I've had the pleasure of doing business with Visions three times now: First, In 2007 they tinted the windows of a new car. To this day, the tint looks amazing. Not one bubble, no change in color of the tint. Second, Tinted our office windows. They asked questions to better understand the reason / need and made suggestions on product. If I remember correctly, they also needed to remove old tint. They were quick, kept noise down and left their work space clean. I get a lot of comments on how great the windows look. Third, tint on another vehicle. I will eventually need more windows tinted at the office and will be bringing them back. Warning!! Dented my brand new car.... Disclaimers: 1. Don't take your car there if it is brand new and if you still decide to take it there *remember to take pictures of all sides when you drop it off! This is something I should have done but you live and learn. 2. Walk and inspect tour car together at the time of drop off and pick up. 3. If you get limo tint on the front windows it's not warranted. 4. If you have a Lexus NX your car might have the clear coat on the front windows like mine does. I got my tint done at Visions Tint Tuesday 4/13/21. I came here based on the convenience since it's 2 miles away from my work even knowing his prices are high I was hoping the quality of work was as good as he was proclaiming. I came a week before and we inspected my car together and made an apt. The owner seemed like an honest guy well I'm sorry to say he is not. Dropped it off 9am all good but when I went to pick up my car and pay he had written on my receipt "Coating on front door roll ups" and told me he noted this because supposedly my car is the only kind of car that comes with a factory coating and that if I need to remove my front window tints for any reason he's going to charge me 4x the normal price because of the coating he can't use a razor to remove the tint and it takes more time. Also noted I got limo on the front windows so they are not warranted even for bubbles or fading. When I picked up my car we did not inspect it together I paid and walked out alone. I walked around the back to inspect the rear tint and went straight back to work then when leaving work I was inspecting the tint again and noticed 2 windows have bubbles which I'm hoping will bake out with the heat but 1 window has a few crumbs/dust between the window and the tint.... but those didn't even phase me once I noticed a DENT & SCRATCHES on my hood. I washed my car the Saturday before and it sat for 3 days without being driven and then went straight to Visions. I went straight back to Visions tint after work and the door was locked so I called, and Robin answered and he got so upset so quickly that I would even accuse him of doing that cause he doesn't even touch the hood area. He claims it did not happen at his shop and that he'll meet me in court. Over the phone he had mentioned "ya you know I saw that dent and I was even wondering wow you(me) told me it was a brand new car" and that he had pictures of the dent. I mean why would you take pictures of someone's dent unless you felt/knew you were going to get blamed for it seems a little suspicious to me. I wouldn't go somewhere and pay $320 to then come back and accuse them of denting my car I think I would have saved that 320 and got my mysterious dent fixed. I went back to the shop 4/14 to settle this matter and look at this work area and those "pictures he took" he refused to show me. And the cherry on top was being harassed by his wife who came at me like a bat out of hell. So nothing was resolved. Here's a little back story my car is a brand new 2021 and only 2 months old this is my baby I wash it weekly it just makes me so sad that places like Vision tint aren't honest. Sorry for the huge post but I am utterly upset about this situation and just pray that karma bites back. I gave him a night to think about it and prayed that he would be honest and come to reason, but I'm writing this review because that obviously did not happen. read more

So I got an new Chevy Volt and the heat coming through the windows was brutal. I looked on Yelp for companies that could offer window tinting, and reached out to about six different vendors. They all recommended different products and the cost was reasonable. Then my husband said I should read reviews for Visions Window Tinting (which hadn't shown up in my searches because I was searching in Irvine, and they're located about 20 minutes away in Anaheim/Yorba Linda). Their reviews were excellent and I called. From the call I was impressed with his approach to NOT upsell me on ceramic window tinting - sure it's the "new" thing but the heat reduction is minimal (at best) and isn't enough of a difference maker to use it. Also, he doesn't use templates for the cutting of the film... Why? Because the templates may not extend low enough to prevent catching on the rubber seal. And, he stressed the importance of the quality of the film used because if you get an inferior product it will crack, change color, or fade. I inquired about clear tint for my windshield (which the other vendors had recommended). He said that since my commute is short, the air cooling effect should be enough to work and that he didn't recommend it for me and said I should just use a windshield screen when parked and that would make a tremendous difference. So, I made an appointment. The cost for all four side windows and the back window was $245.00. But the thing I want to make sure to highlight is this - the back window of my car has a black dot pattern design that is dense at the top and gradually disperses as it goes down the back window. While it's "pretty" and it was designed to reduce the direct sun on a person sitting in the back seat - it's a challenge for tinting. If he put regular tint on it - there was no way to prevent any bubbles. So, instead, he recommended that he put in vinyl on that portion of the window (black, solid) and tint the rest of the way down. I was concerned that would reduce my