I don't even know where to being as to why this is the worst gym and the most ridiculous place I have ever come across! I wanted to do this bc I struggle with weight and when I had my meeting with them it was in a gross office sketchy room with some other people and it was super expensive by the way I'm taking over 600 bucks. When I was in the meeting they gave me pretty much no option to say no bc it was like a now or never situation for it. He made it seem that they only take people who are really serious about it and we don't want people who won't finish the goal and it was a bunch of bullshit and he pretty much gave u no option to think about it and that is how they get you! He pressured you into Paying then and there even tho it was just supposed to be a meeting then u go to the first day of the challenge where they manipulate you into thinking something totally different when it was all These stupid rude and regulations I never even heard of or was told about in the initial meeting and it was just the worst that if u didn't do this and this and this u can't get ur money back ITS ALL A SCAM THE REASON WHY U SEE NO BAD REVIEWS REALLY WAS BECAUSE THEY FORCES US TO TAG THEM AND POST ABOUT THEM EVERYDAY ON FACEBOOK WHICH THEY NEVER SAID WE HAD TO DO BEFORE SO I HAD TO MAKE A FACEBOOK and if I didn't have 20 followers then I would not get my money back and also the food don't get me started on the tiny amount of food it was insane i was throwing up everyday dizzy and o felt so sick like I could not even believe how bad the food reallt was it was shocking and how much I had to buy to do this it was all so expensive and the gym was shit and gross and ugly the trainers are mostly all mean and what crossed the line for me was when I was really out of breath I stepped aside to get a drink of water and so did another girl and he shouted and called both of us out in front of everyone and said IF I DIDNT TELL U TO GET A DRINK OF WATER THEN DONT GET A DRINK OF WATER and I could not believe I was being talked To like that like who the fuck are you to tell me I can not have a drink of water they talked to us like garbage and humiliated us when they made us step on the scale or have a meeting with them every Thursday it was insane like this place is the absolute worst and words seriously can not describe how bad it was I'm not kidding and not even mentioning on the first day how they forced everybody to buy this expensive ass protein shake which they never said we had to have they tricked us again and forced everyone to buy it and it is all a scam on Facebook to get people to give them an insane amount of money this gym is gross gross gross and ruan read more

I just love this place and all the people that work and train there. They have helped me take control of life. Since I joined in November of 2014, I have lost 45 lbs, and am still going. Trust me when I say, this is the best place to be. I have tried other gyms, the crash diets, the weight loss gimmicks and pills, and I have even ordered videos and supplements from infomercials with no success. VIP gives each person that walks through that door the VIP treatment. They know you, your story, your goals and they want to see you succeed. I have never once been screamed or yelled at, or even heard them raise their voices for that matter. If you can't do an exercise, they help you figure out one that you can do. They also are very good at demonstrating any exercise that you are unfamiliar with or forgot how to do the technique. VIP sets you up for success by teaching you healthy eating habits along with exercise, it is up to you to follow through and do your part. If you are part of the challenge, they do ask you to make check-in posts on Facebook, but never do they force us to do anything that we don't want to do, EVER. I love this place so much and believe in them and their leadership styles, that I am writing my term paper on how their leadership and encouragement helps others teach self leadership, at the suggestion of my professor (whom I had when I started this journey and still have as a professor and has seen the great change in me because of this program). My friends, family and even my employers have seen such a change in me that is all due to Jerry, Nate, Travis, Travis, Brandon, Dr. Mike and everyone else at VIP. My demeanor has changed, I am happier, I wake up and look forward to my daily workouts and I hate when my schedule doesn't allow me to get in the gym for a day. At VIP, they treat you like family. I am so glad I resisted my initial reservations and went ahead and signed up for the 6 week weight loss challenge. I was truly concerned that it was a scam, I thought, "who would let you work out for 6 weeks and then give you your money back?... No one, right?" Well VIP does. Yes, there are requirements that you have to meet, they need to get something out of it right, but if you meet these requirements you get your money back. They don't hide anything from you at the initial meeting, you are told about all the requirements before you sign any paperwork and pay any money, so you are fully aware of what you are committing to. I have completed two challenges, with some time off in-between due to an extended vacation, and after weighing in today I am happy to report I met all of my goals, am 65 pounds lighter, and got my money back. I LOVE it there and signed up for 2 more months of boot camps and plan on going to figure camp (weight training) after that. The trainers are amazing and do a great job of pushing you to do your best. They really care about your progress and take pride in your victories. The other challengers are so supportive and do a great job of lifting you up when you are struggling. The support, recipe ideas, and comradery in the private Facebook group that includes current and past challengers is unbelievable. I am so glad