I wanted to get my nails done for my birthday but had limited time to do it. I personally like to go to the smaller nail shops because they seem to give more care than looking at you like a number. I walked into the shop in hopes they could fit me right in and they were able to take me right away and they were! The nail tech was welcoming and gave me his recommendations to give me the best look. I wanted dip with tips and they had a ton of colors too choose from. They had a special book dedicated book to more neutral colors which is the book I chose from. I was tented to get a design of some sort but wasn't sure what I wanted. Since I am going on a vacation I asked the nail tech to create a design for me. The design he created gives me summer vacation vibes and I absolutely love it. The salon is super clean and from what I could see they have comfy pedicure chairs. Next time I will have to get a pedicure to try them. If you are looking for a nail salon that is reasonably priced and doesn't treat you like a number I would suggest to go here.

Danny did an excellent job! I've heard great things about VIP Nails but always went to the salons closest to me. I've bounced around trying to find one that meets my expectations as well as amazing customer service and the rumors are true VIP has the warm, welcoming atmosphere, talent and they were fast! Very happy with the final product.
April never disappoints!! Told her they are my birthday nails and to do whatever she wants, gave her a price and this was the outcome. Absolutely amazing. Always does a fantastic job! One of the best nail salons around!!

I tried this lovely nail shop one Friday evening December 3rd. I wanted to finally get my nails done with my daughter ( she's 4 and her first time ). It's been ages since yo girl got her nails did Miss Tina did my daughters nails and she loves them! Her heart was so happy Mr. Tommy did my toesies and Mr. Kevin did my nails. We were running late and got to the nail salon after 6pm and they took wonderful care of me and finished in an hour!! V. Good!! Had a good time with my brother tommy God bless their hearts thanks for taking such good care of us

I have found my favorite nail salon in my area! I won't go anywhere else! I recently moved to Lincoln and I found them on a whim because my old salon I went to was booked solid for a few days and I googled a nail place in Lincoln and they were number 1 in my area!what's even more insane is they're 2 mins from my house! I could walk there! So of course I made an appointment so quick! It's hard to find a good nail salon with decent prices and they do exactly what you ask for. Show them a pic on Pinterest and they'll do it. No questions asked! And I definitely recommend you let them freestyle sometimes if you're debating on what you're wanting to do. They will surprise you with their talents! My nails and hands are the first thing people notice at my job. Plus due to the pandemic we have to wear a mask, and you can't really express yourself with anything else while wearing masks, so my nails I take much pride in because that's the only thing that shows exactly the kind of person I am! April and Danny run a clean tight business and they do absolutely phenomenal work! They are very friendly and hilarious if you get them talking! They are absolutely the best people and you can tell that they genuinely care about each person that walks in. I recommend them to all of my friends and family who love getting the special attention and treatment at a salon! Salons are our downtime. Some don't get a lot of relaxation during the week so it's nice to take an hour or so to relax and do a little self care and you get it there at VIP! I won't go anywhere else! Definitely 10/10!
Absolutely amazing! I left my nail shop in Natomas after being faithful to them for about 5ish years, and was recommended to VIP nails in Lincoln.. it's about a 30min drive from my house, but it's soooo worth it! The owner Danny and his wife April are amazing! We head out on a cruise next week, and April did my nails! Both designs are hand drawn!! I 10/10 recommend!!
I come to VIP nails & spa every 2-3 weeks to get my nails done and every time I have a good experience and beautiful nails! I'm always left happy! Danny is the best!! He always accommodates me, and does really good job on my nails. He just did my nails for my birthday with jewel designs, and they are stunning!! I'm so happy and love them! If you want to get some fabulous nails I highly recommend this salon!

