Long story short, there was a mishap in booking of a local photo booth, and they were able to help out. We are so happy that there was an error because it worked out better than we expected. Actually Seattle customers should consider using The Original Photo Booth because they don't have to pay sales tax. It turns about to be a better deal than local booths. Besides the value, the service and the photos themselves are excellent! Some pictures from photo booths can be very grainy or very white, but the quality of these photos were great! They even took the digital file from our invitation and made a custom graphic that matched perfectly. This was replicated for the cover of the album we received. The attendant that day was also so kind and happy. Several guests commented on how pleasant he was. We supplied some of our own props, and the props they brought along were quite popular. At the end of the night you have a unique guest book to take home that means so much more than guests simply signing their names. Lastly, Christy, one of the owners was so pleasant to work with. She was kind and responsive. We would definitely recommend them to any couple looking for a fun and unique experience at their wedding. And the value you can't beat!

There are so many commercial "hop on, hop off" tours and driving tours of the city, but we wanted something more personal. My husband found MotoFoto while browsing things to do and contacted Ray with some questions. Ray was quick to respond and had a little back and forth conversation to plan out what we may be interested in seeing. He picked us up in the evening and had some great suggestions on where to get started and what to see. Mostly, he wanted to make sure we were all involved in the decisions. We started at Hale Pele, a very cool, traditional Tiki Bar for a starter flaming cocktail. From there, he wanted to show us a birds eye view of the city from Mount Tabor. He "phoned a friend" and found a local co-op that was hosting an event. So we went there next to see some art and fire dancers. There were also a couple of food truck there to grab a snack! By now, our time was clearly running out, but Ray was in no rush and wanted to make sure we were having a good time. So, one last stop at a local bar (I can't remember the name) that was an old Chinese restaurant full of fun little nooks and crannies to enjoy a drink with friends. Overall, we all had a great time! Ray was super friendly and knowledgeable about the parts of Portland you don't get to see on a regular tour.

The sign on their photo booth says "Best Photo Booth". That's a lie…read more I get to go to a lot of events that have photo booths. I also plan a lot of events, many of which feature photo booths. I don't know if something can be "wildly underwhelming" (seems an oxymoron) but if that's possible, Moto Foto is it. I visited this photo booth as part of the NW Food and Wine Fest. It's in a VW Bus, a concept that used to be somewhat unique but now is replicated via a variety of companies. Every other one I've been in does it better than Moto Foto. Let's list how: * First, they had a lot of props, but many of them were broken. For example, multiple pairs of glasses didn't have any arms to them, so basically they're just trash in a box. * The inside of the bus just looks junky. Parts of it are black-light reactant. Other parts are patterns that clash with one another. Random rope lights. Zero sense of design. Sloppy. * The camera setup itself is weird. It takes 4 images for you, and every time it takes a pic, the music cuts out. I guess that's not the end of the world, but a tech glitch that both my friend and I noticed independently. * The print out seemed to be poor quality. Definitely came out dark (though that might be because of the space more than the tech). The pictures themselves were OK I guess, but it's on a weird background and is super cluttered. Also, it had a massive logo of the event on it. Normally I get that, but... * They charged us $7 for the pic! We didn't learn that it wasn't a free experience until we were climbing into the bus, which was definitely a shock. No signage warning of that. And if you're part of a trade show where all of the samples throughout the entire space are free, it's frustrating to learn that you have to pay for a photo booth. And even when you do a photo booth at a place where you're expecting to pay, I feel like $5 is the reasonable limit. I can't think of the last time I was at an event of this nature where you had to pay for photos. It's marketing for both the event and for the photo booth company. Ridiculous. * I was asked by the photo booth guy if I liked it. I said I didn't, and that their claim to being the best was way inaccurate. They still charge me. Kind of goes against the claim they make right here on the "about this business" section. Seriously. I've used/worked with SO many photo booths in markets across the country. This is the worst I've experienced. Heck, I went to a house party a couple of weeks ago where they bought an app for their iPad to turn it into a photo booth. That was better than Moto Foto. Super disappointing.
