when choosing where to buy new snow tires i called around, when i called gorham VIP i said i didn't know if i wanted four new or just two new and i'd keep the better of the ones i had .... guy on the phone said if i bought all four at VIP and had them installed i'd get all sorts of perks from a program i forget the name of but it it was supposed to be free rotations, free changeover to my spring tires, etc. so i selected VIP and made an appointment .... despite my appointment i waited almost an hour before my car was brought into the bay .... then i waited a few more in the freezing cold waiting area with no snacks available straight through lunch .... the service guys could be seen dancing, even another waiting customer commented to me over 3 hours all told for an alignment and mount/balance my car was ready .... or was it? the alignment, i was told, could not be fully completed (and was the reason for the length of time) .... something about bushings, lambolt nuts, what-have-you ....and my car still pulls to one side AND i was told it was like $60 (or thereabouts) for the package that had free rotations, repair, etc. it didn't come with my purchase when paying i was also told there was water in my brake fluid and quoted $102.oo .... even though my car's brakes are fine and three other mechanics said there is no problem .... and i was told that the tires they took off were so bad that if i put them back on in spring i wouldn't pass inspection at the end of april .... they're fine, two mechanics before i went to VIP looked at them for me and a third since i brought them home, just VIP trying to make a buck off a woman who doesn't know cars also, when I called I was told it was $60 for an alignment if i bought four tires, but i was charged $70 .... and i was charged $4 for valves and $12.87 for shop supplies .... it was my understanding that the mount n' balance as well as alignment were flat rates, not add ons when i was trying to understand my bill the manager was curt, i was starving and cold and he literally walked away as i was asking a question about fuel filters (work i was thinking i needed done as i had just bought the car from a friend and it was sluggish on hills) .... so i gave up and left i'm filling out this Yelp review so i can print it and get a free oil change but i will be bringing it to the littleton vip which is where i had my previous car aligned and i was treated properly there's more, but i'm tired of typing p.s. i got the vehicle analysis summary of someone else's elantra stapled in with my paperwork, i'm assuming this jim fellow got mine read more

A couple weeks ago we were visiting Santa Village on a Saturday and were thinking to go to White Mountain on a Sunday. On Sunday morning we notice that a link from the front end of the was broken. Took the auto to the VIP and we was serve by Nick, the service writer and the technichian AAron. VIP was the only place open on Sunday. Needless to said we were serve quit. They had some others car, but i was with my family so they work on my car so we can enjoy the day. That was in the morning. After a drive from White Mountain we try to go to Mount Washington but the auto over hit going up the mountain. Took it back to VIP and work in my car until they fixed. It took them more than 2 hours because it keep running hot. But they fixed so could it return to Boston that night so the children could it go to school in the morning. Thank to these two person for their devotion to duty and friendly attitude. Needles to said ew got home by 10:00 that night. Nick and Aaron thanks and to let you know i went out and bought me a 2016 Nissan Rogue this week. Keep up the good job, friendly service and an outstanding customer service. On 3/02/25 I gave VIP Gorham NH a 1 star AAA review and said I would never go there again. VIP Gorham tried repeatedly to reach out to me. On 3/10/25 I finally stopped by their garage and talked to Dave. I told him I had misgivings about the instillation of struts and springs on my MINI Cooper. I had broken a spring/strut on Route 16 last November 2025. I have the repairs done on 1/22/25 Gave AAA Review on 3/02/25 Yes it was a very slow burn! At no charge to myself, Dave asked me to bring my MINI Cooper back to the shop on 3/11/25. They put it up on the lift, checked it and cleaned the bolt holes. They replaced 2 bolts with temporary ones and have orders 2 new OEM bolts. When the new bolts come they will install them. I now give them a 5 STAR rating and always go to them for repairs. I will now try to update my AAA review to 5 Stars. I am a member of AAA so I can get up to a $75 discount. I am also a VET so I get the $45 vehicle inspection for free. Thank You Dave and your Team. While on a trip in Newry, Maine my truck began showing the dreaded "wrench" trouble light. The warning said to seek service fast. I was 3 hours from my NH home and a longtime VIP customer, so I contacted the Gorham store. Dan Sidney gave excellent advice on the seriousness of the issue and the risk of impending shutdown. When I arrived at VIP, Dan and his team provided excellent service to diagnose the issues with the transmission and the trouble with shifting. We scored big with getting our service done while we waited, and the parts and fluids were all in stock! Dan pointed out the trouble spots, and provided an estimate that I could understand. I learned a few lessons on trusting the pros at VIP. Within 4 hours, we were on our way back to Maine to finish our tour. SO very thankful to their team on such a bitter cold wintry weekend. Had a flat tire on Saturday 9/16/17 with the help of Vip in Maine they assisted with the spare so that I could get to Berlin NH.Went to Gorham the next morning to make an appointment to have new tire replaced,Staff was very punctual in taking me upon arrival.No waiting.David was very informative in helping me and therefor seeing I was nearly due for an inspection I agreed to have it done then and now.They performed an alignment changed the filters that neede to be changed and I'm glad they did as I had mouse damage to air filter.I'm so pleased with the customer service that was given me and I would recommend them to anyone.You really have a great crew working there in Gorham NH. read more

needed to have winter tires installed so I could make an hour plus trip to a hospital for cancer treatment. procrastinated until there was snow in the forecast. so down to my vip store and what do you think. these guys are awesome. I bought a used jeep liberty. It was having issues , I went to a different mechanic who didn't fix it and wouldn't really tell me what was wrong. I went to VIP where they found the problem fairly quickly and repaired it . There was an issue with the actual part, nothing that they had done and that was also addressed very quickly . They have always been good about explaining and advising on service and have actually always been very fair about price . I wouldn't go anywhere else . read more

Set up appointment to get 4 new tires. Sales rep recommended several options and after making a choice the car was taken right into the garage and got new tires. The technician came into the waiting room and discussed several things that should be taken care besides the tires. Everyone was very pleasant and knowledgeable. It is good to know that other things are checked out when car is in shop. Will certainly take my vehicles back to VIP for service. read more

My original review was removed so I'll post this much shorter review just because this "business" is this bad. Been there twice. First time I got a state inspection. When I got the car back the caps over the bolts for my STEERING COLUMN were missing. NO idea why, don't really want to know why. Second time I had to put the tires on myself in their parking lot when it was 0 degrees out and STILL paid full price. Buyer beware. read more

I called to make an appointment after the first snow of the year to put new tires on my car. At the appointment when i dropped off the car and the tires, they were concerned about the brand of tire that I purchased. They were concerned because of the amounts of snow they we get up here. VIP always uses the correct oil I ask for and not synthetic which I love. I can always call and get an appointment that day or the next, unlike berlin city where I can only get an appointment a week later from the day I call which is pretty annoying and they always check my car out to make sure its running in tip top shape. 10/10 recommend everyone to VIP read more
