‼ INSURANCE SCAM. I just got up and walked out. They intentionally mislead you -- it's an extremely dystopian experience. I talked to someone over the phone who said I would need "a few visits to establish care" before they could perform a procedure. I asked what that meant, and it changed to 2, and then changed to 1. They took my insurance info and said I was covered. You get there, and after collecting your data (photo, social security number, insurance, name, employer info -- and they have you give it digitally AND on a hard copy) they sit you in a glass room (like a car dealership) to "discuss billing" and make you watch a video from their founder that makes it clear that they're "human" and "can mess up." They OVERemphasize that you should ask questions if something is unclear. When the billing person came in, she said "don't worry, you're not in trouble." Bizarre. Over the phone, they said I was in network. In person, they said "we're excited to share that you are covered by both in and out of network benefits," and that "today it'll just be a copay," which I asked them to clarify. After a couple back-and-fourths she finally says that I am *OUT* of network. They use intentionally misleading language to make it sound like you're covered, full-stop. They dodge direct questions with word salad. Completely unethical. The experience feels like a scam from start to finish. I was mislead by positive reviews, and now seeing the 1-star reviews am SO glad I left. Steer VERY clear.

I wish I can  give this place a 0 stars . I was treated like complete trash . This place is all about money and not about women's health. Once they bill your insurance they completely ignore you . I was hospitalized for 5 days after a UFE  and they ignored my emails and calls. I have seeked  council, these people need to be exposed. All these ladies are paid actors. This place has the worst staff. Rude , careless and disrespectful and ghetto!!! I want them out of business so bad so not one more women will suffer the way I did . They don't deserve to be in business. Dr. Gohart (the owner) is full of crap ( cash cow). These people have to be the worst healthcare providers on this planet. I can't wait to further expose them . I have videos pictures emails and more . Women be SMART DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR HEALTH IN THEIR HANDS!!!

Such a nice office. Cheerful, clean, and comfortable. They have a tea and water station and multiple seating areas. The staff is welcoming and gives clear instructions, as today was my first appointment and I didn't know what to expect. After confirming I completed the intake forms already, they had me provide a urine sample and upload my ID, insurance card, answer some Covid-related questions, and sign a HIPAA document. From there, I briefly met with Bernadette, who I believe works in billing. She explained what is covered and what isn't in terms of services and gave me a welcome folder with some helpful details. After, I waited for less than 5 minutes before being called into my appointment, which went well. The medical/nurse assistant and APRN Sydney were super sweet and made me feel comfortable. Really happy that I made the decision to come to this practice. Note- the office is on the 6th floor of the building.

My experience at Viva Eve was unacceptable. Despite confirming in advance that my visit would be in-network, I was told upon arrival that "Viva Eve isn't in-network for almost anyone" and that I'd be billed out-of-network. This kind of bait-and-switch is misleading and unethical. The billing explanation was equally troubling--vague language about insurance covering "what they want" and the rest being "up to the patient, but we won't come after you." They show numerous insurance providers that they "accept on their website" and of course do not follow through with this once you come to your appointmentThat alone should raise red flags. I waited over an hour without seeing a single provider. After checking in twice, I eventually had to leave. No one followed up, and no one seemed to care. Afterward, I checked the one-star reviews and realized this is a recurring pattern - misleading insurance info, confusing billing, long wait times, and poor communication. I wish I had read them earlier. The concept may sound promising, but the execution is a mess. Proceed with caution.

A beautiful space, wonderful staff, and kind and awesome doctors. BUT they DO NOT take any major insurance and are out-of-network despite claiming when you call and on their website (see attached screenshot) and on numerous referral websites, including ZocDoc, that they do. New patients are taken into a room and given a lengthy spiel about how they bill and you will never have to pay. There is also some confusing talk of how your insurance company may send you the money for their services and their out-of-network lab and then you would put it in your account and bring them cash or sign the check over to them. It's was all very confusing, sketchy, and annoying AFTER they claimed they took my insurance and were in-network online and also when I called before booking the appointment. I am not sure what kind of crazy is now going to occur with my insurance when they bill. But patients shouldn't be bookkeepers or worrying about billing. We should be able to pay our co-pays and they should take it from there. Multiple patients in the waiting room that got "the talk" were, like me, not happy with this bait and switch. Will see what happens but something doesn't seem right. In addition, I was suffering serious pelvic pain when I went in so was stuck. But I needed an immediate solution, not months of figuring stuff out over multiple appointments with a weird, possibly illegal, insurance policy. And finally, I was trying to call all day for my test results and kept being rolled over to an answering service -- IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY!!! This is beyond ridiculous. Most doctors' offices have answering services for AFTER HOURS! It is 11:45am and no one is picking up!

Like wow, look at this! This is a DOCTORS office waiting room? It's giving Wellness.

I finally was diagnosed in August 2018 after my first laparoscopic surgery to remove a cyst on my ovary. The doctor who performed my first surgery refused to do anything while in there other than take pictures because my endometriosis was so bad. I found Dr. Seckin through online search and went to see him for the first time in December 2018. When I got to the office I met Dr. Liu who made me so comfortable while explaining all of my symptoms and going over everything with me. She was very knowledgeable and helped me realize some symptoms I was having that I didn't even realize were related to endometriosis. After speaking with Dr. Liu I met with her and Dr. Seckin together and they confirmed everything that I knew was wrong was related to endometriosis and gave me options for moving forward. I decided that I wanted the surgery and to get everything done so I could move past this. We scheduled surgery that same day for January 2019. In January I went to the city the day before my surgery and met with both the doctors again and they made me feel that they were very confident in the surgery. I arrived at the hospital the next day and even though there was a mix up and I had to wait even longer for my surgery, Doctor Seckin and Dr. Liu sat with me, hugged me and held my hand through a panic attack assuring me that everything was going to be fine and they were going to help me. That surgery has made life so much better for me and I have had little pain since then. I met with them once more after my surgery and things were going great. I go back one more time in March 2019 to see them again as my case was abnormal. All in all I am so glad that I found Dr. Seckin and Dr. Liu and decided to go to them. All of their staff is very helpful and pleasant. I feel very lucky and blessed to have found them and I know that they were the doctors I was meant to see and they have forever changed my life for the better. I can only hope that more women find doctors as great as Dr. Seckin and Dr. Liu because this disease needs the best treatment out there and they truly are the best.

