Los Angeles is a city where dreams come true. In this case, getting the opportunity to tour a high-rise luxury apartment in one of America's finest cities was an absolute honor and privilege. Since my lady works in the property management field, we were given a full-on tour of "Vision on Wilshire" thanks to the folks at UDR Apartments who made this all possible. Located directly on the corner of Wilshire Blvd. and S. Crescent Heights Blvd. in the Beverly Grove neighborhood of Los Angeles, "Vision on Wilshire" opened its doors during the spring of 2018. We ended up meeting with Olga, the Assistant Community Director of this property. The lobby itself looked more like a luxury hotel than an actual apartment. This is the floor that includes a 24-hour concierge, espresso bar (with a high-end Nespresso machine), and the offices where the managers conduct business. I will have to say that this place sells itself. It is absolutely phenomenal and the amenities are bar none some of the best I've ever seen in my life. This includes a full-on clubhouse, conference rooms, fitness center (with state-of-the-art gym equipment), a massage table, electric car charging stations, and lower garage parking. Additionally, this is a pet friendly community that allows cats and most dog breeds. You also have the option of renting a furnished or unfurnished apartment home. What really sets Vision on Wilshire away from its competition is their dynamic rooftop pool. Olga mentioned to us that this is one of only a couple high rise apartments in all of Los Angeles that offers a rooftop pool. And even better is that this is offered 24 hours a day! Residents also gain full access to a jacuzzi, private cabanas, and even gas grills for cooking your meals on the roof. As far as the apartments itself, every apartment home is prewired with high speed internet. You also receive a top-of-the-line gas range, quartz countertops, full-size stackable washer/dryer, glass backsplash, hardwood floors, a walk-in closet, USB outlets (for your phone, tablet, laptop), keyless entry, Bluetooth enabled thermostat, and even a wine cooler! Oh, and did I mention that you get a patio/balcony with some of the most amazing views of the Hollywood Hills? The lease terms are very flexible as you can lease from a little as one month or as much as one year. As far as the prices, studios start at $3200, 1-bedrooms from $4,300/mo, 2-bedrooms from $6,700/mo, and 3-bedrooms/penthouses that range from $8,000-$12,000/mo. These prices change dramatically depending on the housing market. Do keep in mind that the deposits range from $500-$2500, pet rent is $75/mo, and parking in the underground structure ranges from $250-$400/mo. If much of what I mentioned fits your needs and budget, I would definitely recommend checking "Vision on Wilshire" out. It screams luxury all over it and is in my humble opinion, one of (if not) the finest high-rise apartments I have ever stepped into. LA has thousands of options when it comes to housing; this to me ranks as one of the best. My rating based on the service and entire experience from visiting here, a perfect five stars. read more

Dec 31- applied and paid $400 * Jan 7- denied * Jan 19 - check supposedly issued (wrong address) * Feb 1 - address corrected * Mar 6 - still no payment That's two months after denial, which is excessive. This is a formal request for the return of my $400 application deposit. My application was denied on January 7, 2026, and I have still not received the refund despite multiple confirmations that the check would be reissued. If I do not receive proof of payment or tracking by Monday, I will file a complaint with the Los Angeles Housing Department and pursue recovery through Small Claims Court. Many others have left reviews about the move-out deposit, I advise you to find somewhere else to live as their billing email will never respond. Vision... Honey, I'm home!! I like luxury lifestyle and the finer things in life, who doesn't right? But I'm not greedy, I'll settle for a 1 bedroom instead of the penthouse. (Haha!) This place is absolutely breathtaking. Tonight, I kind of felt like Julia Roberts as Vivian in Pretty Women. I didn't get to have a bubble bath in that tub or get to jump up and down on the bed, but I did see the beautiful view and experience all the amenities including laying in the cabana and star gazing by the pool. These apartments features everything lavish and luxury in their studio $3,000 and up, one bedroom $5,000 and up, two bedroom $6500. The 2 bedroom Penthouse is at $14,000- $17,000 furnished. These luxury apartments features upscale, exquisite design and top of the line quality and comes with an city view of Los Angeles. The rooms are spacious with a walk in closet, the bathroom has a bath tub and a stand up shower. The design is sleek and contemporary. Parking structure is below the building, walking in, you are greeted by concierge and in the lobby a Nepresso coffee machine to help you start your day or end your night. The residents here gets to enjoy the