I found out about Evolve from Angie's List. I contacted them and spoke with Asaf (or Asaph--he…read morespells it both ways). He was very cordial over the phone and we set a day to meet to get a quote for a master bathroom remodel. I ended up using Evolve after meeting with Asaf. One of the things that sold me was his guarantee that there were no hidden costs in his quote. He made a list of things I needed to pay for and told me that his team would cover everything else. Look--nothing is ever perfect, especially when it comes to home repair/remodeling. That said, whatever issues I had (and there was nothing remotely major), Asaf handled immediately. I've never had a contractor or company rep respond almost immediately to text messages or phone calls. The work itself was great. Again, any minor thing I pointed out was fixed promptly. The craftsmanship of the tiling is pretty awesome, in particular. Craftsmanship is one thing. Service, communication, and honesty are something else entirely. I put a lot of trust in Asaf and while he wasn't the guy doing the work itself, he knew the game plan and was always more than happy to help with any of my questions or concerns. I just signed the "completion certificate" for my bathroom project and wrote a check for my final payment. As promised, there were no hidden or extra costs. I'll continue to recommend Evolve to friends and coworkers, and will get a bid from them again when I move on to my kitchen remodel. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying my new bathroom. I would be very surprised if anyone has a negative experience with Evolve that Asaf wouldn't be able to fix. I recommend them highly.

Roofing work was good…read more My issue is with the company itself. I had a representative i was intially working with who told me that Evolve would be covering the public adjuster fees if i used Evolve to do the roofing work (i have text messages from him to prove this). He also told me that I'd get $200 off my deductible if i kept their company sign in front of my house (which i did). We went through Bulldog adjusters, their preferred adjuster. Halfway through the process my representative left the company and after me having to call the company multiple times across a few months they assigned me to a new representative. My new representative confirmed over the phone that Evolve would be covering the public adjuster fees multiple times, which i specifically asked about multiple times to ensure i had the finances planned correctly. He also told me that the $200 off my deductible for the sign in my yard was not going to happen (bummer, but this was not my main issue). Eventually Evolve received the funds from my insurance and completed the work. However, after the work was completed they sent me an invoice that included the public adjuster fees and told me i had to pay them. I was very confused so i tried calling my rep 5 different times and he would not take my call. I emailed the accounts receivable department about my issue with backup and they just kept citing my contract which said that I'd be responsbile for paying anything else, even though i was told repeatedly by multiple Evolve reps that i would not have to pay for the public adjuster fees. I provided them proof of the reps telling me that i would not have to pay the fees but they did not care. I tried calling customer support on 4 different occasions and was told i'd receive a call back within 48-72 hours and never once heard back from the company. I settled up the rest of my owed balance (aside from adjuster fees) with their accounting team, but they are insisting i must pay the public adjuster fees portion otherwise they will be placing a lien on my home next week. I've tried repeatedly to get someone on the phone to discuss this with and nobody will get in touch with me. The way this company has handled this matter is extremely unprofessional and they are essentially forcing my hand after contradicting what their own company representatives have told me. It is a shady way to do business and i would not recommend working with this company in the future. I hope someone from Evolve sees this and finally reaches out to me before they decide to place a lien on my home, it should not be this difficult to get someone on the phone.

We hired Ron to do the architectural plans for the remodel of a fourplex. He came in with a fancy camera scanner to measure everything, a very efficient process. He was very much on time with the delivery of the initial draft. We discussed minor changes and submitted to the city, and they had just had a few minor corrections before approval, which is better than other architectural teams I have worked with. After we began work on the project, we discovered a beam in the ceiling was not pointing in the right direction, leading to the need for a revision to the plans. The engineer Margarito went on site and approved changes, which allowed us to quickly adapt. Overall this was a very streamlined process, I would be happy to use his services in the future and can very much recommend him.
