When I looked this business up, it was listed as open 24 hours, which is why I drove there. When I arrived, there was nobody at the shop, so I had to call the number listed for the business. The individual who answered told me it would be approximately $260 for someone to come look at my truck because it was "after hours."
What I couldn't understand was how I was being charged an after-hours service fee when the business was listed as open 24 hours and I was already physically at the shop. I wasn't asking for roadside assistance or a tow. I had a low tire that appeared to have a leaking valve, and I had already driven the truck directly to them.
I tried explaining the situation, but there was no flexibility.