extravagant amenities such as a club house use for a party or a get together that has a kitchen and sick right next to the outdoor barbeques. There is also a work from home space. A conference room that can hold business meetings. There's a fitness center on the facility with quality brand workout equipments. The Sky Deck with rooftop pool is just breathtaking. I would definitely enjoy a nice swim here with an amazing view and then get comfy at one of the cabana. They have and even butlers for the Penthouse residents. It is minutes from the Grove, and all the trendiest shopping and restaurants are located at. For those who work in LA and likes to play in LA, and come back to an upscale hotel lifestyle, this is it, welcome to your home! I had the opportunity to tour Vision on Wilshire, remarkable apartments by the way, with Luis and Chad they both were super awesome. Once you walk into this beautiful space you'll be impressed from the amenities to the ambiance. The top of line amenities include rooftop pool, coffee machines throughout the facility, and a fitness center. The ambiance is breathtaking and You have picturesque mountain views right from the city. They offer furnished and unfurnished upscale apartment homes. If you have pets they also have recurring pet rent. There is artwork and art pieces all throughout the facility. The fireplace on the rooftop is amazing! After the tour there were snacks and food for everyone to enjoy for the grand opening. I was welcomed into a 2 bedroom living area with beautiful views, the rooftop infinity pool, gym, conference rooms and so much more. As the building is still new everything was in perfect condition and smelled new (weird I know, I like the smell of new). The staff was simply amazing! They were all very welcoming and very helpful. I have been a resident at Vision on Wilshire for nearly six years. And, as my life circumstance now propels me to another city soon, I feel compelled to express my deepest gratitude to the management and the maintenance staff at Vision, as well as to make an enthusiastic recommendation of this wonderful place. Over the past three decades, I had the privilege of staying in many upscale properties in Asia, United Kingdom, and in various parts of the United States. And I can say, unequivocally, that Vision on Wilshire is one of the finest, if not the BEST, place that I have ever stayed at! There are a few notable individuals that I highly recommend engaging with at Vision....and they are the on-site Manager in Ms. Rozzette Grotsky, the Community Manager in Mr. Garrett McMullen, and the Maintenance Manger in Mr. Marco Especia. "Professional," "Responsive," "Proactive," "Reliable," and "Caring" are a just few words that I would use to describe these wonderful individuals. And, as a former Cornell University graduate, who has many friends in its world famous Hotel and Hospitality Management Program, I do not say these things lightly. From the very beginning, their communication has been clear, efficient and professional. Ms. Grotsky, Mr. McMullen and Mr. Especia never fail to take their time to listen and to respond efficiently to my requests. Any issue is dealt with professionally and promptly...and, most impressively, these guys are ALWAYS available! It's quite impressive how these guys are always very proactive to resolve issues before they arise, and follow up on any of my requests, from as small as a quick question to following-up on repairs and maintenance in a timely fashion. The genuine care and attention to detail that they have for managing and running this property always made me feel secure, proud and comfortable. Vision on Wilshire is a beautiful modern property that offers countless amenities that I didn't get to enjoy all during my six years of residency here. And, despite its many interwoven high-end amenities, it's quite impressive to experience the seamless efficiency of its information flow, updates and continuous feedback that I receive in this place. I love going to open houses and I checked out one of LA's newest luxury high rises in the Miracle Mile. This is a great location as I use to work in the area. It is in very close proximity to handful of museums and entertainment studios. The official grand opening is in a couple of weeks and I recommend you all to check it out for yourself. Love love love this place !!! I moved in about a month ago and I am so happy I did ! First off Rozzette in the Leasingoffice made the whole process so easy and pleasant. The building is immaculate . Super clean . My favorite is how welcoming the staff is . Every day they make you feel so special and welcoming. Karl Jessica and Christie are a true delight . The whole staff goes above and beyond to make you feel like you live in a 5 star hotel .The maintenance manager Marco is always available and so helpful and accommodating. The valet is amazing as well . Luis and the valet crew are always greeting with a smile . Everyone is just always so nice and helpful. The building itself is stunning and the rooftop pool