They set up shop within the party hall in which my buddy had his wedding reception. They had a colorful backdrop, and plenty of fun props to use in photos. The quality of the photos was TOP NOTCH- the copies we even received back on a complete disc, of all the shots, and with a link for the guests to see, all crisp and full of great props. We were presented with the ability to customize our little strips that print out, and we chose 2 sets- one for the guest and one for them to paste into our scrapbook. The photobooth for you staff took the time to make a layout with our names, dates, and wedding icon into the strip design. They dont just offer a regular, "squeaze in a booth" style, they had 3 options for us to choose from, and we went with the stand up, all open booth because our bar area was in the same area outside of the reception entrance so it was a fun way for guests to see some of the goofy photos that were taken. With a price soooo much lower than its competitors, you may worry that this company would perhaps feel a little ghetto. Au contraire, mon frere. At $599, I received: * Set up and Break Down * 3+ hours of photos (event went a little longer, and Hythum generously agreed to stay later as wel) * Choice of black and white or color for every picture taken * Props (props!) * 2 strips of four photos each, with the company logo * Online gallery of prints * Disc with all prints In addition, Hythum went on to our company's website to find additional logos, colors, themes and background that would fit with our photo strip. Hythum is amazing and worked really hard to find a photo booth package that would work for us. We used Photobooth For You for our August wedding after reading the reviews and researching pricing. They aren't the cheapest but they're definitely on the more affordable end and THE BEST value if you ask me. Their team took care of us from start to finish. Their designer and I sent over ten emails until I finally approved the final proof for our photo strip with our customized logo and background. She worked tirelessly and wouldn't allow me to settle until I was 100% satisfied with the design. Seriously amazing. The day of our wedding, a team of three showed up before their scheduled time to setup and stayed a little after their scheduled time. The team that worked my wedding was super helpful and professional. My only suggestion would be to either (1) charge a gratuity upfront or (2) give the bride & groom the option of paying gratuity the day of so there's no tip jar during the event. Several of our guests took multiple photos and their props were great. Even my older relatives got into it and had a great time thanks to the photo booth. We used Photobooth For You for our wedding a few weeks ago... and they were FANTASTIC! People attending our wedding were so excited and there was a line to snap pics all night long. One fun idea PFY suggested was to use the pictures for our guest book (since each time you enter the booth it prints two). We loved that idea and it makes looking back at our guest book so much fun. We went with a pretty basic option (just a standard photobooth set up), however I was super impressed with all of the new technologies and options like video messaging. This company is great! We found them at the Portland Bridal Show and they were not only the best priced company there, but the easiest to work with. Don't be afraid that they are only $599 compared to those high priced companies - you get your money's worth without a doubt. We communicated with the owner by email and it was so cool he used the Square to take the deposit payment at the Bridal Show. They showed up at our daughter's reception at Kennedy School in plenty of time for setup in the perfect location and with plenty of props. There were two attendants to take care of the camera and photo issues (which there weren't any) and were unobtrusive. They were happy to help if there were any questions though. It was definitely the highlight of the wedding reception - so many laughing, giggling, happy people. They were all in line to get into the photo booth rather than on the dance floor. The unit we chose was the open booth which made it easy to get six people in at one time. They do have a regular photo booth like you see at the State Fair but that costs more and is more limiting in the number of people you can fit inside. We didn't request any modifications to the setup but you can if you want to have a custom backdrop. It was very easy for my daughter to setup the custom banner that is printed on each strip of the photos. The font, names, date, place, etc. can be formatted along with special logos if you want. They are happy to make your event the best it can be. The best part is being able to look at all the photos that were taken on their website. You can order prints if you didn't get one of the two strips of photos to keep or download them to use on the web. We highly recommend Hythum and company! read more

This was my BEST wedding find! The owner is SUPER accommodating, fun, and easy to communicate with. I wanted to personalize my booth with a red interior and he custom made it for me. The booth itself is roomy and looks great. The pictures came out quickly and without a hitch. The owner even moved it between two locations (lobby during cocktail hour and ballroom during reception) for me! He got there 2 hours before the wedding started just to make sure it was set up properly and was the last vendor to leave. Within days, he had our CD of the the digital pictures in the mail and uploaded them all onto a website too. He's great. I bought a Living Social Voucher that I was not able to use (note: they only have 1 booth and it was not available for my 40th birthday party). I am looking to sell this. It is $249 for 2 hours of unlimited photos, and an on-site attendant. To put into context what a good deal this is, I ended up paying $500 for a 2 hour rental for my party.
