Salita is a great spot! I got the burrata pizza and it definitely satisfied my pizza craving! That said, it was a little small for $22. Additionally, there are no free water cups so you have to pay extra for water which I find a little bit disappointing. One more thing to know before you go- there is no indoor seating. I don't have words for how much I LOVE Salita. Anytime I'm close to Wilmington it's a must stop for me. Their pizza is always super creative and really leans into seasonal ingredients. This latest time we got the pepper Caesar salad which reminded me of all of the things that are beautiful about summer time. I've made it at home three times since this visit lol! I mean come on. This is by far the BEST pizza in wilmington. We go pretty regularly and every single time it is consistently phenomenal. You can tell they use very good quality ingredients and put a lot of love into their pies. Also the fact that they're wood fired is just amazing. The staff is always super nice and accommodating. One may say the pizzas are a little pricey but when you factor in the quality ingredients alongside the no tipping policy, the price makes sense. They are probably the best bagels I have had outside of New York City, and even compete with some bagels I have had their. Ordered online, which was a easy and quick process. Finding the place, is a whole nother matter. I parked in the cargo district parking lot right behind CheeseSmith, and walked down to the takeout window, which is right next to crafted outpost. There are three outdoor benches around the corner, two covered, one open in the sun for seating. They are only takeout. Only pizzas are available at the moment. They eventually plan to have soft serve ice cream, beer, and wine available in the future. Ordered the kale and Bomba pizza ($18 each), which are around 10 1/2 inches diameter each, so a bit pricey. They were both cut in four slices. I ate half of each and was full. They were both good, thin crust, crispy. The kale comes with spicy cream, mozzarella, garlic, and thinly sliced speck (ham) and the Bomba came with red sauce, provolone cheese, Calabrian chile, pepperoni and basil. The kale was more spicy compared to the Bomba. I liked the lemon flavor of the kale pizza, and the red sauce on the Bomba was not overly sweet. Definitely would come here again. Better to order online instead of in person so you don't have to wait unless you want to shop around while you wait. read more

Very cute spot when your in the cargo district. Service was good and quick! Pizza was delicious. Crust and sauce were salty and just yum. But, not really worth $15. I got pizza here a few weeks ago, and it was absolutely delicious. Easily up there with Cugino Forno and Benny's. The problem with Salita is not the quality, it's the fact that the pizzas are not large enough to be considered a meal, yet they cost as much or more than a specialty pizza from Cugino Forno and Benny's. If they made larger pizzas and still charged more, I probably would already have been back several times. However, I just can't pay for a pizza that is too small to be a full meal for the price of a 14" pizza elsewhere. If Salita's can just make full size pies they'll be absolutely golden. read more

Just a five minute walk around the corner, and I was greeted with the smell of baked bread, savory sauce, and cheese Of course I looked at the menu before I got there and knew that I was going to order the Bomba. The Bomba is a spicy pepperoni pizza with just the right amount of fresh basil to offset the richness of the pizza. This is a pepperoni pizza that went to Oxford University and graduated at the top of its class. The perfectly cooked crust with just the right amount of caramelized, extra crispy spots was the cherry on top of a nearly perfect pizza. The only thing that was less than perfect was the size of the pizza for the price. From a quality over quantity perspective, the price was right, but this economy will limit this to a "treat myself," special occasion pizza. read more