and outside area are just amazing. I looked at a few similar places in the area but so so thankful I choose the vision ! So convenient located as well . For food options there are 2 awesome restaurants right in the building and across the street everything from Thai food to Açaí place . The units are super modern with beautiful views. I was a bit worried that there be a lot of noise from the street but nothing! It's so quiet ! Love the full size washer and dryer in unit ! I live around the corner from this building and pass by on my daily walks with my dog. Carl is the best! So friendly and always greets us, even greeting my dog and gives him dog treats. They also have some friendly valet staff. This building is lucky to have someone like Carl work there! read more

LOOKS ARE DECEIVING..... I have been living here since November of 2018. I am moving out February 14th. My name is Diane Pinky Harman - actor, educator- former mayoral candidate of Los Angeles March 7, 2017. The following observations are my opinion only. They are to help in your decision making to live here. This building is advertised as a luxury apartment building. I disagree for the following reasons. a. Coffee machines in the lobby and 5th floor rarely work. The 5th floor Starbucks machine needed attention every other day. At times you have to supply your own sugar, cream etc. There are no cups on the 5th floor. They say they are going GREEN.. I say they are going cheap. I offered to pay for the cream, sugar, etc. this month, but, management said it wasn't necessary. b. Pool is not heated to 80 degrees most of the time. I had to carry with me my pool thermometer from Lesley's pool to confirm the temperature. I love to go swimming and that is one reason I rented this apartment. c. Animals are off their leash in the pool area. This was against the rules. Service dogs I can understand. I almost got bitten by one. d. I could bring friends and people from the entertainment world, however, I didn't feel comfortable to do this. e. Construction for the Purple Line is in front of my apartment. I face Wilshire Blvd and it goes on all hours of the night. This is the second time they are working on this construction. This time it will last for 9 weeks. Be sure to bring ear plugs. I wasn't told about this to my knowledge before I rented the apartment. Other reviews say the same thing. f. Pool door and fitness center are difficult to open. If you are disabled, it is impossible, in my opinion, to enjoy the amenities. In my opinion, this building is not handicapped friendly. In July I had a tibia fracture and noticed this first hand. It is a new building. It doesn't have the handicap button to push the door to get out on Wilshire Blvd. Concierge are doing other things and aren't at the table to assist all the time. No handicap bathrooms in the common areas. g. I have experienced parties on the rooftop until 3 am. In fact, I had to call the police like many other tenants to my understanding. Parties on the rooftop are to stop by 10 p.m. The rules are seldom enforced. h. Pool rules state only 2 guests per person. People were bringing 10 and residents didn't have the opportunity to use the cabanas or lounges. Glasses and loud music was played... once again, no enforcement of rules. They finally hired a 20 year old pool attendant. They expected her to control the behavior at the pool, when in fact management couldn't. i. At one time I suggested having a 24 hour police officer on property. The building was out of control. j. Be aware of utilities. I understand it is a private company. I was told each unit pays electricity, however, gas and other things are shared among the 150 residents. You pay the same if you are in the Penthouse or a studio. They explained though you only pay for the number of people on the lease. I still don't understand how they come up with that calculation. k. You can see from another review... if you want to leave you have to pay two months of rent. I didn't want to do that, so, I stayed. l. Customer Service rarely gets back to you. j. I have sent approximately 100 e-mails and pictures I sent to management, UDR Corporation, in particular the CEO. Don't expect things to change.... I paid a lot of rent and constantly was on my computer... I think you get the picture. If you look at the reviews, most of the 1's are recent. I was fooled by the look of the building also. If you need to ask me any questions feel free to message me. I will try to look at yelp and return your feedback. I have lived at Vision on Wilshire since the opening of this building. I have watched this building grow and all the poorly trained staff, rude and unhappy leasing agents, and now the biggest problem is the leasing manager named Ulga. I do not recommend anyone to move into Vision. I pay my rent of $7,995 EVERY month on the 1st, never been late and I still have issues with these people. Eager for my lease to end, so I can end my residency here at Vision. If I would have known Ulga managed this building, I would have never even toured this building. I do not recommend anyone to consider residency here. Upon reading other reviews, I have noticed I am not the first person complaining about Ulga. The building is luxury but staff is very poorly trained. read more

