My husband and I decided to go to Visionworks for our glasses again because the last time we were there three years ago they had a huge inventory of glasses that were reasonably priced to choose from. I called to make an appointment and was told that to pick out glasses no appointment was necessary. I was also asked if we had our prescriptions for our glasses which we did. So we headed right down. There were two people being waited on in front of us when we walked in. We were greeted and told we could browse the eyeglasses while we were waiting our turn to get fitted for glasses. After a few minutes both of us had decided on the frames we wanted. We were called over to the desk by Jasmine. I went first since my prescription isn't as complicated as my husband's. In about ten minutes Jasmine reviewed my prescription, looked up my insurance benefits and discounts, fitted me for my bifocals and took my payment after my insurance benefits. Then she worked on my husband's trifocals. Again in ten minutes she was finished. Jasmine had great customer service. She was also very knowledgeable about the glasses and our insurance. She told us that we would receive an email when we could come back and pick up our glasses. We both received an email in approximately two weeks that our glasses were ready for pickup. We went back and the final fitting of our glasses took less than five minutes. We are extremely happy with their customer service and their products. We will definitely go back next time we need new glasses! read more

Was told the glasses would take three weeks to arrive because of my prescription, though I've never had to wait more than two weeks and I've had the same condition since I was a child. Three weeks came and went and nothing happened. I called and one person told me it would be another couple of weeks while another said a couple of days. Well, it wasn't a couple of days. Another week went by and still nothing. I called again and was told a manager would call me back. That did not happen. I called once again and was told I would have to wait nearly another week for them. That is nearly five weeks! I cancelled my order. Stay far away from this place! read more

This is our first time in years that we were able to go to Vision Works to get glasses. Because where we live we have just the outlet stores that don't have a very good selection of updated frames. But no problem with this store had more frames then you can look at, awesome doctor and great sales ladies that really know how to make you feel like your the only person in the room. My wife and I got glasses here, honestly ever since I feel like my eyes have been getting blurry, I switched back to my previous glasses I got with Eyeglass world and have been perfect since, basically wasted money on Four pairs of glasses two for me and two for my wife, they did not give us the correct eye glasses and have been causing both of us to have blurry vision when wearing them, honestly going back to eyeglass world because I never had this issue with them or anyone else before, I'm only in my 20s so this should not be the case, I have great vision and it's upsetting and disturbing that they're giving the wrong glasses to people, I honestly wouldn't come here ever again and don't recommend you do either, I will be contacting corporate to let them know, it's very frustrating when you pay for something and don't get it right, not once, not twice, but with four pairs? Absolute nightmare. Not only for us as the customer but for the company. They wasted money because the failed to communicate between stores. They make decisions without checking the facts. We still do not have what we paid for and more than 2 months have passed. I worked for over 40 years, and if I treated someone like this, I would have been fired!!! The people were very friendly and helpful. I was there on two separate occasions. The first time was close to closing so I tried on a few with Leo and he was great and giving me his true opinion. I didn't have my prescription so I went back a week later after looking at other places in the area. The second time it was packed. I grabbed a box and the glasses I liked from my last trip and a few more and was paired with a specialist there. She was also very helpful and picked out other pairs as well as sunglasses because they were running a special of BOGO with the prescription so why not right? Well after we ran the numbers with my prescription it would have cost between $530-$750 and I wasn't prepared for that. So we ended up going home to think about it. We checked online with Visionworks and they were running a 45% off special. I got the same glasses without the HD (which is the only thing she pushed on me and was quite the upcharge) for $350 delivered to my home with the same warranty and ability to go in store for adjustments. These people do not listen nor do they communicate with their customers when there is a question. When I ordered new glasses, I specifically stated that I wanted bifocal type lenses but did NOT want the little bitty quarter moons but full, across the bottom of the lens, bifocals. The lady who took my order even drew on the old lens where I wanted the line. The new glasses had the little bitty quarter moon bifocal, that I cannot even use because they are so far down in the lens. (They are a full 1/8 inch lower than the line drawn. I know it doesn't seem like much, but it makes a big difference.) When I asked the man who gave them to me about this, he stated that this particular lens could not have the bifocal I wanted. Someone should have called me to enquire what I wanted to do about this, not simply assume that I would be okay with it. I will NEVER again set foot in a Visionworks store, and I will advise friends to avoid them also. read more

Had an eye exam yesterday at Brooksville, Fl office, customer service rep assisted me in selecting frames. I selected two frames, 1 for clear single vision and 1 sunglass single vision and was informed that the sunglass pair would be free since I purchased the clear pair. Upon checkout another Rep refused to give me the discount (free) second pair because my Insurance Provider was Humana. I was informed that since I did not pay cash for the first pair and Humana paid a discount for their services I did not qualify for their BUY ONE PAIR AND GET ANOTHER PAIR FREE. The first rep was sitting with us at checkout and said nothing. Very disappointed in their false advertising which was visibly present hanging from the ceiling next to us. read more

Thanks to a frisky dog that my daughter had rescued during the Covid 19 quarantine, I visited Visionworks in Brooksville yesterday. Unfortunately, the dog tried to eat her glasses, and had chewed off the nose pads and bent the frames of an almost new pair of glasses. But a very kind and helpful staff member (sorry I don't recall her name) quickly replaced the nose pads and straightened the wire frames! I won't forget the top notch service I received.
