Quite a few customers picked up huge pizzas to go while we were eating. There are a few picnic tables where we sat to enjoy our pizza and canned drinks. This is a very simple, laid back pizza joint. We thought it was a great value to spend $13 on four slices of pizza and two canned drinks. What a nice change of pace from all the fancy restaurants and bars. The following day I attempted to address this incident with their management to which I was met with the title of ignorant and rude for not leaving a tip. When we called, the menu seems limited and doesn't match the online menu. BUT when I asked for a white pizza they said they could make it. They delivered to our condo door and it was fantastic. Very poor service from the older woman with brown hair.. we went twice during our visit and both times were unpleasant because of the same woman. First, we were waiting to order and we watched her yell and snap to get the attention of some other people deciding what they wanted.. since when is it okay to treat paying customers like that? Second, we were about to order and she deliberately looks at the people next in line and takes theirs then tells us to move so she can let them pay.. We were all shocked. Today me and a four of my friends decided to go into Vito's pizza to get food after hearing good things about it. Upon walking in and ordering two pizzas. One of my friends laughingly and jokingly asked if we could have a free slice because we were so hungry. Although the servers took the joke light heartedly, the cook decided to take it another way. Immediately he started yelling at us demanding us to get out of his store for asking for "a free piece of pizza". We repeatedly told him that what my friend said was just a joke and that we meant nothing by it, especially because we had just ordered two pizzas. He continued to yell and even followed us out of the store trying to escalate the situation into a physical conflict. We ordered 3 pizzas: cheese, feta-mushroom, and mushroom-green pepper. Everyone enjoyed them and ate more than they thought they would. They only have one size and it's a pretty big pizza. The side salads that we got were fresh. They have Ranch, Blue Cheese, and Creamy Italian salad dressings and, unfortunately, they were out of the creamy Italian dressing. Do not ever come here. The employees and management feel entitled to tips for COUNTER SERVICE and throw tantrums when you don't tip. They reheat the pizza ands give it to you. Drinks are in bottles. The employee at the counter will refuse service over not tipping. When you complain to the management, they support the employee and are of the mindset that not tipping for COUNTER SERVICE makes you a jerk. It is totally unfathomable that any business operates in this way and I do not ever recommend stepping foot inside this embarrassment of an establishment. read more

BUT, the pizza maker, I believe his name is Jason (they would not tell me his name over the phone.. he had gauges in his ears) was extremely rude and condescending to both customers and other employees. I had mentioned that I wanted to order a drink multiple times, but he did not ring it up. And when I mentioned it again, he tried to argue with me and say that I never ordered a drink. When I would ask any question he would make a short rude response, which occurred instantly after walking in. The customers before us had even mentioned something to us as they had a similar encounter. Our unfortunate experience today ended with 2 extremely sloppily cut pizza slice thrown in our face. I have always loved Vito's this was absurd. Tonight when I was ordering an entire pizza to go, I tipped 10% and then upon doing so and walking out the door, one of the workers, a young man, chased us out the door screaming about how he included " extra ranches" and deserved a better tip for including them, even though we certainly never asked for it. He was so upset we didn't tip " extra" for him including such ranches ( again 2 that we never asked for) saying we did not " tip enough" for an extra $1 worth of ranch. After already tipping 10% for some old pizza we watched them move from the window into our box. He then stood outside and harassed us for extra cash for him happening to include some extra ranch cups... it was an embarrassment to him and also the establishment. I have worked many years in the service industry and would NEVER demand an extra tip... especially after already getting a tip for providing 0 service. This is why people feel the tipping culture is getting out of hand when ACTUAL service industry workers are suffering because children that get paid hourly are chasing people out the door for an extra $2. 0/10 from Vito's. I hope this young man gets reprimanded for his inappropriate behavior. read more

Facility is okay. Tv is louder than the music. Basketball is playing on tv in the corner of restaurant. Ordered a cheese pizza and a Neptune veggie pizza, Pizza on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 5. Staff was not very friendly from The cashier to the guy in the blue shirt. Was served the pizza at the table with a frown from the gentleman. I'm a friendly person and I like smiles & I was greeted with a frown. Would not recommend for family. I'm not sure where to begin or what to say quite honestly. We had heard rumors about unfriendly, inappropriate staff behavior during the late night hours, but never thought we'd experience it. I'd avoid this place, especially after being told, "you aren't allowed to come back here". Long story short, we order pizza, show up to get it, pay for it and didn't tip. Never have I had a tip jar shaken in my face, reminding me, "our wages are based on tips". Before I could even react, a friend I was with said, "what's done is done, let's go". I won't be bullied into giving a pizza employee a tip for handing me the pizza I paid for and that he is paid to make? what am i missing? the hand off over the counter is now means for tipping? Regardless on your position on tipping, to call the employees behavior "normal" or to think that's how they were trained to interact with the public is absurd.
