The clinic itself is amazing. It's clean, beautifully designed, and clearly created with kids in mind. There are video games, a giant Lite-Brite, wobble stools, flickering soft lights, safari-themed wall art, and wall-mounted animal statues. It's not just a dental office, it's a fun and a calming space that makes a big difference for children, especially those with sensory sensitivities. Dr. Kugar's practice feels so much more personal--she actually knows the names of my 2 kids. We've already seen her for 2 cleanings and a cavity fill, which was a first for us. She was so gentle, kind and warm. My kids had no hesitation having her inspect their teeth and I felt 100% confident in her recommendations for dental care. The reception area is really cute, with a little house inside with a play kitchen. In the patient area she has a great set up that offers a tad more privacy compared to the more open-concept areas, which I REALLY appreciate. All in all, we LOVE it. Today, without our consent, the dentist gave our child fluoride even with the notice on the chart. They did not ask first or tell us what they were doing. We have had the dentists at previous visits try to talk us out of our decision to refuse fluoride, which we politely declined. And that's ok, I'm open to a constructive conversation. Today, either our chart was not reviewed (which is concerning) and they're blindly treating each child the same OR they knowingly gave a treatment against parental consent. Either option is inexcusable and I would highly recommend going elsewhere.

It's not as though they didn't know or hadn't seen it. However, after being late to an appointment which was rescheduled I was ridiculed. Call me silly but I didn't want to uncontrollably vomit all over the dentist or hygienist. Frankly, it's a health risk. I could've easily choked on my vomit during treatment. You can be the best dentist but with an unprofessional, patient facing staff you will eventually lose business. Side note, somehow the office suppressed my Google review. Now I consider them unreliable.

And my hygienist was knowledgable, talked me through everything and even made a note in my chart about preferences much appreciated. Additionally, they do provide fluoride for their adult patients. This is crucial and I've been getting this ever since I've gone to the dentist. Meeting the dentist was great, she was personable and shared her advice with me about my concerns. She did not force me into any decisions and said it was my choice but she would air on the side of conservative treatment. Overall, it was a great experience and honestly I am not dreading my next appointment.

Our appointment was scheduled for 11 a.m., but by 11:35 a.m. my children still hadn't been seen. When I stepped in to check on my daughter after waiting over 40 minutes, Dr. Singh rolled her eyes at me and did not acknowledge my presence. When I calmly asked about it, she replied, "That's just my face," and questioned why she needed to acknowledge me at all. As a parent, that response was disrespectful, unprofessional, and dismissive--especially coming from someone who works with children. If "that's just your face," and you can't control your expression or tone, that's a serious issue in pediatric care. Children notice that energy, too. At our first visit six months prior, Dr. Singh told my daughter directly, "You're not doing a good job brushing your teeth, and that's why you have cavities." During this recent visit, I overheard her make the same comment to another child nearby. This pattern of communication is harsh, not educational, and can make kids feel ashamed rather than supported. Parents and children deserve to feel respected, seen, and safe at their dental appointments. I truly hope the office reviews this behavior and ensures a more compassionate environment for families moving forward.

There was no wait time, other than the time it took to fill out the new patient paperwork, and we got x-rays promptly, followed by cleanings. My step-daughter was expecting to have a follow up appointment for the second deep cleaning - the first was prior to us moving to the Indy area - but they determined it was unecessary. Instead, she will have flouride treatment for cavities. The assistant who did my cleaning was friendly and professional, and asked if I was comfortable. There was a television on the ceiling playing Grey's Anatomy, and generic 2000s pop music playing. Dr. Liang himself was also friendly, and I trust his judgment. The whole atmosphere was clean and organized, and they were an efficient office. We were in and out in 90 minutes, but it felt much quicker than that.

They charge a much higher rate than other dentists and I'd suggest just going to another dentist (I've found great care at Waterfront Family Dentist in Geist, everything has been covered under our insurance). The service care was below average and they did a terrible job at the X-Rays, having to get them re-done at another dental provider, even after sending them the ones this establishment took and sending it to them. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I'm just trying to warn others. This is my personal experience and others may find this place great. Was just turned away from my daughter's appointment because I did not respond to their SPAM. I have…read morebeen a patient here since they opened in the previous building, and have never had this issue. They had the wrong phone number on file, so the text did not go through. Was told by the office manager, "That's your fault. It's not our job to update your phone number." In years and years of being a patient we have not missed a scheduled appointment or been late on a payment. Our phone number hasn't changed. I'm not sure if the ownership has changed, or if there is a new office manager. Either way we are getting a new family dentist.
