I asked for help to locate her room and the staff was so friendly and helpful. It was wonderful to see how well taken care of the residents were. I noticed great effort was given to provide an atmosphere where the residents felt included in social events and activities. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and how well it was maintained. I was given a tour of the property and the grounds were very well kept. I saw leisurely activities the residents could take part in, as well as spaces for family members to come and celebrate with them. Afterwards, I ate at one of their cafe's and really enjoyed the lunch. Everywhere I went, the staff was so friendly. It had the feel of being home. If I had to refer someone to a nursing/residential facility, this would be the place.

The entire Rehab Team created a caring environment with an impeccably high standard of care, delivered with warmth to my mother when she was admitted after a fall. I was impressed by the Team's manners and compassion, something you rarely find these days. Not one of my questions or concerns went unanswered. The staff demonstrated total commitment into caring for my mother. There were specific individuals who offered exceptional dedication and outstanding professional performance, as well as compassion, understanding, and caring. The Village at Summerville is an institution unique in its compassion for its residents.

The doctor said no, so the kept her. This year, they send a letter saying her rates will be raised OVER 3.000.00 a month! They say it's not about level of care, just cost of living. Cost of living is about 10%, a couple hundred dollars. NOT 3,000.00 a month. Where does a senior on a limited income get an extra 36,00.00 a year! Seems to me they are trying to get rid of her, knowing she cannot pay this. HELP!!!

Our dad was a resident until he passed away in April 2026. We visited most days and nights every week and saw kind care and peaceful settings most every visit. Holly, with housekeeping is so good with so many aspects of caring for the residents and families. We thank each caregiver who loved and cared for our dad! Barbara, Keenan, Tay, Savanna, Roxanne, April, Titiana, Destiny and if I've left off a name I apologize, were kind, patient and loving! I took my husband Paul to Terra Bella in Summerville, SC for a two week respite from August…read more26-September 9, 2024 in which we paid $2,450 ($175 per day) in advance. I spoke to the nurse Wendy, and she assured us that she would distribute his medication. I spoke to my husband on August 28th, (the 3rd day), and he informed me that they missed 3 doses of his medication. I went to the facility on August 28th to give him his medication because I was concerned he would have a seizure! I spoke with Ricky Flynn, (Area Sales Director) concerning this issue and he assured me that it will be taken care of by the next morning, August 29th. In addition to Not giving my husband his medication, my husband stated they did NOT give him a shower as requested by me. He DID NOT receive a shower until August 29th (after his 4th day there), and I had to call and request that they give him a shower to get that done! When I visited my husband on August 30th, (the 5th day), my husband was soiled from food all over his clothing, AND he was sitting there with a soiled brief (Bowel Movement), so I cleaned my husband, packed his clothes and took him back home!! Prior to leaving, I left a text message to Ricky Flynn concerning these issues and told him I was taking my husband home because I was concerned for his safety and Terra Bella's lack of care towards him. I also informed him that I expect a refund of $1,575 for the days that was left on the contract due to Terra Bella's NEGLIGENCE pertaining to my husband. Terra Bella breached their contract by not providing the care that they agreed to but NOT executed! I spoke to Melissa Dozier, (Business Office Manager) on September 16, and she informed me that we would NOT get a refund because I broke the contract. However, Terra Bella breached the contract and NEGLECTED to provide the service they were compensated to do. Had they provided the adequate service, I would not have removed my husband. I am writing this review pertaining to my displeasure of the lack of services that was NOT provided to my husband while he was in Terra Bella's care. I paid for the days that he was there, even though he was NEGLECTED!! However, due to Their lack of service, they left me No alternative but to remove him from their facility!! Due to Terra Bella's lack of professionalism, they left me no alternative but to remove my husband for safety reasons. I am being forced to take legal actions to be compensated for the days my husband was not there due to Terra Bella's Negligence!! My husband was NEGLECTED and that was NOT okay with me. Terra BelIa breached the contract by NOT providing the service they agreed to! I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to take their loved ones to this place!! Shame on you Terra Bella!!!!

However, in the two years at Magnolias, she was truly relaxed and enjoyed the residents and staff as well as her surroundings. As we all learn to realize, this is one of the biggest transitions in our parents' lives. The level of communication as well as the professionalism of the staff made our decision to place Mom there a true comfort for us and to the entire family. Visiting the facility was always an uplifting event and we were welcomed like we had known everyone for much longer. Cindy, Ashley and the entire staff have created a level of care that anyone presented with making a decision for their loved ones, should not hesitate to consider this facility. During this wonderful stretch of time, they've grown with the community and increased their value in terms of number of services provided and confidence from the thousands of customers. From a personal standpoint I had the privilege to meet some of their staff when one of my family members fell ill. The nurses are timely, professional and most importantly treat the patients with love. While I'm not aware of all their services I do know they can assist with light housekeeping along with meal planning & preparation, patient hygiene, have specialized RNs who can assist with medicine and even transportation. What's more is I felt as if the caregivers were just as invested in my loved one as I was, which is rare in today's environment. To add, the certified staff has the ability to lovingly care for all types of conditions including but not limited to Alzheimer's, stroke and PTSD to name a few. What I really respected is the fact that I had no idea how to deal with my dad's condition and the staff took time to educate me which allowed me to be productive and safe. As for pricing I found them extremely reasonable and are adjusted to the various services that are needed. The staff there are very accommodating and likewise will take time to go through all the patient's history so they can customize the experience that you and your loved one will find most beneficial. As for insurance some are accepted but it depends on the plan. I'm not familiar with what my family had to utilize however I recall the whole process to be painless and without incident or question. There are times in our lives where loved ones need care that is outside of our expertise or time thus, we need someone we can trust to step in and assist certain situations. For me and my mindset when my dad got sick it was nice to have Allcare step up as "that's one less thing I had to worry about." I trusted their nurses for honest and loving care along with excellent communication while having full confidence in the integrity of the company. Allcare has over a quarter of a century earned the trust of the community by always being here for those who couldn't help themselves. In essence they've been that extended family Summerville and exceeded my expectations. I'm extremely satisfied with their care and I humbly suggest giving them a call if the need or perceived need shall arise.

The aids who go out to help families are MOSTLY all wonderful and your family will be in great hands! SOME will do their best to make sure your family member is well taken care of and happy, they will go above and beyond. While some will only do the BARE MINIMUM. The office staff is very PHONY/FAKE and unfair to the workers. They put on a great act at being "compassionate" and "caring" but really are crappy people to work for who lack empathy for their employees who bust their butts 7 days a week while office staff gets to get off at 5 and have weekend and holidays off. Can't have family emergencies or you get "points" which leads to write ups and termination eventually. If this is the service you choose, be mindful of this review and hopefully you do not have to deal with the office staff much because they will throw their workers under the bus so quick to make themselves look good!