visibility, but he explained that the angle of the window would make it so that would not reduce my visibility and would instead make the back window tint cleaner and more effective. And, it didn't cost a penny more. (Seriously!) I had to book my appointment about two weeks out (so, this to me is an indicator of a business that is in demand - I could have had any of the other vendors within a day or so - but I was willing to wait and I am glad that I did). I didn't even read the Yelp reviews before booking an appointment here with Robin. He was so down to earth and came across as honest in his explanations of the different tint options available to me. I found them just driving by in the neighborhood on my way to the ATM. He did my 2012 Chevy Volt with all four side windows and the back for a flat $245. I got Madico CH20 and the results are very impressive. He said I might get some bubbling on the hatchback window but that it would disappear after about a day. I didn't get any bubbling whatsoever. I also got a warranty card with a limited lifetime warranty against fading. The difference in heat reduction was noticeable and I like the tinted look, which makes the car look sleek. The job took about 3 hours and I also got a complimentary shuttle back to my place less than 2 miles away while I waited. Excellent service and I'd definitely come back again for any future tinting needs. I highly recommend them for their quality, honesty and service. read more

Had my truck tinted 2 years ago, with the front windshield getting done too. Weeks later I realized after it was washed, I would see water spots. Assumed it was from my weekly car wash guy when in fact it was water spots from when Visions installed the tint on the windshield. I could have said something and or brought it back, but did not want more issues removing it and the hassle of bringing it back. A couple weeks ago, I went back to see if I could get a receipt from the original work because my windshield got replaced and I was getting paid to put the tint back on. The owners attitude when I asked for a copy was rude, asking me why I didn't have my copy. I told him it was in storage and hoped it was on his system and easy to get. He said he would check and get back with me. NEVER heard back. Not going back, don't feel my business is appreciated. Maybe he just was having a bad day, don't know. I am so disappointed. I dropped my car off and when I picked it up 2 hours later there was a hole in the door panel from the inatallation. I immediatley went back inside to share my concerns with the installer who I believe is also the owner. I said "I noticed a hole..." and he interrupted me and said "oh ya the one in the door? we noticed that when you brought it in." I said "it wasn't there when I brought it in, but I had a feeling you were going to say that." Let me just be clear here THE HOLE WAS NOT THERE WHEN I DROPPED THE CAR OFF! I am in my car most of the day for work (I am an outside sales rep and drive a lot) and THERE WAS NO HOLE. I have never written a yelp review before, in fact I created a yelp acct 5 minutes ago just to write this review. I am so upset. I take good care of my car (it is a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid) and this hole is very obvious! I posted 2 photos of it on here as well. I am sure it was an accident but it was still their fault and they took absolutely no responsibility for it. For the record the tint actually turned out pretty good, but my car is permanently damaged. Also, I have to.say that the smell of smoke is completely overwhelming when you walk in I couldn't believe it. My car smells like cigarette smoke inside. As soon as I bought my 2016 Toyota Tacoma last year in Sep. I started looking around to tint my windows and most places I called were just "lets get down to business attitude" and simply wanted to know if I wanted to book an appointment or not. Some were even annoyed when I asked a question or would just rush through the answers and try to get me off the line. However, when I called this place the owner (don't remember his name) was very helpful, patient and provided plenty of useful information about the different types of tinting. They even provide me with shuttle service when I brought it in. I live about 8-10 miles way so I was concerned about the ride back home but he said not to worry and that I would get a lift back home. His wife which was also very nice and courteous dropped me off and even offered to pick me up to get the truck once it was finished but I felt bad making her drive around on the 91 freeway at 5pm since I would only be able to pick it up after work. So I was truly grateful for their great customer service. I paid around $250 and they called me at about 11 am to tell me it was done. I personally think this was a great deal. I also waited almost a year to give the review just because I wanted to make sure the quality of the tinting was good. Let me tell you, so far I am extremely happy with their work. I got limo tint on everything just because everyone knows it gets caliente here in Southern Cali and plus it makes the truck look awesome lol. With limo tint, it might take you a couple of weeks for your eyes to adjust to the tinting ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT so be careful with that. Also, the truck will still gets hot when sitting outside on a sunny day but as soon as I turn on the AC it cools down quickly. I also love that when the sun is going down I don't have to keep moving my visor to the side because the tint blocks it really good. Overall, I had a great experience here. I really recommend this place, the people are VERY kind, I didn't get the blonde lady's name but I talked to robin the guy that put the tint on and they were both very nice. The A/C in the waiting room was nice. Robin even double checked with me to make sure the tint wasn't to far down the windshield. I got offered water and it was a pleasant visit and I'll definitely be coming back and or recommend this place to friends or family!
