I stayed here and was severely abused, attacked, and threatened. When the owner kept yelling at me every time I spoke with him, and he realized I was not going to allow his abuse he made a woman there who he was supplying drugs to the manager position he was offering me. She was supplying the owner with sex and he was providing her with drugs according to the manager there , and I was physically attacked by her the night before they kicked me out. The police came and I filed a report, but did not press charges. The next morning I awoke after I had just given a check to him, and the veterans had sent me a supply of food and toiletries. When I awoke he and the girl that attacked me kicked me out and told me I had 10 minutes, and would not allow me to get any of my supplies from the veterans, and he would not give me my check back. He is only supposed to have 19 people in the house and there were over 50 people. After I was kicked out the manager came to me and showed me newspaper clippings of him being the head of a white supremacist group, and having 15 charges of sexual assault for the women in his vision house. The manager told me that he was supposed to have only two women in a room and charge 155, but instead of giving the women some sort of protection he charged them $185. I had just gotten a job when I started there and couldn't afford the 185, so for 155 he made me stay in the living room with at least 10 men that were homeless, and on drugs, or coming down from drugs. I had never been so scared in my life. There is no classes there, or any program related to sobriety. The manager told me that he targets women and black men, and many of them pay him weeks in advance, and as soon as they get food or supplies delivered the owner surprises them with the drug test after the manager himself supplies everybody with free marijuana. Telling us that the marijuana is okay, and that alcohol and other drugs are the only things are worried about. The manager told me they do this, and they know that when they surprise them with the drug test they will all fail so the owner has the right to kick them out, and keep their money and all the supplies that were delivered. The manager acted like he was my friend, but he proceeded to try to attack me, erase all the pictures and recordings I had on my phone, and stoled $400 from me, but when the manager got drunk one night he pretty much admitted that he was a white supremacist too. He told me that he and the owner came up with the plan for the women to have to pay for protection by charging them $185 instead of 155, and putting them in a room of four women instead of the rooms being maxed out with two people. He tried to hire me as manager, but started to abuse me and yell at me. When I shot back at him he sent me a few texts to harass me, and had his female manager who he is providing drugs to in response for her sexual favors to attack me physically, and I had to call the police who filed a report. But I did not press charges on her. The next morning after I had paid him my check, and after I got my food delivered and had to go to work, they told me I had 10 minutes to leave and was being kicked out, and would not allow me to get my food or supplies that were just delivered. This is not a sobriety house, and it is a complete scam. The owner called the police on many people that were staying there after they paid him a month in advance, and at least three people were arrested while I was there after paying him. I don't understand how this place is still running, and how nobody has done anything to shut this man down. I hope that someone will plea do something about the situation. I was terribly abused, and threatened their. If you are black or a woman please do not go to this place. If you really want to be sober, this is not a sobriety house. hi, my name is Antonio and I recently was coming from another state. I called and the house manager didn't distinguish any rules or any disqualifications just asked me a few questions and then took my money. I called back letting him know that I also have a medical marijuana card he did not say anything about that being a problem in the conversation before he took my money and then when I call him to tell him he says that he tried to refund my money but didn't send variable proof that it was even sent back sent half a picture. $190 gone told me I have to wait six months or it has to go back on the app it has to go back to calling me fraud and telling me that something was weird with my app. I'm pretty sure he's played the same game with other people so I plan to go back and give him my cash app physically now that I'm here and get a refund I will be changing my review pending to see if I have problems getting my money back as to. I know that you can be on Suboxone or whatever here but you can't have a medical marijuana card. I don't understand the sober living houses as I've done extensive reviews on plenty of sober living houses. This guy is struggling for money and ripping people off. read more

I was shocked by the filth, lack of rules, lack of respect and dishonesty that is occurring at this so-called "Sober Living House". Not only was my son's food stolen ... food marked with his name on it, but also the fact that the director took my son's medications for his personal use. This place was filthy dirty! If you are trying to live a sober life, well, this place would push you right back out on the streets. The director has no control over what occurs at this facility and the conditions are deplorable! I found Vision House to be a great place of support if you're serious about getting sober. I stayed there for about 7 months & have been sober ever since. Because I lived there so long, I can tell when I read the bad reviews that the people that are writing them are usually the people that got kicked out for using or drinking. If you relapse, you can't blame anyone else but yourself. I personally know many people that got their start in sobriety at Vision House. For me, when I tried getting sober living alone in my apartment, I kept relapsing. Vision House gave me the foundation & the structure that I needed to attain the sobriety that I have today. So my son was kicked out of there due to somebody spitting in his face and my son punched him in the face the manager on duty told my son to leave all of his stuff at that house and he could come back and get it now Mike the owner says that he has nothing there I will say that house is full of drugs that I do know for sure because my son was using drugs with every resident in that house I will be calling the health department on that house I will be calling the police to get that house rated so Mike and everybody else in that house better be careful And if you're really trying to work a real program please don't go to that house there is nothing but drug attic's there read more

I checked out some other places before I decided on Vision House. I met with the owner first before I moved in and I liked his management style. He seemed sincere about wanting to help. I told him that I was just starting a new job so money was tight and he said don't worry about groceries till you get on your feet. He showed me a very well-stocked kitchen and said I was welcome to whatever I wanted. Vision House gave me the start I needed and gave me hope when I didn't have much. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice & supportive everyone was. Sobriety is a must & they had my there as well. What I really enjoyed was the independence I retained while still enjoying living in a community of people. No overbearing house manager telling you what to do or watching your every move. I am very grateful to Vision House as I was ready to give up. My girlfriend told me about this place. I was a little nervous about going there at first but after talking with the owner, I felt comfortable. He gave me a feeling of hope that I really could change. My stay at Vision House was successful. I went there to get help with my sobriety and I have stayed sober since I left there. Since I work from home I was a little concerned if it would be quiet enough during the day. I had no problem at all as it was peaceful and quiet. Every person who has been there has been bitten by bed bugs. More recently there was also a issue with rats. The owner is a bully and rather you just pay your fee and shut up. People will steal your food and belongings and nothing is done about it. House rules are a joke. Racism is allowed. The owner has ties with a white supremacist political party. He can act like he likes you.. but socially he does not people very well. read more

Nice place. I like the way they do random drug testing, helps keep the place running smoothly. The food donations help a lot too. The first time I saw somebody get discharged for not keeping their area clean I thought it was extreme, until I saw the pig pen the person created. read more
