The best part about this place is the provider Dr Pierce! Every appointment I've ever had at an optometrist felt like I was at a "vision mill" where they just check your prescription and try to get you out of the clinic as fast as possible to see the next patient. Dr Pierce took the time to break down the results of all of my test results in depth; perhaps since I'm an aspiring PA he could tell my nerdy passion for anatomy and went in greater depth because he noticed I appreciated it, but even still that's just the sign of an excellent provider! I never felt rushed during my appointment and he answered all of my questions about how to improve my dry eyes and even gave me regimen advice for hot compress as well as eye drop and eye health supplementation suggestions. I am so happy with my experience and to now have an optometry office I look forward to using exclusively for all my vision needs.

It was clear he truly cares about his patients and is passionate about what he does. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the whole visit comfortable from start to finish. This will definitely be my vision place from now on.

Going anywhere else but here is a mistake on your part- I love everything about this practice. I…read moretook my 3 yr old in to see Dr. Howell when one of his eyes started to veer inward independently from the other. Dr. Howell immediately identified the issue and got to work correcting it, having had years of experience with children and this condition. My little boy thinks Dr. Howell is his best friend which is very telling because my son likes very few people, ha ha. Dr. Howell is patient, kind, and makes the exams fun with "games" and prizes at the end to the point that my little guy requests I make more appointments. Additionally it is obvious that Dr. Howell truly cares for his patients more than his payout. I trust 1000% that my expenses are fair and necessary- something I've questioned at other places. The staff is kind and skilled, I don't have to wait weeks and weeks for appointments-I just can't say enough good things about this office!

Turns out Dr Howell has training with migraine day head injuries and possible eye traits that can make that occur. He checked things no eye doctor ever had and told me because of my specific eyes I had been over prescribed and it lead to headaches. When I left there I finally had faith restored in at least one eye doctor! If eyes could breath a sigh of relief that's how my eyes felt. Also, NO headaches with my new prescription!!!! On top of all that, he was kind, intelligent, and very patient with my many questions, I had a lot of them. I would recommend him to anyone!

THIS IS THE FREAKIN' PLACE PEOPLE!!…read more I loved everything about my visit. The doctor and his staff were very welcoming and answered all of my questions without doubt or distaste. Very thorough is another notable memory. Plus, the lady that does billing is gorgeous. GOD DANG SNACK!! I'm just gonna rip my contacts so I can just see their beautiful staff all the time! Keep up the great work, and you'll continue to be my highest recommendation -Jaren

I chose this place because my VSP insurance listed them as an Elite Member, and I expected good…read moreservice and reasonable pricing. Looking back, I wish I had just gone to Costco. As a new patient with no eye issues, I simply needed an eye exam and new contacts. I was charged for the following: Comprehensive Exam (New Patient): $215 Determination of Refractive State: $42 Contact Lens Fit/Evaluation Level 1: $75 Optos Wellness Scan: $35 Total charges came to $367 before insurance. After insurance adjustments and payments, I still paid $95 out of pocket ($35 at the appointment and another $60 balance). What disappointed me was that I wasn't coming in with any special concerns. I just needed new contacts, yet it felt like every possible service was added. I was also quoted $332 for a year's supply of contacts. I decided to go to Costco instead, and after my VSP benefits, I paid only about $40 for my contacts. Compared to what I would have spent here, the choice was easy. To be fair, the doctor was very nice, professional, and helpful. My issue was not with the doctor, but with the overall experience and the billing. The staff interaction was below average, and I left feeling disappointed. The $95 I paid out of pocket here would have covered my full eye exam at Costco. My advice is to do your research and read the reviews carefully. Dont ignore what people say. I did and unfortunately I paid for it, based on my experience, I will not be returning.
