She was to be cremated and it took weeks to accomplish and their location was extremely inconvenient to the family! I voice my concerns on their website and they never even bothered to respond! It appears they are all about the money. Although I cannot prove this it appears they obviously get referral fees. They obviously never researched to see if the businesses they recommend are reputable! If you have a loved one in crisis DONOT go to Hospice of the Valley!

Danielle was especially attentive to our family's needs. The private room was comfortable, clean, and climate controlled, with access to the sunlight outside and a chair comfortable to sleep in. Best of all there were no restrictions. We could visit any time. We even brought in my family member's derpy cat that doesn't blink. He's on the catism spectrum. The lobby is a bit small and dated with a strangely-placed TV, but at least it's cozy, with wifi, plus they have free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and water. No waffle iron yet. If you need anything else, a giant market is just steps away. I highly recommend this location, even though they don't have returning clients.

I had so many issues with this place that it took me filing with the BBB to get resolution. Day one a nurse arrived who said she was off but decided to come anyway to sort out meds. From the moment she walked in the door, she was a mess. I had to ask her to step outside because she was making me anxious. She was so far in over her head that I asked for another nurse to come out. The nurse freaking out left and decided an hour later to just walk into my house without calling or knocking. Bad move! You don't ever just walk into someone's home without them knowing and surely after you said you were leaving. You could have been seriously hurt! Common sense! She set the tone that was my entire experience with this company. My first nurse was all clinical. Sorry that doesn't work for me. You have to have compassion, you have to listen to the caretakers. Your unsolicited "advice" about me needing to rearrange my place was none of your business and out of line. How dare you think you're entitled to tell me how to arrange MY home. Just keep your voice down for the 5 minutes you see the patient. It's not that hard. After she and a cna broke two pieces of furniture and I asked for them to be replaced (denied), she wasn't welcome anymore. My furniture WAS replaced after I escalated it to people who weren't blowing smoke up my butt (Norma Jean ). Terrible team "leader". After the nurse change, I was chastised by the social worker who I used to really like. She asked why I wasn't comfortable coming to her all while defending the nurse I let go. Hmmm, I wonder why I wasn't comfortable talking to you........ You all were so concerned on protecting a nurse I didn't want you forgot you had a client to serve. My second nurse wasn't better and when I caught her in a lie and called her on it, the relationship was irreparable. Her fake attitude when calling just made visits dreadful. I hated every part of the experience with this company. Resources available were brushed off or denied. They made things so much worse when their job is to make them easier. I've had prior experiences with hospice and this was by far the worst. Stay far away! I CANNOT recommend them.

You can have the strongest brand name in the industry, but without a truly dedicated staff, excellence is impossible. Sandra, Kelly, Raul, and Bert are anything but ordinary. My mother has been very weak due to the number of medications she's been on, and your team has done a wonderful job reducing some of them. The real gold stars, however, belong to these four incredible caregivers who, when Mom tried to skip OT and PT, kindly, professionally, and skillfully encouraged her to get out of bed and participate in her rehab. Every morning, Sandra helped Mom out of bed, into her wheelchair, and guided her through brushing her teeth and preparing for her therapy sessions. The food and food service team is surprisingly delicious and outstanding! It takes a special kind of person to stay positive, patient, and motivating day after day. Sandra, Kelly, Raul, and Bert, embody those qualities fully, and our family is deeply grateful. The food service team, and medical staff A+ too!

Her case manager, Leana, kept me updated each week on my mom's progress and gave me an idea of how she was doing and how much longer her stay might be. Having someone consistent that I could communicate with throughout her entire stay gave me a lot of comfort. The nursing staff was great as well, but with nurses changing from shift to shift, they didn't always know my mom personally or know all of her wants and needs. I really appreciated that her case manager remained the same from the beginning to the end of her stay. It made communication much easier and helped me feel confident that my mom's care needs were being addressed, especially since I couldn't be there in person. Overall, we had a great experience with the facility. My mom was well cared for, and she even really liked the food which is always a plus! I would definitely recommend Santé to other families looking for a rehabilitation facility for their loved one.

Extremely disappointed with ATI Physical Therapy and their billing practices…read more Before I even scheduled my first appointment, I specifically asked them to verify my insurance and tell me exactly what my cost would be per visit. I was told it would be approximately $60. I intentionally waited several days for them to verify my insurance information before moving forward because I wanted to know the cost upfront. At my first visit, I was charged $65. It was $5 more than quoted, but I didn't make an issue of it. Now, approximately 25 days later, ATI is trying to charge me an ADDITIONAL $95 for that same visit. That brings the total cost of ONE physical therapy visit to $160. When I called customer service, I was told the original $65 was supposedly only a "deposit." That was NEVER explained to me. Had I been told that $65 was simply a deposit and that I could later be billed another $95, I would have never agreed to the appointment. What makes this especially frustrating is that I specifically asked for the cost BEFORE scheduling and gave them time to verify everything with my insurance. Their customer service experience only made the situation worse. Patients deserve transparency about what they are agreeing to pay. Quoting someone around $60, collecting $65 at the appointment, and then nearly a month later billing another $95 is completely unacceptable to me. I would absolutely NOT recommend ATI Physical Therapy based on my experience. If you decide to use them, I strongly recommend getting your expected TOTAL cost in writing before receiving any services.

One more piece of advice: stay away from Banner Rehab Hospital. It is best described as a prison, Zero being with any other people, you eat in your room alone, company is in your room, pets are in your room only.; enough said.

I notified his nurse about right lower quadrant redness on a Sunday evening at 7:15pm. Blood work and X-rays weren't done until the next day. He was sent to the ER the next day at 1:30pm. In my perspective it was neglect from the nurse. CNA's were not doing oral care for my father three times per day as ordered. His mouth was filled with gunk when he was admitted into ICU he had a swallowing exam it was awful.

And they even give me tips and tricks to try at home and some homework at times so I can model and facilitate skills learned in sessions at home regularly. My child being new to services, im glad I can sit in session with him to help keep him on task or even to just sit quietly and learn techniques to use myself outside of sessions. I visited several 'facilities', but my last stop was OP, and it was perfect. The staff were friendly, professional, and welcoming, not just to me but to my mom! We were embraced with their warmth, kindness and knowledge. My mother was a nurse, and her assessment of her care was, "They are excellent". In December of 2022, my mother-in- law fell and fractured her wrist. From the hospital, she was sent to rehab. She had trouble doing PT because her toe nails were long and painful. They needed to be clipped. The rehab would not clip her nails. The week before Christmas, on a Friday, she/I was given a 5 day notice of discharge. I immediately called Orchard Pointe-Surprise, and within 3 days, my mother in law was moved in and settled! She was cared for, loved on and treated with respect. The last six days of her life, staff members from administration, to caregivers, to transportation, and maintenance, came to pay their final respects and show me love and support. No place is perfect, but Orchard Pointe- Surprise was perfect for my family members. ~Eileen

They speak hopefully, lovingly and faithfully and it really reflects in the faces and eyes of those who live here. They are committed to loving the residents and you see it! I am not just saying this because I have worked with them for several years doing marketing photography, but because I truly do see a special difference in these communities. Heritage is truly top-notch and a place I've already started comfortably recommending to family friends, because I believe they have something truly special.
