They were well staffed on this weekend day and I was able to get helped with a short wait. My barber was very friendly, the cut was clean, and my wife was happy. They do have a preference for cash, but they say that they can take cards that can tap. This place was professional and I'd definitely consider coming back if I'm in the area.

The folks over at "Evolved" Barbershop mean every single word they say and they stand by all of them, which on the night my 9 yr old boy and Ishowed up was quite a few of them. Seriously though, (and I do not have names nor would I share if I did), the dude at the front stall, as you enter, was very engaging and hilarious. From the moment we walked in his commentary was cordial, comical and engaging! I'm one of those dudes who is not overly fond of "small" talk. I am not a jerk about it and if you ask me some meaningless question, or point out some pointless fact such as, "Boy, it sure is getting chilly lately". We walked in (no appt) around 6:30pm pn a Tuesday night and there was only one other customer in the joint. During our 20 min or so, that guy finished and another guy entered and was promptly greeted and taken care of by the young man near the back. After roughly 17-20 minutes, my lil dood shook off the excess strands of cut hair and walked out of EVOLVED with a whole lot more "rizz" and you cannot place a price tag on that! My son's hair has NEVER looked better and I mean that!!! That is why we will be returning to EVOLVED every 3-4 weeks as we go forward!

My boys had been going to the same person for haircuts since their very first cuts, so when she moved away I wasn't just looking for someone who could cut hair. I wanted a shop that understood their mixed curly hair, but I also wanted the experience to still be something they enjoyed. Haircuts have always been one of those little things the boys and I do together, and I didn't want it to suddenly feel like a chore. Because our schedule is usually packed, the first time we went to Catrins we took a chance and booked three different barbers at the same time. Somehow we went 3-for-3. Lance, Rebekah and Cass have all been awesome. They take the time to listen to what we want, they're great with my boys, and they've created a shop where everyone feels part of the conversation. A lot of times it turns into one big conversation across the whole shop instead of three separate haircuts, and my kids dig it. It's relaxed, funny, welcoming, and still easy to get in and out without turning a haircut into a two-hour event. Most importantly, they're really good at what they do. They've learned my boys' hair and consistently get their cuts right. I even brought Grandpa in when he was visiting and he walked out completely happy too, so apparently they've got every generation covered. I've had very long hair the past 7 years and I decided it was time to finally chop it off. I knew there was only one place I would go and one person I trusted...that was Lance. I sent him a couple ideas of what I wanted and he said no problem. Now usually with a decision like this one might get a little nervous day of, well the moment I walked in I was greeted by all the barbers and even some of the clients. He took amazing care of me and when he finally said are you ready to check it out, he turned me around to the mirror and man was I HAPPY with what he did.
