We found the theater to be very clean and the new reclining seats...so comfortable. The staff is helpful and very nice!

Cannot believe the experience. I've been to several movie cinemas. This is the first I have been to that has waited 20 minutes (after the predicted showtime) to show the movie. Even after multiple of the customers told the employee that the movie needed to be started, they only turned on audio and we sat in a dark room with just audio. Meh, this movie theatre has gone down hill A LOT in the years it's been open. The women's bathroom stalls are so tiny even though there's room to make them bigger and not be crushed when you shut the stall door? Toilet seats missing paint, wallpaper falling off the walls. Theaters have ceiling tiles FALLING from water damaged? Multiple seats are broken, good luck finding a spot for 2+ people as SO MANY seats are other broken, falling apart, or have uncomfy damaged padding. We paid $36 for 2 military adults, large popcorn & drink and m&ms. The food was good! However, Back home we'd pay $45/50 for the same experience with reclining seats and a facility that's actually maintained. I wouldn't recommend this theatre as it's dangerous for young kids and elderly, I would not bring my kids or parents here due to the lack of maintenance. read more

A complete waste of money. Their sign on the road is the joke of the county. No name, no movies listed, even the phone number is messed up. I can not drink soda. Physical disability against it. So I ask for a sweet tea. They do not have any. They DO have a small plastic bottle you can buy. Same size little bottle they have at the has station for $2.45. These crooks wanted 5.25 for! Go to Ingles and buy a gallon jug, sell THAT in a cop. The jug is $3. Popcorn was stale and tasteless. The theatre room #6 was a disgusting mess, and the stair lights on the floor were so bright that I could see my shadow on the far wall. WHILE THE MOVE WAS SHOWING!!!! Give it up folks. Nasty 6 years ago, nasty 3 years ago, still nasty last weekend. Maybe someday we will get a theater run by folks who care. read more

4/22/25 We have supported this theater since it first opened, often going twice a week. NOW...We have greatly limited our attendance at this theater if the movie we wish to see is being shown in theater #4 or #6. The projectors have degraded significantly and the movies are dark/seem like they were shot during an eclipse. Even what would normally be a bright, sunny scene out in the open is darkish and in shadows....lots of lost detail. We call ahead to check on which theater our desired movie is in. If #4 or #6....we go somewhere else. Very un-enjoyable experience. This has been going on for the past two years. Seems the owners do not wish to repair anything to save money. read more

They had just remodeled so everything was new and clean! Friendly service! The staff was very attentive.

This was the first time I've visited this theater since it changed ownership. The last time we went there was probably 4 years ago. Back then it was very nice, and the prices were fair. The property has clearly not been maintained. The sound was horrible, the seating was uncomfortable and the bathrooms were pretty sketchy. The prices have gone up a good bit - $8 each for senior matinee pricing and the concessions pricing was rediculous. $6+ for a kisd combo consisiting of a small tray of popcorn, a small drink and a pack of Welches Fruit Snacks. The cost of goods in that was maybe $1.50. Ruby Cinemas in Franklin is cleaner, more up-to-date, and less expensive. We won't go back to Fieldstone and recommend others stay away. read more

They won't turn the overhead lights off in the theatre while the film is playing. They claim it is a safety issue. The facility is run down and they clearly don't care about displaying the filmmakers hard work the way it is intended to be seen. Terrible viewing experience. Don't go here. read more

Awesome staff, very helpful, and super friendly, the food is delicious, the pretzel with cheese is my favorite. The bathrooms are very clean, smell not like a bathroom at all and the seats in all of the theaters I've been in so far are wonderful, 10/10. read more

We have had multiple bad experiences at this theater. 1) movie wouldn't play and had to watch a different movie, 2) movie playing with no sound for the first 30 minutes, 3) wrong time posted online for movie show time, and most recently 4) Theatre not showing any movies for the day even though times posted online, which messed up a family planned event. They should have spent more focus on getting there order of operations, movie equipment, and restrooms fixed before they spent the money installing new seats. Until those issues are repaired, I am sure those new seats will remain empty. read more

I went to a movie yesterday and ordered popcorn and a Dr. Pepper. While waiting for the movie to begin I tried to eat the popcorn but it was burnt and I couldn't eat it. I took it back up to get another bag and the same thing. Burnt. I couldn't even stand to have the bag next to me. So I'm out that money. THEN the sound system was so messed up I could barely hear the movie dialog above the music soundtrack. Serious adjustments need to be made and attention paid to everything! So I'm out $16 and 3 hours. I wanted to call and discuss it with someone but you know how that goes. BTW I was the ONLY customer in the whole place. read more

This is a jewel in a small town. We went there for a Sunday night date and found great prices. As the name indicates they had six features which were all the latest releases. The young woman and man who waited on us gave us super service. Both were happy to see us and we had some great conversation with them about our movie choice. The theater was spacious and immaculate. No sticky floors here! The chairs were comfy!! The volume was great. No discomfort here! The restrooms were also really clean, well lit and stocked. We passed this on to our friends who are letting us stay at their house. We'll be back for a double date!! read more

WARNING: Theater smells of mold. A/C is broken. Extremely hot. Small screens. Cold popcorn at 7pm. The chairs come to halfway up your back. Bad experience all around. They've had floor fans blowing around for over a year. Never had a hot theater or cold popcorn experience at a theater. Go somewhere else!! read more

A full price adult movie ticket is $7. A combo with a medium popcorn and two small drinks are $6. Total cost for two to see a first run movie with refreshments? Well, not priceless, but for $20 this little theater in the mountains sure has anything in Atlanta beat. Given that it's in a pretty small town (and a college town at that) this place fills up pretty fast, so I would suggest getting there 10 minutes before your movie starts to make sure you have good seats. I liked that they had two concession stands in the lobby, one with the "full" menu, the other just with candy, drinks, and popcorn for those who just need the basics to enjoy their film. It's in the same building as a small arcade, so there's plenty to do before your movie starts, and the view of the lake is beautiful as well. read more

We have visited Feildstone Cinemas about once a week ever since its opening day. The employees are never very friendly but the theater itself is so nice we tend to over look the unfriendliness. From popcorn, candy, hotdogs and pizza they have just about anything your craving. The size of the theater doesn't bother us once the movie starts. During the week there aren't many people watching a movie. Sometimes we find we are the only two. read more

This is a solid theater. The tickets are much cheaper than around Atlanta, so I usually stop by when I find myself in Hiawassee. They give matinee, student and senior discounts off the regular $7 price so you have plenty of opportunities to catch a movie here really inexpensively. It's relatively new and well upkept. I would only have two complaints. The sound is sub-par. It's not much better than watching a movie at home. Also the theaters are tiny. There is one huge theater, but if you are watching a film in anything other than theater one you will be in a very small room. Definitely worth stopping by if the weather ruins your lake plans. read more

The popcorn tasted stale and the theater is outdated and needs updates. The floor was sticky and nothing was cleaned up from previous guests. The used condom wrapper on the floor gave it an extra special touch. read more

It is a decent theatre. I dislike going there if I can help it . They do a pretty bad job adjusting the movies to fit the screen. Very noticeable on Deadpool today. read more

Great little spot. They are always out of iced tea but other than that it's a nice little theatre. 1 other thing is the coin operated games in the lobby are absolutely ridiculously priced. If they were regular arcade rates people would actually use them. read more
