    we love our home haven't had any major issues nor any real complaints... as of YET !!! and the 1 issue I did have was addressed

Everything seemed really great BEFORE I had tenants, there was lots of open communication, she explained everything. I felt like we were partners. But then as soon as I had people interested in the house, I had NO INFORMATION given to me about any of the financials. I was not privy to their lease agreement, the amount of the deposit, anything. I was also not given any information about when payments would be disbursed until I reached out and asked. This didn't feel like transparency. I was finally given my first payment 12 days after tenants moved into my house. I received a very small fraction of what they paid on move in. This was expected! Expensive, but expected. What was not expected was the re-key fee that Best Life charged me. I left complete sets of keys, there was no need to charge me the rekey. This shouldn't have been a big deal, but I received nothing but defensive communication in response. No apology. She offered to remove the fee but didn't apologize, when I explained why I was frustrated she FIRED ME. That was it. I would have loved for this to be a great experience with no hidden fees--this business advertises pricing transparency--but instead, on my very first disbursement there was a hidden fee. Disappointing to say the least. ALL I NEEDED WAS AN APOLOGY, INSTEAD SHE FIRED ME. I have no idea what will happen to my poor tenants.

    I can't rate the property management company overall yet because they just took over about six…read moreweeks ago so there hasn't been enough time to judge. However, they did send out a great maintenance person, Jerry Grow, within hours of my submitting a request about a clogged drain and non-functioning garbage disposal. Jerry diagnosed the issue and replaced the garbage disposal and unclogged the drain and was very intentional about not leaving a mess, which I really appreciated. He definitely went above and beyond and made sure I didn't have any other maintenance issues that needed to be addressed while he was there. He also gave clarifying information about an issue with the property, and how it was going to be addressed, as well as the best way for us as tenants to contact the manager. Jerry definitely gets five stars in my book.

    Would never recommend to rent at any property managed by this company. The worst and I've lived in…read moremany apartment complexes. They will make sure you don't get your deposit back. Lack of communication, worst maintenance experience I've had. Glad I moved out. If you rent with them, make sure you replace all of your blinds, even if they are not damaged because one replacement of the blinds will cost as much as all of them in your unit. $237 to be exact for one blind replacement. Also, don't bother to wash the carpet because even though I was told they wouldn't deduct of my deposit if I washed it, they still took my money. I ended up owing them $28.41 on top of my $1500 deposit based on, 3 blinds, a door, carpet cleaning and some trim damaged that was already there when I moved in. Same with one of the blinds, the other one just had some bent pieces but not broken. According to them, that's damaged even though they are over 10years old. Absolutely insane! Take them to small claims with all the evidence I need.
