I worked with Margret, the owner of the company on both consultations. I'm a return customer. 1st time was to pick out interior colors and was satisfied with receiving them with in a couple days. I was told it was nice to work with me and looked forward to helping further on my remodel. I had a second consultation to pick home exterior paint colors as our home was being resided a month. During the, "consultation" this timeline was explained to her and she said no problem. After waiting over a month with no response I contacted the company and the owner, Margret, sent me this email... "Got your message from the office and sorry - this has been unfinished in my drafts and I just have been too busy with consultations and remodeling to wrap up. No charge for the visit and sorry - I just am better to focus on the work I have lined up and here." I replied to her I had the contractors her putting up siding and really needed the color choices. She replied "sorry, I'm going on vacation and cannot help you." In an email response. I'm honestly just floored. Agains, if you have money invested in projects and are looking for professionals... this IS NOT the company to go with. I truly just thought they forgot to send the colors over, not she just decided like a game without telling me she had no intentions on helping me after I took a day off to to meet with her at my house consultation. ‍‍‍‍ I will definitely update this post including recommendation to a professional company patrons can use for staging and remodeling choices because you deserve better! We paid for consulting fees and the cost of furniture, they disclosed the cost last time but this time refuse. Furniture does not match the house, we asked for organization and things wer just randomly crammed in odd spots with no organization. They had us look at most of the furniture in advance, one of the pieces they did not have us look at we asked to be returned since it is out of place, they refused. Poor painting on accent walls, crooked picture, uncentered pictures, empty walls. They will only stand behind their work if you pay more. We had to hire out to have the job done correctly. Run far away, they do not stand behind their work.

I had to place air fresheners throughout the house to mask the smell of the couches she used on the main level of our home. We could have bought the furniture and given it to a charity after the sale of our home for less than what we paid her and I wish we had. Finally her interaction with us was very harsh. Her emphasis on paying within days of the invoice date indicates that her company is running on a thread. I do not recommend Ready to Sell. There are many other staging companies in Portland that will do a much better job for you.
