained the material they used, why they were doing what they did. The lead guy even called the RISE engineer over to question the plan in one of the areas of my house; and the RISE engineer agree to modify per the insulator's advice. I was concerned because my home was a stucco finish and many of the Siding companies I'd contacted either didn't know how to do the job or gave me a very high estimate. Fortunately Mike had experience with siding stucco and his quote was reasonable so I hired him. His crew showed up when he said they would and got right to work. They ran into some problems with the stucco and it cost them some lengthy delays. But he communicated well with me and he stood by his original estimate which I really appreciated.
