Updating this review to 5 stars. Salita is cranking out some of the highest quality food in the city, their pizza is excellent, but I think I love their bagels even more. They are probably the best bagels I have had outside of New York City, and even compete with some bagels I have had their. They have some really interesting flavor combinations for their bagel sandwiches and their pizza bagels are top notch.

One man's burnt pizza... apparently is Salita's wood fired. If you want the potential to taste char, not pizza, come here. I've been here multiple times before and never had this but this is in the range of acceptable. I showed them the pizza and they said "well, it's wood fired". Proper response would have been, "it's wood fired but yeah, if that's a little over cooked we can make another if you want?" 3 - stars because it was 5 star before and averaged it out

The crust is incredible!!!! The artichoke-sausage needed more cheese, but still a great pizza.

Fabulous wood fired pizza in an even more cool setting in the Cargo District of Wilmington! Grabbed an IPA from the Alley Bar and our pizzas were delivered to our table!

Tavernnnn (dont mind the bite I took before taking the pic)

YUM. Their tavern pizzas are amazing!! Truly thin and crispy! Nothing like it in town.

Convenient walk-up pizza spot in the Cargo District. Worth the wait (wasn't even too long), worth the pizza. Pizza cooked to perfection and pepperoni was 10/10. The Calabrian chili and its chili oil made it even more bomb. One of the better eats in the cargo district. Would highly recommend.

Amazing pizza! Had the alla Norma, perfect blend of flavors. Chewy crust, delicious tomato sauce...everything just worked! It was so good, we considered coming back in the same weekend! Cute concept with window ordering - friendly, quick service. Don't miss this one!!!

Very cute spot when your in the cargo district. Service was good and quick! Pizza was delicious. Crust and sauce were salty and just yum. But, not really worth $15. The pizza was very small and just doesn't match the price. But it was good and I guess that's what you'd expect when you're in the cargo district.

She told us about all of the specials and gave us suggestions to help us select our meal, honestly her personality alone made us want to come back but the food sealed the deal. We started with the Filet Tartine which absolutely blew us away, then shared the beef Wellington and the brussells, this was our first time having a Wellington and on top of being delicious the tableside service was outstanding! The side of brussells were the star for sure, with pancetta and apricot, savory but sweet. So amazing. We also shared a few drinks throughout the meal, the tiramisu martini, the lemon meringue, gardens of Augustus, and the10 year tawny, everything was amazing, though we're definitely coming back for the tiramisu martinis! And finally, don't get me started on the view, the large windows face out over the river and look out to the battleship, we got there right as the sun was setting and added to the romance of it all. Overall we had the best Valentines anniversary of 4 years thanks the Ella and her team at Sugo, Thanks!

My vodka sauce (and one of my friend's as well) was only lukewarm and very thin, more like a watery tomato soup than a sauce. Oddly, the noodles themselves were extremely hot, but so soft that it was hard to even pick them up without them breaking apart. My husband ordered a baked ziti, and his dish was even worse, the noodles were completely overdone and lacked any structure. You could not stir the cheese in without the noodles shredding. When we brought this up, the staff seemed a bit confused, so we showed them how easily the noodles were falling apart. Instead of being apologetic or acknowledging the issue, the response felt more like, "Okay, so what do you want?" which came across as a bit abrasive and dismissive. They did still charge us for our appetizer and drinks (one cocktail and a soda), which felt a bit off given the situation. It wasn't necessarily about the cost, but more about the lack of effort to make things right, it just didn't feel like there was much care in how the situation was handled. We've had better experiences on Resy before, so this visit was disappointing. Atmosphere was ok. Temp was fine.
