I cannot say enough about this fantastic group. Dr. Jain replaced both of my knees in 2013 and since then I have celebrated with freedom of movement I haven't had in 20 years!! Recently, after years of pain and discomfort, Dr. Raimondo successfully reconstructed my left foot. However prior to the surgery, I had complications with my pre-op testing. If. I could give zero stars I would. On my last time seeing him(bernardini), I kept telling him how much pain I'm in from standing all night at work. That my legs keeps swelling. All I did was ask for a doctors note to take to work so I can sit down when needed. He kept tellin me no. I then told him how I'm in pain and that isn't doctors supposed to fix people's pain? He got mad and referred to out of the office. The office won't see me as a patient now. All because the doctor wasn't competent enough to do his job. All I did was ask for a doctors note to sit down. I would never recommend anyone to this facility. They did 3 surgeries on me in one year (unethical) and almost killed me on the third. I am permanently crippled now. After the third surgery that almost killed me, I was told I was a high risk patient and Dr. Jain would not ever treat me again. He's the one who destroyed my life and crippled me forever. I certainly wasn't a high risk until they made me that way. I suffer kidney, heart, pain and cognitive problems from the last surgery. I'm heading for a wheelchair now and a possible foot amputation. read more

Only reason Dr. Schofeit still has a med license, because you can't sue him under Obamacare. My leg swelled up 12hrs after surgery, his office refused to see me, told me to go to emergency room where I was told "We aren't touching this butchers work". My leg never worked correctly afterwards and I still have issues with swelling and walking. I'll complain about the terrible billing in another post. read more

I am not impressed with Reconstructive Orthopedics for a couple reasons. I had a very bad experience with Dr Porat who was disrespectful, didn't even examine me, but wanted to do a hip replacement just from looking at my MRI and even though my symptoms were at odds with some of those related to hip arthritis (like numbness down the leg). Thankfully, another doctor accurately diagnosed the pain as a spinal pinched nerve that runs down the hip (so a back injury, not hip). The practice also seems to push a lot of their expensive services and in-person visits, the latter which cost about $130 per visit, even just to let me know my MRI results. Rothman, on the other hand, will call with test results at no charge. And, Rothman said someone like me with only moderate hip arthritis was not even a hip replacement candidate! With my insurer, Horizon, visits with Rothman doctors are even less than at Reconstructive Orthopedics. Not surprisingly, I will not be going back to Reconstructive even though their Moorestown office is conveniently located a mile from my home. read more

I have had 2 knee replacement surgeries with Dr. Klingenstein of Reconstructive Orthopaedics. He took his, fully explained both procedures, was always available for consult pre and post op! I have sent several friends who all had a similar experience. Virtua Joint Replacement facility was nothing short of excellent! Tremendous care! read more

In the end you may end up going to Reconstructive and having them do your surgeries, pain management, etc. However, I advise that you get a second opinion, and see how both places treat you as a potential patient. Their business model is horrid! This is medical care, but in reality, they are a corporation - out to make a profit. Always be aware of this going in. A family member was scheduled to have surgery, went through all the testing, blood work, PCP clearance, scheduled off work, made arrangements with services for around the house care, service contract for snow removal (just in case the weather turns) On final visit prior to surgery, elected to go another hospital and start all of this all over again. That's why I say get the second opinion. Although they may be capable enough, the question became - "Why do I not feel comfortable when I come to visit each and every time". The front desk staff are not helpful with filling out the computerized questionnaire - they're hard to read. It's not like the people that come for this surgery are in their 20's. I'm helping other potential patients fill out this darn thing as I'm younger. There they sit on their phones just talking amongst themselves...The florescent lights cause a glare and the screens are small. If you take too long filling out the 5-8 section questionnaire, the PA staff are constantly coming out. They get edgy as I'm sure their schedule backs up. So by then you're even more nervous. You're there because you're in pain, it's not a cold,this is serious surgery based on the packet they give you. Which you need to read, but Recon here's a clue - people are nervous when they come to see you. I digress... (If you read their job applications - the PD states - little to no overtime which is why the PAs are so stressed). 3 patients that take an extra 10 minutes - knocks you back 30, 4-40 and by 6 you're down a whole hour of the work day - So ask yourself, how are they going to make up that time? No one comes from behind the desk to walk around and ask patients how they're doing with their paperwork.* These are the staff that put a face on this corporation. It was decided that if this was the best that they had to offer, we'd better go someplace else and quick. Other organizations, once they have your information, they have it. You may have to do a quick update or a mandatory in-depth check prior to surgery (which is great and understandable), but not this over and over and over and over and over again. Every single time you go to this place you fill out a computerized questionnaire. And why would that be? - They want to limit their liability. If you make a mistake on one of these questions - well you did it! Initially, it was not clear why they ask about "sexual abuse" however, I see below from another review it's an added up charge for an evaluation - We started asking and thinking "why are they doing this? Do they have hidden suit issues and lawyers told them how to get around it? * A technician did come from around the desk to ask me if we had any paperwork from 12 years ago based on how the digital response was filled out. Again, trying to limit their liability, but from what? It put SERIOUS DOUBT in our minds about the surgeon. With 2 knee surgeries required and another family member with a slight back issue that was being treated, we made a choice to go someplace else for everything as we are able to do so. Nope - didn't mention the doctor - only saw once for 15 minutes. read more

I was referred to this practice by my GP for a lower back issue that is causing constant severe pain. I first met with one of the orthopedic surgeons who then set me up with an appointment with the pain management Doctor. Neither had a fix for my back condition. The pain management Doctor basically told me he didn't think the shots would work for me so I was sent back to the orthopedic surgeon who gave me medicine to relieve the pain but no other options on what to do to fix it. After two months of medicine refills, I was told I had to return to the office to be re-evaluated. At this appointment, I was told they couldn't help me and gave me a referral to another doctor. No explanation, no other treatment options....I wasn't a candidate for surgery or shots so they dumped me. I have never been treated this badly before by a physician. I took the medication as prescribed and asked if this was the only option for me a few times and was told nothing. And my final appointment wasn't even with one of the doctors it was with the physicians assistant, Cynthia Nossen, and she was incredibly rude and condescending. read more

first of all the name should be a red flag. doctor could not diagnose an obvious injury. i had a complete collateral ligament tear in my right thumb. doctor tried to tell me it was a bad sprain. i told him his wrong. just went there to get an mri prescription. had to beg for it. never sent it to radiologist. delayed my mri one week and had to postpone my appointment at the rothman inst. dr. pedro beriglikian is the best. billed my $175.00 for a hand brace that i could by in walmart for $14.00. stay away from this place. this place is all business and poor medicine. read more

I went to Reconstructive Orthopedics in Bordentown. By far this was the worst facility I have ever been too. Each visit I waited at least an hour before even being seen by the Dr. Then I waited almost 20 more minutes before the Dr. even came in the room. However, this was not the least of my worries. I had a sling on my arm for my injured shoulder that the hospital had given me. I asked if I could have a different one since the hospital one was a little uncomfortable. The nurse said sure you can take this one. There was no mention of any charge. Then when I got my bill, I was charged over $300 for a sling you can buy at Walgreens for $20. My insurance wouldn't cover the whole bill which left me with a $104 balance. When I tried to explain this to the rude lady in the billing department she basically didn't care at all. They were not willing to work with me at all. It was simple, pay the bill or it goes to collections. Warning please stay clear of this place. They will make you wait forever and then charge you out the ass. read more