Toured this high rise premium building with Rozz- very professional leasing agent. But most important she made me feel like I'm home, greeted me very warm, answered to all my needs. Thanks to her high bar service for clients, patience, hospitality- I immediately applied. Appreciate prompt reaction and highly professional service of property manager Garrett. Because of him my move went as fast as desired. Thankful to all team- concierge service, valet, maintenance, all leasing office for making my relocation very smooth, secured, with really pleasant vibe. Lived in this community all my life. Had a taste for an hamburger and decided to try Hiho. Their website indicated their location was at Wilshire and Crescent Heights with free underground parking. When I arrived at the property via Crescent Heights, I attempted to enter the parking structure. (The garage gate was open) when the parking lot attendants noticed I was trying to enter the garage one of them lowered the gate. Than looked downwards. I rolled down my car window and said, excuse me. The two parking attendants totally ignored me. One walked away while the other continued to look down using a device. Then I said so you're going to totally ignore me and act as if, you don't hear me speaking to you? Than the older attendant replied. "I am just doing my job taken care of the residents here". I explain to him that was going to HiHo. The website indicated there was free underground parking at the site. He replied that it was on the other side. I had to back out their driveway, because another car had exited. which was hazardous. Anyone who lives in the area knows how the traffic is on Crescent/Wilshire. Their was an pedestrian on the passenger side of my car trying to cross the street; who was partially in my blind spot's. The parking attendant watched as I attempted to exit. I wondered if he was watching to see if I was going to hit the pedestrian? Or if the on coming traffic was going to hit me? No professionalism whatsoever. Maybe it just for the residents. read more

We have lived at Vision for nearly 3 years and have seen it, unfortunately, deteriorate. I can positively say that this apartment building is not worth the money. There are similar apartments with much better value for money and service. We first moved in here because the amenities were great, there was a sense of community and the service was excellent. All those things are no longer true: 1. Understandably with COVID, access to amenities has been limited leaving us to wonder what we pay such high rent for. 2. Everyone on the building used to be so pleasant and considerate, but a significant number of the people that have moved in are terrible neighbors. Many people refuse to wear masks in public spaces and the building's management has done little to enforce mask rules. For months we had to deal with the smell of marijuana filtering through our vents at all hours of the day. It was nauseating and in the midst of a pandemic we had nowhere to escape to; even our balcony reeked. It also was not unusual for people to smoke marijuana in the elevator! It took management months to address this issue, despite our repeated pleas for a resolution. And now we have had to deal with cigarette smoke filtering through our vents. We have repeatedly addressed the issue with management to no avail, despite all residents signing a lease addendum that clearly states that smoking of any kind is grounds for lease termination. The building will not enforce this and has chosen to put all our health at risk. We proposed that if they could not enforce the smoking rule they at least place air purifiers on our floor. They refused. Their solution was to place an air freshener outside the offender's door, which makes it smell worse! When we come home, it smells like the floor of a cheap Las Vegas casino! It's disgusting; mixed with the smell of trash in the hallway because certain people in the building refuse to throw their trash down the chute. At least 2-3 times a week there are trash bags in the hallway with their contents spilling out or oozing into the carpet. Not to mention the people who refuse to pick up after their dogs; on more than one occasion we have found dog poop in our hallway, in the elevator or on the 5th floor deck. It's all one huge health hazard and we feel the building is not doing enough to address this. 3. A large part of the problem is that the building has poor service; there is a revolving door of concierge, valet, and building management. Aside from poor Garrett who is stretched thin (and already dealing with things that he shouldn't have to) there is no one who seems to be in charge/committed to ensuring the residents have a good experience. Concierge used to open the door for you, offer you water on your way in and out, and make an effort to know you and address you by your name. Concierge will now watch you struggle with grocery bags and not get up to help you get a cart to put your bags in, let alone open the door for you! In summary we are sorely disappointed in Vision and UDR and can't in good conscience recommend this as a place to live. read more

