The movers are still doing a great job this time...and I noticed the bill had a tip of 10%, which came up to about $90 for my move. I asked the lead whether they got the tip, to my surprise, he said "no"...so I tipped them...and inquire about the tipping policy...another surprise...the company responded...the tip goes to movers and office staff?????? A mandatory tip going to office staff!?!?!? My thinking is, do these mandatory tips goes toward the hourly rate for the movers? Hope not, but it is for sure something I would be very wary of...

I hired Busch movers with late notice a few days before my move (which, occurring on the cusp of the month, all movers were booked solid). The man that took my appointment was friendly and flexible - giving full details on what to expect on the day of the move. When moving day arrived, two movers arrived (early to boot!) with a huge truck to allow one trip. All fees were as quoted - with no hidden rates. No stair/hoisting fees like other movers. They were professional, efficient, had great advice for our last minute packing - and were also really funny and comforting in a stressful time. (3 probably wld of been ok) They wrapped everything, brought mattress covers, a box for 80 inch TV! They took apart beds and reesembled in the new place. They were efficient, really knew how to organize so things got done in a timely manner. We added a stop over to unload and load more stuff, and they did it with ease. They advertise as movers but can do lots of other stuff. I got them to hang 2 IKEA lack shelves which have a reputation of being a hassle to put up. They arrived on time, got the shelves up quickly with no mess or disruption and everything went off without a hitch. The 2 men who did the job were super friendly and courteous and even helped me carry a treadmill inside from the garage (too heavy for me) before they left for the day. They reply quickly and have very competitive pricing. I will definitely be using them again when I have another job at home or if I ever need moving services!
