We had a disappointing experience with this vendor. We hired them to do a deep clean. Most of the work was fine, but they broke a hamper (I have no idea how as the legs were made of metal) and did not report it to me. My husband contacted them for some kind of remedy and they said they would "get back to us" and never did. We also purchased the oven cleaning as part of the service. They did not thoroughly clean out all of the oven cleaner, leaving residual chemicals in the oven. We didn't even bother to report this after the indifference about the hamper. The total for the deep clean for our three story home was $495 and we were very disappointed with them. Do not recommend. read more

We use Virginia Housekeeping for a semi-monthly cleaning of our house. They do a fantastic job. Whenever we come home after a cleaning day, the house is immaculate. My wife loves their service because they clean the tiled shower floors in the master bath and kids tub. I've heard when hiring cleaners, they always do a great job for the first cleaning, but the quality gradually slides as times passes, However, we've been using them for the last few years, and every time they come, it feels like a new house. They typically spend about three hours at our house at $200 a pop. We don't get the service every month, but I think it's a good value when you want your house to feel fresh and clean. read more

I requested a deep clean because I recently had a baby and don't have the energy. I will preface by saying I am OCD when it comes to house cleaning and it's difficult for me to find someone who cleans to my standards. These people are nice, however, there were areas with dust remaining (night stands, the floor behind the nightstand, shelves in den). Some of the light switches had a little dirt remaining in the "off" word within the switch. Areas that were wiped had towel residue or wipe/water marks (which is a pet peeve). The master bath drain didn't appear to be clean. The master shower didn't look much cleaner than before they cleaned it. In the online intake, I requested they not mop the floor, they mopped (which is not a big deal). The faucets with wipe marks also had green residue remaining in the crevices. I also expect faucets to be thoroughly cleaned meaning even under where the faucet knobs sit when turned off. Barstool and chair legs should be wiped, doors along with the knobs. They did clean window sills and baseboards but that's not all a deep clean entails. I did request green products and paid extra for it but green products doesn't mean "less clean." I have a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom house, they worked room by room professionally cleaning from top to bottom. They moved swiftly throughout the two stories making sure nothing was missed. They have a very detailed website and I like how thorough their contact form is so you can get a good estimate right away without constant back and forth. Eric handled the emails, was quick to respond, and he was very detailed with the price breakdowns and process. They had appointments as early as the next day! We Contacted Eric for a quote on a Friday and he sent over two of his employees on Sunday - very fast turnaround. They arrived at the exact time they said they would. We went for the Deep Clean and they did an amazing job, getting every little thing in the house cleaned up. The house is completely transformed! Hired Virginia house keepers to clean my 3 level TH. My main concern was vacuuming my carpets and cleaning hardwood floors. I don't have children or pets. After using them for about a year the work became shoddy. I contacted them several times with my concerns but it never did any good. Even sent photos. The last time they came the women did not vacuum all of the rugs and they left my back door and front door unlocked!! That was it for me. I contacted them with a detailed email laying out my concerns. Eric emailed and offered to give me a refund. I emailed him and accepted his offer to refund my money. Then he started hedging saying he wanted to talk over the phone. I like everything in writing so I requested email only. Then he wanted me to send a "bulleted list" of my concerns. I pointed out to him that I'd already emailed a detailed list of my concerns, and I would like the refund. I am still waiting for the refund. Another concern I should mention - the website says they always send 2 people. Not true. One time I got home a few minutes early and I saw that there was only one worker who came out of my TH. I came home from work to a very nice, clean apartment. My carpet was cleaned and left with those nice vacuum lines. My hardwood floors looked like new. I hired the service for monthly cleaning. They did an ok job when they did the initial cleaning. The second time they came I noticed they missed wiping down banisters and chair rails. I have a three-story townhome and yesterday they came and said they cleaned the whole house within one hour and thirty minutes. I call Eric the coordinator for my service and he told me that there were three people and that why they got done so fast. When I got home as I walked up the step to the middle floor I could see that the wood floors weren't mopped and shined, the kitchen floor looks like it was washed with a dirty mop, and baseboards weren't touched at all. The kitchen looked like my 74-year-old husband cleaned it and the list goes on. When I contacted Eric with my list of complaints and to cancel the service because it was unacceptable. His exact comments," Sorry to hear that Debra - we are more than happy to address any concerns you have, but it sounds like you have made up your mind so I will remove you from the schedule Best of luck and stay safe - sorry things didn't work out. WTF. I spent $150.00 for nothing. My boss who owned her own cleaning service years ago said she should have at least had people come back to reclean and make it right.