Beautiful views, great concierge, and Chad is the only good part about this building. However the service you would expect from a "5 star resort" is not what one receives here. This is supposed to be a pet friendly building and management wants tenants to vacuum after themselves every time after they take their dogs on a walk EVERY single time lol that's a joke. When one pays good to live in a "5 star building" you would expect phenomenal service. But this is not the case. They should hire more janitors to live up their "5 star" wishes. They expect tenants to vacuum their whole floor where they live and we received letters as well stating if management finds hair on the floor they will charge $250 each time they find hair. How ridiculous and absurd does that sound lol. Hire more staff if you want to live up to your name. I can attach pictures of the emails stating we have to pay $250 for each dog hair they find. For what we pay for this place we expect exceptional service and this is not worth it. read more

Second hand weed smoke is unhygienic and a health risk particularly in covid times. Weakens lungs and is a stressful environment to try and sleep in when it's all night. The ventilation system at the vision is an issue and I'm not seeing any improvement despite management trying to figure out who the culprits are. Second hand weed smoke is coming through the vents. On September 15th I parked my car at the Vision on Willshire Blvd , in about 10 minutes I went out sat in my car , scanned my ticket at the gate so it can open to let me out and in 1 second this gate just dropped on the front of my car and broke my front window. I walked back into the Vision lobby and told about what happened to a front desk guy , he and another guy went to a parking lot to see what happened, they were shocked. So I asked him what to do and he said" let me call a guy who's responsible for that". After the phone call front desk guy took all my info including my name and phone number and told me they're going to call me and their insurance will fix all the damages. So I was ok with that and left the building with damaged car. Todays is September 20 I didn't receive any call or message from them. I called them 4 times to the front desk and they simply put me on hold till I hang up. I've been waiting for over 40 minutes , then called them back they respond and put me on hold again before I even had a chance to ask why they simply refuse to talk to me. Im very disappointed that the high level building like this one just ghosting me and don't want to take responsibility for damaging my property.So everyone be careful at this location. And just letting the managers of this building know that my Lowyer just started the case and instead of covering my window and some minor damages which cost $500-1000 you'll be paying way over $10.000 after the court. I have been living in this building since two years but I am counting days to finish my lease. Building is really nice and I enjoy the pool area and because of that I stayed here for so long. From the other point of view there is a lot of negative things. Management just wants your money. Guests can stay for max 2 h otherwise they will need to pay for the parking which is really annoying and quite expensive if they coming to see you very often. Parking belongs to the building but of course they say it belongs to different company . When I Jason the new manager that I would like to feel more comfortable when I am living here and wants my friend and family to come to visit me as much as they want and stay as long as they want not to be limited by parking, he told me they should commute by Uber or by bike . Every time cleaners comes I need to give her extra money for parking. The new manager Jason is not really nice. Every time you ask him about something he says no. There was construction work going on since 5.30 am in the opposite building. I have asked ask him to send the letter to the city and he told me to do it on my own. I was shocked . I am sure it was interrupting other tenants as well. In March I send him an email asking him if he could ask tenants to use elevators on its own because of Covid-19 . He said he can not ask tenants to do it . I didn't ask him to force it I told him just to put the note that it would be better for our own safety. His reply was I can use stairs if I don't want to use elevator . I live on 13th floor and I am pregnant. Now, 3 months after he added a note asking tenants to use elevator on its own if possible. Couldn't he do it before. They have recently reopen the pool area. Jacuzzi water was cold . I have asked him to increase the water temperature . He has told me they need to keep social distancing , what has