Arthur was transparent from the beginning, even going so far as to tell me that the work might be more expensive than the shoes themselves (two pairs of boots and two pairs of sandals; I wore the heck out of them for three years), and that it would be okay if I needed time to think about it. That alone made me trust him. I arrived a week later and the shoes were restored to their former glory, beautifully resoled and all the stains in the leather taken out. I couldn't believe it.
