But we did discuss perhaps occupational therapy to help her with feeding for future development. So we booked a few feeding OT sessions with Nadia and my daughter was in love with her from day 1. She was kind, patient and instantly connected with our daughter in trying to pin point the best way to encourage her to open up on how she interacts with food. Would highly recommend.

On recommendation of our dentist, we tried some videos to help him with speech, but we were not successful on our own. After a Zoom call with Ariel and Ahmad, the speech therapist, we felt very confident and comfortable with Fairfax Pediatric Therapy. After the first session, my son made huge strides in his "sh" sounds - he was actually able to articulate it correctly, even if it was a struggle. Long story short, as of today (3 months after starting) Finn has met all of his speech goals and no longer needs the services. Both Ahmad and Finn worked hard to make this happen - and in such a short time. I didn't expect progress so fast, to be honest. Not only that - my kiddo actually looked forward to the sessions. Ahmad took the time to get to know his interests - chess and strategy games - and built the sessions around play. When we left today, for the last time, Finn said he was going to miss his friend. I could not be more pleased with the attention to detail of the providers, feedback to me the parent after each visit, and the progress that my kids have made. Kate is working RPM in conjunction with a home program for one of my boys and we are amazed each week by what he knows and most importantly, that he can now have a way to show us. Denise maintains phenomenal instructional control and works specifics for fine motor improvement, spacial awareness, hand eye coordination etc. I also love that she will try new things to elicit a new response to similar stimuli. She's always thinking of new ways to achieve results. I find the therapists to be "real people", knowledgeable in their trade, professional, and loving towards kids. The atmosphere is another plus. It's a welcoming Center with a waiting room that would put other center's to shame. There are tables to work at your computer, things to keep your other kids occupied and there is also a huge play room with ball pit, trampoline and swings available. The owner knows the world well and lives it daily. That is why she makes every effort to make the experience a great one for not only the kids, yet the families and caregivers who are present also. My daughter looked forward to her therapy each week and still asks when we can have Kelli come back. In addition to the in-person therapy, Kelli also provided us with fun exercises we could do on our own to supplement our learning and she also provided me support when working through an IEP re-evaluation. Under one roof, the Driver Rehabilitation Center for Excellence (DRCE) will do a full driving evaluation of someone who is disabled but wants the freedom and mobility of driving restored to their life. DRCE provides a comprehensive program to evaluate whether the person is capable of driving, designs a system to get them back on the road and modifies vehicles in their state of the art shop to accommodate special needs. In the past therapists working with the disabled and vehicle modifiers adapting vehicles for the disabled worked in different silos and talked past one another. DRCE integrates the entire process. Not only does DRCE service wounded warriors and other disabled persons wishing to get back on the road, they also provide independent driver evaluations for senior citizens. In my case, my wife and I wanted to provide other family members assurance that a senior family member was still capable of driving locally to familiar locations during the day. DRCE put this senior family member through a series of mental agility, coordination and on the road evaluations then delivered a comprehensive report on this persons ability to drive. The two co-founders, Josh and Tammy, are on site you work with them during the evaluation. Highly recommended for anyone who is disabled and wants to drive again or who wants to evaluate the driving capabilities of a senior family member.

I've been meaning to write this review since we started seeing Najwa. Najwa is an amazing and…read morehighly skilled certified hand therapist (CHT). Not only is she an expert at healing physical hand injuries, but she provides such encompassing care. Her personality and the way she cares for each patient provides mental and emotional support that accompanies physical injuries to help patients have positive outcomes. She builds such positive rapport with all of her patients. You almost don't want to stop therapy because it's such a pleasure to come here to work with her. Sidney provides wonderful support, as well. They work very well together to provide the best possible care for patients. The other employees are also very welcoming to all patients, even if they don't work with them. They ask patients if they can get them anything to make them more comfortable and they have even gotten to know us because of how this office works together. This review is based on Najwa's care only. Unfortunately, she was suddenly let go from this company for a business decision and they made no changes to the schedule to accommodate double booking. I have cancelled all future appointments. It was devastating to hear they let her go and every patient coming in today is really upset about it. They have a steady stream of patients with hand injuries so it's shocking that they are not going to have a CHT.
