I don't usually write reviews but this is one of those life changing experiences that i have to…read morerave about! I searched for 7-8 months for mental health and addiction rehab. Always running into issues because of insurance. I found virtue totally by chance and i have to say this place has been a blessing, i suffer from alcoholism, acute psychosis, and severe depression. I checked in new years eve and immediately was received and treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Hard to believe this is a rehab. A wonderful woman named Kim kept watchful eye of me during my initial detox period and made sure i was ok (i cant even remember the first 4 days here). Every client or patient has a private room in a villa. The rooms could compete with the finest hotels honestly. All me meals are prepared by chefs and if you don't want whats on the menu tonight you simply ask and they'll prepare a special meal to accommodate you. From morning til night our days are full from group meetings to therapy sessions i really felt occupied in a really positive way. The WHOLE staff here is so completely engaged and caring, ask for anything within reason and they make it happen, no waiting hours for someone who doesn't know your name or care to come assist you. These people are top notch from the techs that make everything run smoothly to the amazing nurses and wonderful chef and staff literally i have no bad things to say. If you or a loved one suffers from mental health disorders or addiction i would recommend this place wholeheartedly. Getting the help i needed here was truly a blessing. They even handle your aftercare such as outpatient services to ensure you continue receiving care after you leave inpatient care. I was worried about after i left but my caseworker Kamisha made sure my transition back into the real world was seamless and stress free. I have to give a special note of appreciation to my therapist Stephen he was integral in my recovery. Truly educated, calm, and concerned about me. Part of me honestly didn't want to leave because i felt so safe here. But like every other patient here from all walks of life, i had to reintegrate back into the outside world and go and be a better dad, a better business owner, and a healthier me ready to take on the world.

Every person my daughter worked with treated her with respect and genuine compassion, and she truly loved going and building relationships with the team. The daily sessions were especially helpful. They focused on giving kids practical life skills and tools to better understand and manage their behaviors. We saw real growth in emotional awareness and coping strategies. One thing I think is important for parents to understand is that this environment brings together some of the most fragile kids in our community. At times, sensitive topics are discussed, and children can occasionally pick up behaviors or traits from one another. That said, the facility felt very safe, even during moments when kids were angry or escalated. The staff handled those situations calmly and professionally. As good as Healthy Minds is, a lot of the healing truly starts at home. Their family counseling option is a valuable part of the program, and I would encourage families to take advantage of it. They helped me in so many ways, even just having an open conversation when you're feeling lonely. Thank you for always keeping me comfortable when I wasn't feeling my best. I just loved everyone so much. All the staff Kathy, Brian,Christian,Kierra, and Latoya helped me w all our one on one talks either on our outings or when I couldn't sleep. You get a professional chef, Jen! She makes so many special goodies, and her presentation makes you feel like you're in a 5-star hotel. Carolina, with the help of all these other beautiful souls, saved my life. My counseling sessions made me love me, and now I know how to deal w things in my life instead of laughing everything off and thinking it's no big deal. We had art therapy and music therapy, which was my fav, yoga, fitness class, speakers, Dr. B who specializes in the brain and addiction, option to go to church, and all kinds of fun outings. Like the river,karaoke, farmers mrkt, and or just Walmart. The home itself is beautiful they only have 10ppl at a time, so you get the care you deserve, unlike a lot of other places. My room had a large walk-in shower and jacuzzi bath. Wrap around balcony, and they have a pool, basketball hoop, pool table, horseshoe, and cornhole. Thank you to the Dr's, too. The staff was kind, caring, and extremely helpful. I was provided with a great amount of education on trauma and how it impacts substance use, the parts of the brain that are impacted by trauma and substance use, anger, depression, emotion regulation, mindfulness, and how to communicate assertively. What really makes this place great is that there are no more than 10 clients, and it is more personalized with more one-on-one counseling and in-depth process groups. Lastly, the food is amazing. Both chefs put a lot of love and effort in preparing healthy meals and snacks. This has been the most effective treatment program that I have been through, and I highly recommend it to others. I am going on 6 months of sobriety as write this review.