The worst experience I've had in a nail salon thus far. I got my nails done with a guy named Kim, who the whole time tried to up-sell me on getting a design, a different color, etc., it was annoying as I had to repeat myself multiple times that I don't want that and each time he gave attitude that this is too boring for him, he'd make annoying comments after I would tell him that I want simple nails, such as "you could have fooled me with your platinum hair". I've never had a nail tech argue with me about what should go on my nails, I even asked for short and he said "why do coffin if you're gonna do short? We're not doing that". He in general just had an attitude about everything and a snarky comment from what car I drive to how I pronounce something. Lol so much for professionalism and class. On to the actual nails though, it's been a week and two of them have now broke. I wasted $55. I don't recommend this place to anyone, the only reason they have good reviews is because of one decent nail tech. read more

I came here today for the very first time I made an appointment because I needed to get my nails done for a while and wasn't able to before I was happy that they were able to get me in very quickly I called this morning and was able to get a 1030 appointment I was really happy about that given the fact that a lot of places are very booked up when I came into the establishment I noticed right away it was very clean very nice establishment very clean atmosphere I was reading right away by the guy working closest to the door and I was helped by Tami today she did a gel fill which fiberglass with gel nail polish colors over it very station very friendly nail technician Tami did a very great job and took her time she went over my nails and looked at them a few times to make sure they were exactly even she took her time and made sure I left with exactly what I wanted very great experience very friendly staff they also had a lot of different pedicures to offer but I will have to try next time very nice establishment very friendly helpful staff I highly recommend this establishment for everyone the staff is definitely taking precautions with COVID-19 they even have dividers in between customers so we won't be in contact with other customers which is very nice glad to see they are taking the proper measurements to prevent COVID-19 from spreading makes me feel very comfortable that this company is taking all the safety precautions and when you pay with cash over here they give you a stamp card which once you get five you get five dollars off which is great because he doesn't like five dollars off of a service I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and we're great experiences to come thank you Tami you did a very great job on my nails I am very happy with the way they turn out thank you so much I will see you and the other staff again very soon Thank you again :-) read more

My friend and I came to VIP after scouring salons on Yelp, and I'm so happy I ended up here! It is a large salon with many talented technicians, and it is very clear how important cleanliness is to them. Some salons make you question how clean their tools and basins are--not at VIP. The salon is pretty, nice bathroom, decent music playing, no TV, comfy (working) massage chairs, and welcoming. With me, the owner, Danny is extremely good. He gets the shape perfect in my first time and my nails look gorgeous. In addition, my friend was a newly "out" trans person (m to f) and got his first mani-pedi there. They were so sweet to him, helping pick colors, giving him advice on design and nail care, etc. I will keep going back. I used to pay almost double the price for similar quality work at VIP Nails. And as a bonus, at VIP, I enjoy the gentle, accommodating, non-rushed, welcoming environment even more. Highly recommend! read more

Just moved to the area and brought my two daughters here for a girls night. We definitely got VIP treatment! My girls got kids mani and pedi and I got gel nails with the milk and honey pedicure. It was amazing! Great cuticle cut and polish. They even had a non gel of the same color I chose for my toes! They even have small waters if your thirsty. The owner stayed open past closing to accommodate us. Clean, local and will be back! Use cash and you get a stamp card for eventual $5 off! They even guarantee nails. I got a 12 day no chip guaranteed for my gel nails or they fix it! read more

Walked in at opening on Friday morning. Overall had a very good experience and really enjoyed speaking to the technician that did my nails. I decided to do dip nails for the first time and so far I think they are great. I love that no UV Ray was used. Emily was my technician. She was friendly and listened to my requested. She helped me decide a color and I am very pleased with the outcome. Tools came out of fresh sanitation bags. At the end they gave me a card with the technicians name, lanolin polish color number, date, and guaranteed 12 days of no chipping. I will be returning. read more

Honestly the worst mani pedi I've had in my entire life. I paid $43 plus a $5 tip because I was taught tipping no matter what is the right thing to do. Really sad and regretting paying that much when it looks like a 5 year old painted my nails.... read more

I've gotten my nails done there a few times. Every time I go everyone is super nice and I always come out happy with my nails. These are both times I've went, and they looked amazing both times. Love this place!!! April did awesome!! read more

If you are looking for a fantastic nail salon this is a must to go to, you will fall in love and go no where else. I can not rave enough about this salon Danny is the best for getting your nails done he is creative and kind and listens to you and what you would like to do and he has even said watch I will do something and bam I got so many compliments on my nails since going here this is home for me. And the pedicures are amazing as well I feel so well taken care of here I will never go anywhere else! I would like to add Danny's recent set on me and I am in Awwness! read more

