Prompt and professional, but project overbid at my expense…read more I had an uprooted tree from a storm and wanted it removed quickly. I didn't get any other bids so that's on me. The issue is that I was bid a price based off of their employees having to climb. I was told I'd receive a 20% discount if the lift could be used, as that'd reduce the labor costs. What ultimately happened was the lift was brought, but not even taken off the trailer as no one had to climb, they removed the tree from the ground. I asked for the 20% discount but was only offered 10%. By my logic, they could've parked the lift next to the tree and not even use it, and I would've received the full 20% discount. I'm all for efficiency but I feel in this case their efficiency was to my detriment. Having to pay more for what feels like less left a bad taste in my mouth.
