Lifetime Fitness double books their spaces (gym, pools). They may charge you extra to use certain amenities (e.g., outdoor pools) You pay a HUGE monthly fee. Then, during peak hours, they rent out that space for classes, parties, swim teams, and more. If they can find any reason to close the amenity early (sometimes they skip contriving a reason) they close it early. When it is open they unevenly enforce the rules. For example, in the lap pool if your child who is 13 swims laps with you they will harass you endlessly, inquiring if your child is REALLY over 12. If your child touches the lane line the guards will blow their whistles. But if a gang of kids obviously under 12 takes over several lanes of the pool, sits on the lane lines, blocks other lanes, and disrupts the areas the guards do nothing. On the weight machines members will sit on one for a half and hour straight watching videos on their phone. The staff will not ask those members to move on. Working out in the weight room is a frustrating experience.

Absolutely love this gym! Love that there are multiple different workout videos and they're…read moreconstantly updating. My favorite thing about this gym is that it makes me feel safe. The gym is locked 24/7 and only members or staff have access. This makes me extremely safe and at ease when I'm working out early in the morning or late at night and I am one of the few people at the gym. Although the HotWorx app itself could use some updating I do really like that it shows each level you hit based on how many calories you've burned. I feel like tracking my levels and my calories burned compared to the local leadership board motivates me each time I'm in the gym!

Even though HOTWORX has the same requirements, I don't have to wear my mask when working out. My work out is in an enclosed sauna pod, it's just me. I have tried Hot Cycle (sauna temperature is between 125-130f) a 15 minute exercise that normally isn't to difficult then add the dry heat. It is rough. Like a knucklehead after doing Hot cycle, I then tried hot yoga. Mistake, huge mistake. I nearly passed out about 10 minutes in. Hot yoga is 45 minutes and after doing hot cycle for 15 minutes may have been to much. You need an appointment which is easy thanks to their app and its open 24 hours.
