One I got my nails done on a Friday night I came in around 7:00 they were fairly busy I didn't get seated until 7:30ish my nails looked nice but then On Saturday they started to peel off literally the whole top coat came off plus they didn't do my cuticles they kept talking about how they had to go my mom got a full set in gel and it looked so bumpy and the guy who did them kept talking about he had to go home and he didn't want to fix them! I sent my daughter to get her nails done. The first time they kept tacking on treatments. When she said no they were frustrated with her. It ended up costing $65 for a pedicure. She was given a gift card for her birthday so she had to go back. She said she wanted gel on her toes. She picked a color. They did a French manicure. She was so upset she spoke with the manager. They gave her a hard time. The lady who did her nails was mad and muttering under her breath. My daughter called me crying. They absolutely fail in customer service. read more

Worst visit to a nail salon I've ever had! The lady doing my nails was very rude and smacked my hand multiple times when I wasn't "relaxed enough". Not to mention got an attitude with me when I asked her to use a clean file. She said "they don't have any more"..C'mon, now. Then came back a few minutes later with a new one. I thought she didn't have any more? The file she tried to use on me was clearly VERY used!! nail dust and marks all over it. I'm not trying to get an infection.. Also I had to come home and put another clear coat on my nails. She used one very thin coat and I could still see gritty nail underneath it. Nail tech, Sally, was more interested in talking with other techs than paying attention to my feet. Nails were cut unevenly, some short some longer. Cuticles were barely trimmed. I inspected the polish job when I got home and found excess polish between the nail and the skin. She did wipe away what could be seen but left behind gobs in the crease. She also had piled on so much polish that the polish was still wet and had smeared. I removed the polish and re-did my nails myself. They used to have a very conscientious tech, Mindy, but I have been told she is no longer there. I will go back but will definitely not use Sally. read more

Went here for a pedicure and fill. It's obvious all these people care about is getting people in and out to make money. The pedicure was done hastily and I still had dirt on my heels from my sandals. I came here to get my nails done for my wedding. I showed my technician what I wanted and she said she could do it. It was very simple, yellow polish with thick silver flakes of glitter starting at the cuticles and fading as it reached the top of the nail. However, when she started on the silver, the polish she was using had extremely small flakes of glitter in it that barely showed up after two coats. I showed her the picture again and asked to get thicker silver glitter flakes, like what was in the picture. THEN she tells me that they don't have a polish like that and she can't do it. AFTER she already told me she would be able to do it. She did not offer to do my nails another way and made me pay for what she had done. I had to have nails for my wedding that were not what I wanted and looked quite bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Got toenail fungus from this place - and to top it off I didn't know what it was and asked them what to do for split toenail and they put on an acrylic nail, which only made fungus more severe. Had to see a podiatrist and get prescription, which cost 1,621. Thank goodness I have decent prescription insurance which significantly lowered this cost. This place destroyed my nails! I asked for acrylic nails and there are so many problems! 1)they did not apply acrylic only nail tips, seriously no acrylic. The sanded my natural nail again as if acrylic was applied which destroyed my nail beds!! I had 5 tips break in less than 5 days, but then found out when I had my nails fixed at a much better salon that they had charged me way more than acrylic nails cost so I have no idea what they charged me for!! I will never return there!!! If you want to keep your nailbeds avoid the place like the bubonic plague! ! I also advise anyone who wants to get what you spend your money on to avoid the place too ! While they do an amazing job on your nails, I will never go back here. They cut me on my toe in a spot that was nowhere near my nail, and just put glue on it. Brought my daughter & her friend for the 3 of us to have pedicures. We were seated within ten minutes. The girls chose the 'classic pedicure' $20 and I chose the 'hot oil' $30. Mine was a total waste of money. I was abandoned and left soaking in green goo, she barely filed my nails barely got a exfoliating rub and the massage was horrible, she just rubbed my shins. I tried to tell her but while being sweet was either super tired or just lame. The girls were lucky they had attentive, complete pedicures. For the first time in my life I didn't tip! I went to VIP nails yesterday for the first time. I was rushed. They kept talking among each other so I couldn't understand them & I felt like they were talking about me. I got "pink & white french tips w/ acrilic". They are very uneven. The clear coat polish at the end left bubbles on my nails. My fingers were glued to the tips. I had to separate them myself after I left & trim the glue/acrilic off. Also I went in with a bright pink polish on & she didn't even remove all of it & it's visible through the nail. I asked for the pink powder (as my cousin who does nails professionally has done many times & looked awesome) & was told "no" & excuses about how "it no look good" & " I know nail, you not". It's called "PINK & white" for a reason. I wanted them semi short however my thumbs & most of them are so short you can't even tell they're supposed to be a tad longer. The girl I had was named "Anna". She seemed nice enough however I'm not going to be going back there again. Definitely would recommend checking around first & finding a better place. I didn't & one look at the reviews on here would have helped me. I'll come back in a week or two & update how they're holding up. read more