that I took this leap of faith and signed up for the challenge. I would not be where I am today without it. I have done other weight loss programs and nothing compares to this (Weight Watchers, Atkins, Zumba, going to the gym on my own). My best friend told me about this 6 week fitness challenge. He explained to me that VIP Fitness would provide me access to a fitness trainer and dietitian at no cost. I was a bit skeptical about the program at first and I was recovering from major reconstructive knee surgery and didn't know if I could physical handle the boot camp style workouts. I did the 6 week bootcamp challenge at the Rochester location. Prior to this, I have been a member at a couple of gyms and have done bootcamp at another organization. The bootcamp and weekly weigh-ins helped keep me responsible and motivated to stick to it. I must admit I did struggle at times with the diet change, but with some pep talks with the trainers and staff, I managed to stick it out. I have gotten back into the shape I was before I started school- very exciting to achieve that in 6 weeks! It is also very exciting to see the changes in my body as the weeks progressed- I can tell a big difference since the start. I don't want to say everyone loses 20 pounds in 6 weeks, but many people have and some have lost way above that. The amount we lose really depends on our body and how much effort we put in. I managed to juggle 5days a week between 12.5 hour night shifts- sometimes going right before work and right after. I liked that they had many hours throughout the day for bootcamp- it made it easier for me to manage with work. The trainers and staff seem like they genuinely want us to succeed- something I did not get at the other organizations/gyms I had previously joined. The private facebook page is helpful, because it helps build our little community and allows us to support one another. I've been going to vip for over six months, and it has changed my life. I was disappointed when some one I recommended it to told me about negative reviews as if they were anything close to accurate. I'm sure some have negative experiences but the great majority have flowing love and compliments for this facility. To call it a gym is an understatement. It's because a home to so many. Changing our appearance is just the tip of the iceberg. It's changed my health (no longer need bp or cholesterol meds), my outlook on life, my confidence, my energy, my sleeping habits, my eating habits, etc etc etc. All for the same 500 dollars I paid over six months ago. Where do I begin. I have know the owners of VIP for 10+ years. Great guys, educated, fun, and motivated to make people successful. If they did not know what they were doing, and were not as successful as they are they wouldn't be doing as well as they are or helping as many people as they have and continue to help. They give you the tools for success. I've been all over the map with my health, lazy and fat to moderately working out and getting by, to doing their weight loss challenge twice and being successful. I'm now doing their figure camp program. Everyone at the facility is invested in your success. They all reach out to you and make you feel welcomed. It is a feeling of family there. Are the workouts hard? Yes. If it doesn't challenge you it doesn't change you. Is it expensive? That's relative, right? I went to VIP on a groupon and decided I couldn't afford it and it was too far away. So I joined a gym closer to home. I ended up back at VIP and am more than happy for that decision. I was 219 pounds last June. I saw a post on Facebook about a weight loss program and decided to check out a meeting they were holding. After that meeting and talking to one of the owners and several of the trainers due to the fact I have Multiple Scelorsis, I decided to join the program. To my surprise in the first six week phase of the program I lost 22.4 pounds! During the next six week phase of the program I again lost more than 20 pounds. I decided to do another phase and low and behold I lost more than 20 pounds again! I would like to start out by saying that VIP fitness has been one of the best experiences of my life. I completed the first weight loss challenge and two subsequent figure camps despite having one hand.The owners and trainers have never made me feel different and have even modified some of the exercises to help me achieve my goals. Yes I paid the fee upfront for the first weight loss challenge but after completing the challenge and making my weight loss goal I was refunded the whole fee amount that I rolled into the first figure camp, and I can't think of any better motivator to make my goal than that. The owners and trainers all really care about the people that come through their door and even everyone feel like family. I signed up for the free program they offer and VIP asks for a deposit, if you follow the program and meet the goal they give you then you have the option to get your money back or continue the program. I have seen a number of people choose the money back and I have also seen a number of people choose to continue the program. Either way it is amazing. I lost just over 40 pounds in 12 weeks! My husband signed up also and lost 26 pounds and 7 weeks later never gained it back. This isn't a crash diet it is truly eating the correct food and working out. The workouts and trainers are amazing I loved everything about my experience. 6 weeks ago I weight 223.2 lbs. I felt depressed about the weight I had gained over the last year. I had a hard time motivating myself to eat healthy, but then I saw an add on Facebook about a "weight loss challenge". PERFECT! I needed to be challenged. I went to the information meeting and they said they had a meal plan with the workout routine. That was what I really wanted, as I struggled with not eating health foods. I signed up.
