Unprofessionalism I was given a "stress test" which consisted of me walking back and forth down an empty office for six minutes. Suffice to say I expected a bit more in a medical center. I was finally abruptly given an inhaler to utilizer, but the assistant neglected to inform me that it was a powder base (gagging reflex) nor that the units were $700. I was told that I would be contacted in two weeks to insure the modification was beneficial. No call, email or message. Never again. .

No one answers at their end and they disconnect the call. No email to send a complaint to. Doesn't matter what department you try to reach, always have to request a call back and don't get one. My last appointment was supposed to be telemed. Confirmed that 6 months prior to appt. the day of the appoint (2 hour advance notice) they send me an email it's not telemed, I have to report to their office. I haven't been able to reach them since. Worse customer service for a dr's office you could possibly get.

I'm sticking with the five stars for my review based solely on the quality of care and professionalism I receive from the daytime staff. My sleep study itself wasn't great due to a problematic tech. I filed a grievance and VCU has addressed it, so I removed my lengthy review detailing the sadistic tech & malfunctioning light sensor. Despite the shortcomings of my overnight tech, Dr. Santos was able to interpret my study and help me with some solutions. My attitude is "all's well that ends well" so if I'm really on the road to recovery from five years of sleep deprivation/insomnia, I can forgive the bumps in the road of this journey.

They were not able to issue the monitoring equipment to me that day because of some insurance paperwork. They finally called me 2 weeks later to pickup the equipment. Before I could pickup the equipment, I received a bill for the first office visit. They charged the insurance company for a level 4 office visit equaling $489 and I was responsible for $202. For only a 15 minute appointment that provided me no new information? So I have decided not to pickup the equipment due to the extreme charges.