I have always loved coming here but today went to get a gel fill in and they told me they usually do gel powder but at my place at home I do liquid gel so they did that and charged me $50 for a liquid gel fill in which is INSANE. I have never paid that much for a gel fill in in my life. I do not know if they ripped me off or what happened but I will not spend that much for a fill in ever again especially when I got french done and the nails were not done even with the white, very frustrated! read more

I have been going time VIP Nail Salon for a while and have always been satisfied, but today I went there just to get a color change. I had a different tech this time. I had gel Polish on top of your own nails that had a gel powder coating to protect my real nails. She (Ann) soaked cotton with acetone to make the Polish come off easy and then when she got Polish off she used the dremel tool to file my nails, then Emory board. Then she polished my nails as usual, charged me $32.00 mind you just for a color change. Got home and got to looking at my nails very poor Polish job and now I have two nails that are really weak and could break at any minute. I will not return there. Very dissatisfied. read more

Worst nail salon I have ever gone to. First off, let me say that I have been to this place more than once, because I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but after this last experience, I will NEVER go back. I started off by asking the guy to file my nails down a little, as they had grown out since I last got them done 2 weeks ago. He catches my nail a little too hard with the dremel and takes almost half of it off! I was upset, but I let him continue because hey, they're nails and they will grow out within a week or two. I get oval nails, so I know that not everyone can do them, instead of saying anything, he proceeds to make them round. When I see what he has done I ask him to make them more oval, and even show him an example. By the time he reshaped them not only were they super short, they were POINTED! Instead of asking him to do it again (and risk losing all length together) I asked to see the file so I could round out the ends myself. As I am doing so, I look up to see one of the ladies that works there snickering and giving the man a look as if to say I was crazy. I was so upset I left without getting them painted because I wanted to run home and reshape them. You couldn't pay me enough to deal with a poorly done job and 0 customer service. I didn't love this place. Somehow my SNS nails have marks/indentions as if I had regular polish- I think was due to a top coat used. About half of my nails were stuck to my skin and I had to have them re- file. I felt like my pedicure was rushed as well. My cuticles were cut before being soaked and none after. Was in town & decided to try this place out. Nothing special on the outside but it's huge on the inside! I didn't expect it to be that big! They have a restaurant like menu of pedicures that they offer with one of the biggest selections I've seen. I tried the sweet almond which was nice. I especially loved the parrafin wrap that was included. A lady a few chairs down from me had the cappuccino pedicure. I could smell it where I was sitting & it made me want coffee! I'll be getting that one next time!!! I don't like it when places cut down the sides of my nail cause it makes my nails ingrown. The lady that did my nails cut them straight across as I requested & did an excellent job! Everything was packaged and opened new just for me. It was really clean, which is important to me! A manicure with gel nails and pedicure were done just before i left on a week's vacation. Within a few days the gel polish on my left hand peeled off and the toe polish began to wear down from a dark rose to light pink. Upon returning I stopped by the salon to show the results. I told them I wasn't looking for firer services but wanted them to be aware of what happened. The young man with whom I spoke said the service had not been done there and insisted for a receipt. Again I assured him I wasn't there to procure free services but show the results of poor quality work. Once again he told me that if I did not have a receipt, the work wasn't done there. This salon has about 30+ nail technicians. All I wanted was a nail repair & it was 10 minutes until I was even seated. When I was seated, it took another 15 minutes for someone to come & do my nails. I even saw some people who came in after being served before me. They were busy, but as I mentioned, they are HEAVILY staffed. I found that the staff that I encountered a bit rude & annoyed, I guess because a nail fix is only $5 so maybe they felt it wasn't worth their time. They got through doing my nail pretty quickly & they looked pretty good. Would've been a much better experience if the staff had treated me like a worthwhile customer. read more

I will never ever ever step foot back in this place. I am beyond upset right now. My daughter and I went to get our nails done here which I knew better than to go back due to previous times where I had a horrible experience but stupid me gave them another chance. So we all know it's very hard to understand these people well once everything was all said and done my total bill was $130. I was literally sick to my stomach but I paid it, and while she was painting them she was adding this and that while I couldn't understand a word she was saying. Basically I had to pay more for less polish makes a lot of sense huh. Now this is the kicker, 5 days after having my nails on they started coming off along with the gel polish peeling off. So I went up there thinking surely they are going to fix the problem nope, well yes but $20 more $20 more $20 more. YOU HAVE TO BE JOKING RIGHT. So I am to pay 20 more on top of the 58 I already paid for a poor job. So I said I just want the rest of what's left OFF and haha then they try and charge me $10 for that. I SAID NO NOT HAPPENING and so then the I guess manager spoke in their language back and forth with each other (hello I am not stupid I know you are talking about me in my face) psht. Now my nails are super thin hurt like crazy and I am so upset that I am in tears. What was suppose to be a fun relaxing time with my daughter turned out to be a complete nightmare.
