Bruce always does an excellent job of measuring and adjusting our glasses, he and the staff help us choose the frames that are best for us, but even more importantly we truly care about each other. Bruce and his team were amazing and very helpful. I went in with a prescription and they just wanted to double check it to make sure it was on point. Turns out the prescription was wrong and they didn't even charge me for the exam. Very knowledgable and friendly and when it came time to pick up my glasses Bruce opened early and took care of me. Very bad first experience and will be my last. Total rip off of a store. Called and asked how much they charge to replace nose pads, they told me it's free unless they need to special order. I went, they replaced it and charge me $10... And started making excuses that they ordered those and there's shipping charge. You did not special order those for me!!! I don't care about the charge, what bothers me is they could have at least told me upfront the cost before they do the fix. Dishonest store and I do not recommend. read more

waited an hour for my appointment. Contacts exam, took a long time and dr was competent but not great. The sales people were so overtly and fake nice, it was hard to talk to them. Consistently tried to get me to buy something I said no to 3 times and didn't have samples in stock. Had to come back and then Dr wasn't in so I had to reschedule for a week later. Not going back - don't love Wise Eyes either but much better service. read more

Paid more than I have ever paid for glasses - and they get condescending when you question price. They are a provider under my Optical plan, yet my out of pocket was more than when I didn't even have Optical insurance. Unless I went when they were severely low on inventory, they do not carry all of the designers listed on their website. Overcharged for both the exam and the glasses themselves. There are many other Opticals in the neighborhood, so shop around - I certainly will next time. This place has their own lab, so turn around time is super fast, but unless you need your glasses in a hurry, you are literally throwing money away if you buy them here. read more

We chose this store because they carried a particular line of frames that we fell in love with in Italy and they also honored our insurance plan. Just not what I expected from a little store off the fashion track. Not only did this small store surprise me with their selection of frames but their friendliness and availability also took me by surprise. I'm used to going to a upscale stores with beautiful display cases lining the walls. When I saw the displays here (on shelves, in glass cases) I was ready to look elsewhere for new frames for my husband. However, the staff is good and helpful at finding frames that would suit him...and did. Nicole has an uncanny ability to size up a face and match it with frames that suit us. I'm so pleased with his results that I am also getting new frames from them. They were patient while we went through the process of choosing from many different and wonderful choices. They "got" my style right away and helped me find just exactly what I would love. Did I mention friendly? But not pushy and very real. They didn't try to talk me into anything. Very unhappy. Many months ago I went in for an eye exam, was given a prescription, and picked out glasses there. When I got the glasses and put them on, I felt cross eyed. I told the lady who gave me the glasses that I couldn't see straight and she looked at me like I was crazy and told me I just had to go home and get used to them. Well, I tried and tried and tried. Tried wearing them everyday for a week but couldn't keep them on for more that a minute without feeling sick the rest of the day from them. I went to another eye doctor for a second opinion and my new prescription is not I only perfect, but is WAY different from the numbers that I was given here. I felt extremely uncomfortable by the staff's reaction to my issue so I didn't even bother bringing them back. read more

My entire family has been going to Vision World for close to 15 years. The service and care that we receive has always been extraordinary. We all get our eyes checked yearly and my kids wear glasses ( I wear contacts) and we have never had one problem through out the years. Huge selection of frames- would have been there for hours if not for the patient and very knowledgeable Sharon, who is professional yet friendly and honest, honing down the very daunting array of choices to the perfect pair.
