After my longtime optometrist retired, I was assigned to a new doctor who rushed through my appointment and didn't seem interested in the vision concerns I tried to explain. The support staff was great, but the actual care felt impersonal and hurried. Then came the billing nightmare. Their phone system makes it impossible to reach a real person, so I had to go to the office in person to resolve an insurance filing mistake. That issue was supposedly fixed in February 2026, and I was told my account was fully paid. Yet in May 2026, I received another bill for $35. Whether this is ongoing disorganization or something more concerning, it's unacceptable. I can no longer trust Grene Vision Group with my care or my billing, and I won't be returning.

My husband had to tell me on the way home from the hospital. They have a Doctor Who was also an attorney to do my post op appointment and she said I should grieve the loss of my vision like a loss of a limb! I had my surgery last May 8 and I have spent thousands of dollars getting it repaired from the damage that this office has caused! The new ophthalmologist that I went to was horrified that they did not do more to inform me or try to fix the damage that they did! When he did surgery to repair my eye, he said it was like looking through frosted glass. Do not ever trust anyone in this group to do anything to you if you want to keep your vision!

I've had myopia all my life, now I don't and it is wonderful. It's life changing. Wait times are minimal and she and they always take that extra step to ensure the health and comfort of their patients. And I see how cares for others, I don't know how she does it. This goes against Medicare guidelines which say if a doctor accepts Medicare, you can make an appointment with them directly without a referral of any kind. Just another ploy on Grene Vision's part to get you to pay to see one of their optometrists which traditional Medicare won't cover, before you can see one of their opthalmologists, who don't do eye surgery anyway. If you're like me, save having to see three doctors and just make an appointment directly with an opthalmologist who can examine you and also do surgery, if needed.

I had extensive edema of the macula and returned a couple times on which I was released and told my sight would improve and the swelling was gone. I was released to see an optometrist for new glasses. I went to my optometrist and he would not issue me a new prescription because of excessive swelling still. After 2 1/2 more months of treatment and thorough, extensive testing, he diagnosed that I had a genetic disorder that was putting me blind. I should never been operated on without the extensive exams that my optometrist did and should definitely not have been released without thorough examination at which the extreme edema would have been found.
