Used old polish slid right off nails 1 hour after having them done. Refused refund of 20 for my 40 dollar bill . Use very small fans to dry the polish very weak fans no UV lighting no hardening spray. did not do my cuticles / trim cuticles and laughed at the fact that it's a regular nail polish and it doesn't harden. It's the way it is with that nail polish they said .....do not go there. I had to go to work no time to repair . Unbelievable! my mom came to this nail place to get her nails done and one day she came back with hideous nails! This is unacceptable! who ever did her nails, go back to Nail School! I feel that I got less of the pedicure than what I paid for. I asked for the spa pedicure...but no color. Yet my heels and side of big toes were not touched. Other places make sure to smooth those out as part of that services. Also...my cuticles were not touched. The service was rushed even though there was only one other person being serviced in pedicure section. I paid over $45 and my toes look like I tried to just do them. By the way...I get monthly pedicures so this NOT how my toes normally look from my usual place. read more

Made an appointment a week ahead of time online. Called salon to confirm my appointment. I show up and no one is available. I'm waiting and waiting. No one greets me. I leave the salon 35 min after my appointment time. I check-in on Facebook about my bad experience and the owner posts saying that they were very busy. I show a screenshot of my appointment and then crickets. I then get an email saying that the miss me and want me to come back. This place is a joke. With such poor mismanagement, I count my blessings I didn't get my nails done here. I imagine the shortcuts and mismanagement bleeds over in the sanitation of this place. read more

I went here to get my nails taken off and it costed me 40 dollars because I asked for a manicure and the womens idea of that was buffing my nails and putting oil on them and saying wash your hands. The lady was rude and telling me to stop pulling my hand away and talking about me in Chinese. It was a terrible experience and I will never be back. read more

I got a manicure here on the fly one day with a friend. I really liked my manicure it lasted 3 weeks and didn't chip AT ALL! The girl that did the nails was very attentive and knew what she was doing. I'll be going back there to get my gel manicures from now on. It was only $25 so I tipped well for clean and fast serivce. My mom received a gift certificate from a family member, so we went together on July 4th thinking, because of the holiday, we wouldn't have a very long wait. Little did we know, a bridal party (4-6 girls) was getting ready to be serviced. The guy at the front desk told us to come back in an hour -- didn't ask if we wanted to schedule an appointment, what we wanted done, or anything. We actually came back later that day and they took us back right away (probably because I called to tell them we were coming back.) The same guy from the desk did my nails. He didn't interact with me the entire time he was doing my manicure, except to tell me that the color I had chosen for my nails was popular. He actually got up and left my station a couple times to get tools and check people out. I didn't feel super welcomed or like he cared about my manicure -- he pretty much rushed through everything. He left me so my nails could dry and never came back or said anything. My manicure didn't last 24 hours. This morning I woke up and noticed one of my nails was chipped, two of my nails broke during the day, and another chipped. Two stars because my mom seemed to enjoy her pedicure. read more

Amazing service....scheduled a last min appointment at 11 and they got me in at 1. As soon as I walked in they took my temperature and had me in a chair to start immediately. Wanted to get my nails done before Thanksgiving. Had some time Wednesday evening because I got into town early. I called ahead and asked if they could fit me in around 6pm. She said try to come by 5:45. I was there on the dot. Apparently they don't have any organization with customers and appointments and it is first-come. I waited for 30 minutes to get a simple manicure. I picked out my color and the woman started and I ended up stopping her and asking about something she was going to put on my nails that looked like Gel. I told her I did not want Gel. She told me it was a "base" for the polish and assured me it was not Gel. It has been probably about 4 years since I have gotten a manicure so I allowed her to proceed. I had zero idea it was Gel until I got to the register. When we got to the register at the end she told me it would be $25. I told her a manicure was $15. She told me I asked for Gel. Uhhh no I did not. I didn't want Gel because last time it tore up my nails as bad as acrylics. I paid for my regular manicure ($15) and left (actually I paid $20 so I could give a $5 tip). I told the woman when I arrived, which I am assuming is the owner, that I wanted a regular manicure. I told the technician twice "no Gel". How many times do you have to tell someone no Gel? It isn't my problem that they can't understand English. I wouldn't come here and will never be returning. Looking back, I shouldn't have given them any of my money at all. You can tell a lot by this place by the fact that the "owner" blames the customer. Not once did the technician ask me what I wanted. Another technician talked to her in their language and then she started. And they continued talking to one another. Awful customer service. read more

New to town and was in desperate need of a nail tech. Been almost 5 weeks since my last session. Just leaving and I really love my tech Tina. She was gentle with the removal of my acrylic overlays as my nails were super long. Decided it cut them down and just get gel polish for now. The price was reasonable at $25. The test will be in how long it lasts, I'm a hairstylist. If I can get a solid 10 days then it's spectacular. I'll check back. read more

I walked in and no one was behind the counter. After a few minutes, a lady told me to go pick out my color and for a pedicure take chair 3. I went to pick out my color and saw off brand nail polish and old OPI polish that is from collections 4 years ago. I found this off putting but decided to give it a chance and searched until I found a relatively recent OPI polish that came out I think last year. No one greeted me by the pedicure area. No one ran water. i sat there for 15 minutes completely ignored. I stared at the outdated decor. the three technicians working on other people in the 8 chair area never greeted me or asked what I needed. Another girl scrubbed out a foot basin but never made a move to help me. I got up and left. Don't waste your time. There has to be a more up to date and efficient foot spa in York. read more

I've been coming here for years! All of their employees are so nice and welcoming (and clean!) They do a very nice job on pedicures and manicures -every time! I usually get an acrylic fill. I recently tried the dip polish, also very nice! They have many colors to choose from in gel, powder, and shellac polish. Definitely recommend this shop to my friends and family. read more

My daughter in law found this nail salon and I was so impressed when I saw her nails. They did a professional job needless to say so good the pic of them could of been in the nail magazine. The cuticles where so clean the area around the Polish was so even and clean. They gave a nice hand massage and never rushed her out like most places I've gone. read more

I think all women will understand that when you find a good waxed you are very careful about what happens when you have to change. I couldn't be happier with this salon. The first time I went, I was very happy with my nails and they lasted two weeks. The second time, I had a different person and my experience was totally different. I had to go back less than a week later for three nails to be repainted because the gel started to peel off! The next day, two different nails have peeled off. If there was a "no star" choice, I would do that. I was hanging out with my girlfriends because our relay team was going to states. We all had the same color, red with black CRACKLE.( our teams colors). The lady I got did a terrible job on my nails. The only thing she said was "You bite your nails." Three times!!! She also cut them really short so they couldn't be painted. Another lady came by and started destacting her. They were also laughing in a different language that I knew and it wasn't very nice. When mine started to dry, my other friends were better than mine! Our nails were all the same length and didn't hear the other ladies talking bad to them. I wanted to start crying, but didn't want to look bad. Later, my nails looked chipped. But they were ok and somewhat nice. read more

I recently had a manicure, and it was possibly the worst manicure I have ever had. It was the gentleman ( I assume he was the owner)who was my manicurist. He was curt, rude and did not even clean under my nails!! I kept waiting for that to happen , but it never did. The manicure was done in under 10 minutes. I can do a better job at home! Left the salon today after being ripped off. Inflated prices and the customer service is horrible. They threatened to cut my daughters nails off when I questioned there pricing. My poor nine year old was so freaked out when she grabbed her hand and threatened to cut her nails. I wouldn't go there again ever!!! Plus its no fun being ignored for over an hour. Not sure if they didn't want to do young girls nails or if they were just having a bad day. Couldn't even talk to because they started yelling and talking in another language.
