I highly recommend Vista optical in monroe located inside the Fred Meyer. They are always nice and we joke around constantly, even if I'm only shopping at the Fred Meyer, I like to stop by and say hi! My glasses are always ready super fast so I don't have to wear my back ups to long. I had a emergency last year where my brand new puppy chomped on my glasses and the fixed them basically overnight. The staff at this location inside Fred Meyer deserve a 5 star rating. Each person I dealt with bent over backward to help me and spent quite a lot of time tracking down my insurance coverage. And they were fun to work with - a real plus in my opinion. I did not have an eye exam there, and ultimately procured my glasses from Costco. The price difference was the guiding force and I saved slightly over $200 for progressive multi vision lenses using my own frame. read more

I bought a set of glasses year before last and have had the frames replaced 6 times... there cheap.. dont hold up.. and monroe Fred Meyers optical center should be re staffed with folks who know there job.. Again my glasses have a flaw in the style of frames I picked and now I'm on my last pair and the factory fusing of the frame is popped apart again.. almost $500.00 for 2 pairs and no offer to change my frames or assist me in getting a better frame.. No now it looks like I'll be a bit blind till I can save 500.00 again for new glasses. read more

two words--buyer beware. totally inept staff that would not give me my contacts even thought they still use my insurance, saying that they had a new docto, and that even though my prescription is still good they could not give me my contscts because if the new doctor. I have had exams at Monroe and re-ordering contacts for years. Never have had any problems. My most recent contact re-order, I ordered on a Friday, and they were delivered to me on Monday. Normally it's about 1 week for delivery. My ONLY criticism is that their point of sale and ordering system is quite, well, behind the times. Very inefficient. Seems cumbersome and time consuming just watching them process an order. Everyone has different experiences, just writing mine have always been great ! read more

My wife and I went in for contacts. Everything was going well in the beginning I got a pair and my wife had to have hers ordered, "be here in 3-5 days." First off they just handed me the contacts, they knew I'd never worn them before, I was given a short speech on how to use them so I tried and accomplished this after struggling for 40ish minutes with just the one eye. The second eye they told me to do at home, it was late so I assume they wanted to go home. Now my wife's contacts, she called 5 days later and was told they hadn't showed up yet, 2 days later I went in and asked and nothing there. I called a few days later and then a few more days went by we went in again and they decided to call the supplier. Finally February 3rd we were told 3-5 days and they will be here! 5 days go by and I call, nothing the next day I call and the lady is rude as can be telling me she can't keep calling her supplier, yes you can as you're their customer. Finally February 13th we walk in and inquire, she called again this time with us there, they had been delivered prior but no one had gone to get them yet or knew they were even there. Now at this point it has been over a month since our initial appointment, the woman has them in her hands and tells my wife sorry but the doctor is booked and out until Tuesday for your fitting. After all this time this is not acceptable, we will not be going there or recommending vista optical again after this experience. read more

Went to vista because they accept our insurance. My wife was having an eye issues that our family doctor said might be best to have a optometrist look at. We scheduled her appointment and was seen by Dr. Carolina K Lee LLC. Who never even introduced herself just started the exam. My wife has had lasik several years ago and has better than 20/20. Dr. Lee didn't listen to my wife and proceeded to preform a normal eye exam. This very much frustrated my wife as we are here to identify a problem. We felt like we were just being pushed through like cattle. At one point the doctor put drops in my wife's eyes to dilate them. She excused my wife to the waiting room where she said the drops will take up to 15 minutes. In that time she seen 2 other patients. Honestly we did not feel like the doctor was any help. So at this point we feel like we just wasted our insurance money as now we may have to go to a different doctor because this seem to be a complete waste of time and just a money grab for the doctor. read more