I just moved to Lincoln and was looking for a new nail place. This is perfect!! So pretty and nice and clean, very friendly people. Danny did my nails and did a perfect job. Danny kept a conversation with me the whole time he did my nails. Not like my other nail place in Rocklin where they ignored me the whole time my nails were done. VIP nails is just blocks from my new home so very happy, See you in two weeks Danny, thanks for the great job on my nails. read more

Super clean, accomodating for appointments or as walk ins, prices are good, staff is super nice, nails are lovely! The vibe is good here! What more could you ask for? This is the first nail salon I was happy with my end result. I didn't get cut or bleed like I have at a few of the nail salons I have previously visited. Danny was the technician who applied my fill and it looks great! Will be back again. read more

The "manager" (laughable) did the poorest job imaginable on my nails. We had to point out that he didn't use enough glue & needed to redo the step. He was rude, defensive & agreed that we should have gone to California nail for a better job. When "fixing" my nails he squeezed my finger so hard my finger went numb. He caked on the acrylic & my nails have NEVER been this thick. He did such a poor job he he should be ashamed of his work ethic & was very honest in the fact that he couldn't free hand simple flames. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to my worst enemy. If this is the only shop open I would stay home & use white out & a crayon before going here!!!!!!! read more

This is a great nail salon! They are very accommodating with getting you in for an appointment and do beautiful work! I had no lifting at all even with being way past due for a fill. I'm very happy with my lavender nails for Spring and will definitely be back! read more

Ive been coming here for a year now to get long acrylic nails and pedicures. Danny is supper fast and does an amazing job. I love the shape he does for me and each nail looks identical. He can do my nails so perfect within only 45 minutes. The gel is never done sloppy or too thick by danny or anyone else who does my pedicures, which is an issue I would have at all other salons I've been to. The pedicures are wonderful here as well and all of the staff aims to please. I love the pedicure chairs here too lol. read more

I have been coming to VIP Nails for the last few months now and I'm obsessed with this salon. After moving here from the Bay Area recently, my search for a nail salon turned into a scavenger hunt. Finding one that doesn't have tables filled with dust shavings and nail clippings on the chairs is quite the challenge let alone someone who can just paint correctly and shape your nails how you like them. VIP nails NAILED it! With an extremely clean, highly organized salon filled with friendly and professional nail techs, they are a salon you definitely want doing your nails. I called to make an appointment for a mani and pedi and Rachel who is one of the owners did my nails. They open and use brand new tools and files every single time! Being a major germaphobe my eyes lit up when I saw them do this. Most salons just put them in jars filled with antibacterial liquid, mainly because it very expensive to have new tools every time, but VIP does not mess around when it comes to sterilization and they win big time in my book for doing that. They have a big array of colorful jars filled with all different scrubs and lotions showcased in the back for your pedicure. This is all placed onto a pretty platter which is a nice change from the typical polished stained rolling carts. I really like that the chairs for your pedicures are placed a little toward the back, mainly for the men who may be shy to go in and get one haha. While walk in's are welcomed they really do like appointments. I know some of the salons I have been to in the past say to make an appointment but take walk in's first, this is not the case here and that is much appreciated. Rachel and Danny who recently became new owners of this salon since January of 2017 has done a great job maintaining the quality and cleanliness of this salon while providing great customer service. With no affiliation with the previous owners please take note that any reviews posted in 2016 are from customers that were with the others owners before ruling them out. Definitely a must check out if you are looking for a nail salon. read more

I was looking for a place for my husband and I to get pedicures together and came in based on the Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! The salon was so pretty and clean. We were put into our chairs and both of us got the Milk and Honey pedicure. The girls taking care of us were friendly with ready smiles, sealed and sterilized instruments, and made us feel so pampered. This was my husband's first ever pedicure and he is already talking about going back, which is a win for me ;) I am already planning on returning for my next gel fill as their prices are the same as my current salon but the atmosphere is so much better. I would highly recommend VIP Nails and Spa to everyone. read more

Found VIP Nail & Spa salon on yelp, had good ratings so took a chance and scheduled a bridal shower for my daughter. Upon arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner, I had scheduled pedicures and manicures for 8 (including 1 child). The nail technicians did a really great job (and I had a couple of picky women with us ), each individual had their own packaged nail equipment which was a plus. We were there for a total of two hours, at the end of our session we were all very satisfied and will be rreturning thank you VIP Nail Salon!!! read more