jacuzzi water temperature to do with the social distancing. Garret the other manager was nice before but now he seems not nice at all. Funny that so many tenants have told me the same. Building has got a lot of empty apartments . I think people don't want to extent their lease. Vince is not helpful at all . I have ask him few times to help me with something but he always told me to do it on my own. Of course why should he bother to do something when he is constantly on his mobile phone or on internet . Nice to get pay for not doing anything . I feel pretty used by the company because they increased my lease by 35% and I am paying $1000 more for the same size studios. I asked to move to the cheaper apartment but they want to charge me $700 and change my lease. I know they didn't charge $700 before and when I asked Garett he told me they didn't but now they are doing . You should have the same rules for every tenant not just for some of them. This is not fair. The construction works on wilshire is a big issue. It will wake you up 7 days per week and interrupt you when you want to leave or enter the building read more

This is a new renovated building with a beautiful view of the city. I was so happy to be invited by Tora to enjoy this delightful splendor of a luxury apartment. The building is decorated in modern gold and black. The 1,000 square foot unit we toured was designed in a very efficient yet elegant layout that gave it a unique and elegant feel. The pool area overlooks the city and it has a Jacuzzi! Every piece of art is beautifully situated and matched to enhance every room, elevator or hallway. The fitness room was equipped with the necessary machines needed in a home gym. Let's not forget the lobbies with all the coffee needed to start and end the day. Unfortunately, this will not be affordable by all. But, if you have that kind of money, and want to be taken care of very well, then this is definitely the place for you. Bottom Line: Gorgeous views, modern and sleek, with a great service manager in Luis to top it all off. I had the opportunity to view Wilshire's latest edition via tour by Chad (thanks for the lovely tour Chad)! The building has everything you need, with a superb rooftop to match. It has lovely decor, a great modern vibe, and views you cannot beat. If you're looking for a place of this caliber, look no further. I just moved out after 5 months. I paid a two month penalty to break my lease. Vision looks great on the exterior but it is very poorly constructed. I had an inch of standing water on my balcony for days after it rained. There is no overhead lighting in the living room or bedrooms, even though there are fixture mounts, they are not wired. The hot water didn't work in the kitchen. There is very little storage. If you live on the corners, you can see into your neighbors apartment. The gym is very small, tiny, and people do personal training and play loud music throughout the morning. The rooftop pool is nice looking but there is only room for about 14 people to have chairs. So on a nice day you have to be out there at 8:00 am to reserve a chair. The staff is very nice though. read more

I just moved in to this apartment complex during COVID and expected everything to be quite hectic -- however the staff has gone above and beyond what I expected. They have helped me so much with my move and been extremely helpful. The management, primarily Jason, has answered my multitude of questions all within less than 24 hours. He has really been such a wonderful help and made moving in/living here off to a great start. I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone, in that they will do everything to help you and make sure you feel at home! read more

I have a very bad experience as a 6 months resident. Before writing this review, I repeatedly asked to fix the problems, but I didn't receive any response or action. By the way, I rent one of the penthouses, and No one here cares about you! Do you have hot water or not?! Do your children breathe tobacco smoke or not?! It's only your problem guys. We have lived at Vision on Wilshire since right after the building opened in the summer of 2018. In early 2019 I wrote a rave review about our experience, however fast-forward 20 months and our opinion has really changed. Even though this is a non-smoking building, our floor, apartment and other public areas of the building smell like smoke (cigarettes, cigars and marijuana) throughout the day. Additionally, management has taken an extremely passive approach to supporting California's (and Los Angeles') COVID mask-wearing guidelines/mandates. They just don't seem to care if residents and guests walk around the building and enter/ride the elevators without masks. Simply putting a sign outside the elevators on each floor and at the building entrances would be a great first step. However, building management apparently prefers to take the path of least resistance and do nothing rather than prioritizing the health and safety of good tenants. Such a shame. read more
