My first year living in this apartment complex was wonderful, and I had no complaints at all. However, during my second year, the experience has completely changed. It seems like there is a new issue almost every day, and considering how expensive these apartments are, the number of ongoing problems is unacceptable. The office staff is another concern. Instead of providing solutions, they are often unhelpful and sometimes rude. They do not clearly explain policies or procedures, and the terms and conditions seem to change frequently, even though I originally signed a different lease agreement. There are also too many rules and restrictions. While some neighbors are very friendly and respectful, others are rude and inconsiderate. It is common to hear arguments and disturbances throughout the community. Although the property is attractive and generally well maintained, there are still issues such as cigarette smoke odors, despite smoking not being allowed. Another major inconvenience is the guest parking policy. Residents often need permits for visitors, and when the office is closed, it can be impossible to obtain one. This creates constant concern that a guest's vehicle may be towed. Overall, while the complex is beautiful and clean, my experience during this second year has been very disappointing, and I would not recommend it based on the management and ongoing issues. read more

I lived at Viridian for 6 years staring in late 2019. At first things were great.....and then a new management company took over. It would be too long to get into, so I will just list the pros and mostly cons. Also, management seems to be offering incentives for positive reviews. As you can see, most of the "5 Star" reviews have no details written, how odd. AVOID AVOID AVOID THIS COMPLEX. cons: They do not require a security deposit because they are going to charge you for EVERYTHING Cheaply built, wall is crumbling due to building leaning in the wind Cheap appliances, dishwasher broke twice, dryer is terrible $1300+ for a 1 bedroom, under 600sqft. Rent has been increasing for the last 3 years, but no improvements to property have been made Dog poop on every piece of grass all over property and in dog park and sometimes on sidewalks Gates are constantly breaking and not working, cars have been stolen and from the parking lot. As of writing this the front gates have been broken for a month with no update from staff. Mail gets stolen from mail room and from your front door The property has fallen into general disrepair, sprinklers leaking, dog park fountains torn apart, trash everywhere in hallways, parking lots and on the stairs. Walls are thin and people love to slam their doors at all hours Gym only has half of the machines working Pool is gross and not kept up Stray animals in abundance, I was bitten by a stray on the property and had to get a rabies vaccine. Yes, I did let the complex know about this, no, nothing was done about it Valet trash service will randomly not take trash from hallway, even if its not a scheduled holiday, it's also not optional, you must pay an extra $30 a month for this There is only 1 dumpster on the property that breaks frequently, so trashed will be piled up for days They understaff so office is not reliable for in person visits The office staff will not answer the phone and there is no option to leave a message half the time I personally witnessed the manager April ignore the phones while the other girl was taking all the calls pros: HEB is down the street Maintenance people are timely and polite read more

I have lived in this apartment complex for two years and want to share some experiences. First, the security here is very poor. There have been several incidents of car break-ins and package thefts. Recently, my package was stolen. Security cameras only cover the first floor, leaving the upper floors unprotected. Additionally, the front gates were left open for over a month, allowing anyone to enter. Second, maintenance is subpar. I rented a garage with many door issues, which made me late for work on several occasions. They just changed the battery in my garage key until, after a year, they finally moved me to another garage. My apartment door frame was bent, leading to rodent problems that took months to fix. Third, assistance is often hard to reach. I have called many times for issues like noise complaints and emergency maintenance, but the contact number doesn't work, and there is no response to voicemails. Despite the low rent and good commute, I would give this place one star. I am relieved to leave. I hope the management improves or gets replaced. read more

I just moved here 6 months ago and management has been a battle to deal with. I am currently dealing with a pet violation they immediately charged to my account for leaving my cattle dog chilling on the balcony for hour and a half while I took a meeting literally on the other side of the wall. saying that by the lease I needed to have my dog with a leash and supervise at all times while in my private balcony or patio. Have you ever heard that from other apartments complexes? I have not! Its unreasonable, I have never had any problems or big issues with any other apartments in San Antonio and never had management be so combative. They are super nice in the beginning and once you sign your lease it changes. The place is pretty and clean but I would not move or renew here again as long as the office staff is the same. I was scheduled for a tour and received an email confirming the time. When I arrived all the doors were locked and I was supposed to download an app to do a self tour which asked me to provide my card information which I did to do the tour. Then the key lock they had was out of order. While I was there waiting for my tour other tenants were knocking on the doors angrily because the mail room was broken into and everyone's mail was scattered everywhere. I think called and a lady was no help because she was "in a meeting" then why answer your phone if your meeting is important? The apartments look nice and i'm sure they are but management and touring was a mess and so unorganized that I just left. I wouldn't even want to be a part of this community. Jennifer one of the leasing specialist has been amazing ever since we made contact. Very nice, professional, and efficient. Been great working with her not just with signing my lease but also taking care of questions and taking work orders during the duration I have been here. I truly appreciate it! Property service techs have also been amazing. Always quick and efficient with completing any work orders/ replacing the filters. ***During the winter storm when power went out through-out Texas the service crew went above and beyond for the tenants. Most people were able to get in their vehicles to warm up but not me due to being parked in a garage and couldn't open due to the power being out. While everyone was staying home and not risking it on the icy roads this gentleman came to the property to unlock the garages for individuals who couldn't get in. He was truly a blessing in a time of need. Not only did he do this but also examined the living units when we got back to normal and made sure repairs were made for people who needed it. They also checked on people making sure the residence were safe and no one needed medical attention. The provided services for after the storm and offered fresh drinking water for people who didn't have access. The integrity of the staff at this location is outstanding. When I have to move to Austin for work I can guarantee you I will be moving into another NRP Group locations. I'm living in San Antonio for a year for a training program for work. I found this location and moved in. I really enjoy living here. Clean property, friendly staff, the interior and exterior of the units are nice. Parking is never an issue and adding a garage to your rental is totally worth it. The garage has a lot of room so you can park your car and store items in there as well. The community is gated and I feel safe on property. Its right near an HEB and Walmart. If you have to take a bus there is a bus stop only 2-3 minutes away. The I-10 is very easy to get to for your morning commute and traffic is not bad at all compared to Chicago or Austin. They also have a buffalo wild wings to-go location right down the street!
