I purchased a full whole house filtration system after my original system died. This company made the process smooth, friendly, and easy to understand. There were no pushy sales pitches and all communication was clear, concise and done at my convenience. I honestly would have gone with them right after the presentation but I was told to look around a bit for other companies. I did...and I was unimpressed. The next company did a 23 minute "presentation" and quoted me double the price of VA Environmental Resources. I nodded and smiled and escorted him out of my house...Then promptly called Joshua and informed him I'd like to move forward with his services. The installation was scheduled for the following week. I was told the water may be off for 4 hours, but it was only off for 2. The gentlemen who showed up for the install were on time, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. Joshua returned a week later to conduct a walk-through with me and show me how the machine worked and encouraged me to use the 24-hour phone number if anything happened and I needed them. I no longer have to use bottled water to fill my dogs' bowls, my skin feels better out of the shower, and I'm already using significantly less soap than before. Excellent!!! Virginia Environmental Resources is such a great company to work with. My elderly parents moved into a home that already had the filtration system installed. Not familiar with this system and a little worried it would be too high tech for my family to get use to. Our very first service call set our minds at ease. Knowing we had a company with great knowledge and top notch service. The team from start to finish has great customer service and they are all so friendly. 10 out of 10 for sure! Jeff took the time to explain the system to us and assure us we were in good hands. We continued to have great experiences with our yearly service and services calls. All with phenomenal customer service. VRE is super attentive and punctual. Fast forward to today. We needed a new unit. The two gentlemen that came in to install were extremely polite, attentive and quick. It was such a seamless process. They were thorough and cleaned up nicely before leaving. If I could give this company a negative stars I would. I bought a system about seven years ago and was dealing with a man named Tim Fry never had never had any issues fast-forward to four years ago started dealing with a gentleman named Jeff. The first incident happened about four years ago, where they came out to clean the system. Our water stopped working the next day. We had to call a plumber. We had our well pump replaced. It still wasn't working. It ended up being a switch on the back of the water softener that they never turned off so over $2,000 later and we missed out on a whole vacation because of it, of course he tried to blame it on anybody else but them, but then said he would give me five years of free service . Then in March 2024 my system stopped working he came out. They needed to order a replacement part and two or three days later I noticed water coming up in between my brand new wood floors right next to the closet where the water softener was. I called Jeff and he came out here and again it was anybody else's fault but there's and keep in mind there water softener is the only thing that is in this closet where it was leaking He was adamant about me signing the paper saying all they were going to be liable for was $1500.00. Little did I know it already had mold going up the walls in that closet but they knew because they were working right there. I texted him told him that it was gonna cost me over $2300 to please make it right he called me like a 100 times trying to get the paper that I signed because he left it at my house .I told him he needed to make it right I never heard from him after that. Now my system again is not working so I called to leave a message. I had a young lady Call me back ( Christy I think) as soon as I said hello she was extremely irate and was saying everything was my fault I don't even know who this lady was. After five minutes of her berating me when I started talking she said, watch your tone and hung up on me. they have a horrible rating on the better Business Bureau. Please go check them out. After doing my research for Water Softners and seeing the benefits, I decided to reach out to several companies to hear about their system and come test my water. I spoke with the standard 3 companies. The first company provided a significantly high price and kind of detered us with getting it. Then I spoke with Jeff who was very friendly and kind. He explained everything to me and provided me an estimate. After discussing it with my fiance, I called Jeff back and he said "welcome to the family". Never felt so loved by a company thats selling something. They were able to schedule me 2 days after signing up. The installers came on time and started right away. They took their time, and asked me to verify where they can install system. They knocked it all out in a couple hours and walked me through everything. Every person I spoke with was very polite and seemed happy with what they do. No one in my family has a season pass and you are now lying about other children which is sick also. I did not in anyway fail to maintain the system at all I have loaded the system every time it was low and it has never once been below HALF WAY in the whole time I owned the system. I never once screamed at anyone in this company and have been screamed at and threatened by this lying person Amy and whoever came out to my house the first time. I have pictures to prove everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I reported this company to every avenue there was to call and write to as to I have to right to be serviced. My next step after this pack of lie is a law suit for deformation of character and calling the New Paper and News Stations to report all of this. My neighbor did not mess with my system, he put the salt in my system (the salt they say I never put in my system) and followed the video they gave me on how to reset the system and it did not reset. It's called doing what I was told to do!!!! Jeff did not show me any video I show him the video I was given and if the system was not set properly then the worker who made the video showing me how to did not video it correctly because it didn't come back on and dirty water has been coming into my house ever since and ruining all my appliances, tubs, toilets, shower curtains our hair and skin!! NO one has tried to text or call me I have my phone records or they again are lying and are using a number i don't know and hanging up on me. The new water system that was installed has been excellent. Jonathan delivered on the promises made. The water eliminated the foul smell of the Water. This has been the best water system I have had. (First and only) I am happy with the System and the soap. The soap smells great and we love it. Also it's all organic and natural so no harsh chemicals. We haven't had to replace the salt in the system yet. Water bill has gone down The water quality has been increased and it's safe to drink. We are very happy with this company and the professional service they provided. We had a RainSoft water system installed which was TERRIBLE...buyers please do not get drawn in with a RainSoft water system; my skin would break out constantly and we had so much bacteria in our water. Hague (Virginia Environmental Resources) installed a premium water system that cleared all the bacteria, iron, calcium and sulfur from our water! We can drink our water for the first time in 14 years thanks specifically to Jeff B! He is absolutely the most honest person in this business. He will work with you through the entire process and knows everything about what 'quality water' should be!! Extremely rude staff. Will not recommend to anyone to work with this company. Sales guy was sweet and professional, and that where good experience ended. I called to ask few questions prior to the installation, the guy on the phone by the name Justine was very rude. After I asked him why their services are so overpriced he got irate, and hang up on me. Anyone who wants whole house water softening system, stay away from this dealer. Here is why: 1. They are overpriced. Local companies offer systems installed for $2500 which is more than twice cheaper. 2. They offer limited warranty. Other Local companies offer life time warranty. 3. I thought I reviewed them after getting the install completed last year but I just checked and I didn't. So here goes. This review is less about the product and more about the company. It's a water conditioner and it does its job, very well. The people that work here firmly believe in their product and I have had nothing but the best service with them! The salesman, Jonathan, was VERY knowledgeable and made sure we were extremely comfortable with the system and even washed our shower enclosure to show us how good of a job the system does with cleaning water. I think he spent a couple hours with us (at our behest) to completely make sure we understood the system and what it does. The installers, Jeff and Daniel were AMAZING! They disconnected our prior water treatment (it didn't do a good job at all) and Jeff even rearranged my shed so he could store it there for us. They were both amazing, very respectful and very professional installers. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people. The questions and escalation. We did have some questions and concerns about the system and whether we understood Jonathan correct or not and as a result another Jeff came out. He's the owner of the company. He was just as polite and respectful as everyone else. He spent time with us, answered our questions and made sure we were comfortable with the test results of the system.