He saved my ovary, freed…read moreboth of my ureters from endometriosis, freed my nerves, and removed extensive endometriosis tissues. Let me repeat that: he freed nerves that had become trapped by endometriosis. I don't think many people, even doctors, realize how technically demanding that is. But getting to this point was a long journey of trying to understand what was actually happening inside my body. I had gotten used to monthly period pain and heavy bleeding --I have a very high pain tolerance. I had also gone through two previous surgeries, 10 years apart, to remove fibroids that kept coming back. Last year, something changed. I started having sharp flank pain traveling toward my ovary and radiating down my leg. It woke me up from sleeps. Walking hurt. Sitting hurt. Sometimes my lower abdomen felt freezing, other times burning. An ultrasound showed a 6.2 cm blood-filled cyst covering my right ovary. That's when I decided that if I was going to have surgery again, I wanted the best surgeon I could find. That's how I found Dr. Seckin. At my first appointment, he carefully listened to my history and symptoms. He asked very specific questions that connected other symptoms I was experiencing that I had never thought could be related. Because of brain fog, I remembered additional things later and shared them with his team. They added everything to my file, including my allergies and medical history. Before my scheduled surgery, I ended up in the ER with severe pain. They initially suspected ovarian torsion and scheduled emergency surgery that day. Later, they told me, "Good news, your endometrioma is smaller. It's now 5.2 cm." But that wasn't good news. My endo was leaking. ... I didn't want someone to cut me open and sacrifice my organs without understanding the full picture. I wanted a surgeon who understood this disease. Dr. Seckin and his team had a very good understanding of what was happening and had a plan. The ultrasound showed the large endo, but the MRI and CT scan didn't show the full extent of the disease. They suspected my endometriosis had spread much further, and surgery confirmed it. I am grateful for Dr. Seckin I also want to thank the hospital and nurses. My pain was well controlled when I woke up, and the nurses helped me get moving quickly. My first walk was with a nurse, and after that I was able to walk several more times on my own. ‍ I'm still recovering, so my journey isn't over yet. But I finally feel like someone understood what was happening inside my body instead of only treating what showed up on a scan. The scans showed only a small part of what Dr. Seckin actually found and treated during surgery.

I had been let down by 11 "Endo specialists", saying they didn't know how to help me further & "all of your endo was removed during your surgeries". Specialists additionally, gaslit me, saying my deep right leg pain could not be related to endometriosis. Seckin Endometriosis Center was just as wonderful as I had hoped. Due to his specialized training and experience in advanced excision of complex and nerve-involved endometriosis he suspected sciatic endometriosis with possible vascular entrapment immediately & he validated my right-sided leg pain & my symptom pattern. He immediately called his friend, vascular surgeon, Dr. Pamoukian to collaborate with him so I could get the best care possible. "I have a very interesting case for you..."- he said & told him to get to his office to meet me. Not, "We can't help this woman, she'll just have to live like this", not "it's not Endo they already excised all of it during your hysterectomy" not "have you explored the option of this pain being psychosomatic?" He looked at me with a face of, "let's do everything we can to figure this out together"... a face of determination, genuine empathy & curiosity. My eyes swelled with tears as I read hand-written letters that expressed heartfelt sentiment from parents of endo warriors-"Thank you for giving my daughter her life back...." Proudly framed on display. I am inhaling and exhaling genuine hope for the first time! Because he possesses unique, highly specialized skills, he routinely treats patients who have been turned away by other surgeons due to the risk of organ or nerve injury. My prior surgeries failed not because surgery was unnecessary, but because critical lesions could not be safely removed by providers without this level of subspecialty expertise. He is a GEM, who wants to spread education and awareness - he trains other surgeons to do what he does so his skills don't HAVE to be unique to him- so more surgeons can help more women- he is truly an inspiration. SO GRATEFUL!

I went in for a pelvic pain/endometriosis visit and during the appointment was told I was overdue for my annual exam, so preventive services were completed at the same time. What was never proactively communicated was that this would result in multiple separately billed visits and hundreds of dollars in unexpected patient responsibility. After seeing the high-level claims in my insurance portal, I requested an itemized statement and billing/coding information from Lizaveta, the billing coordinator, so I could understand the charges submitted to my insurance. Instead, this turned into an exhausting back-and-forth where the requested information was repeatedly not provided. My issue is the lack of transparency, lack of proactive communication regarding billing implications, and how unnecessarily difficult it was to obtain basic billing documentation. As someone with endometriosis who unfortunately has extensive experience navigating healthcare billing and insurance, this was a simple request made unnecessarily difficult. While I have liked the doctors I've seen at Pure OBGYN, my interactions with the billing department have unfortunately left me with a very negative impression of the practice overall. Because of this experience, I would actively advise any friends, family, or other patients reading this from being seen at this practice.

I looked at a few different clinics but out of all of the clinics I toured, CUFC was the place I felt most comfortable. I knew that I would be able to have a child with the help of doctors and specialists at CUFC. My road to getting enough embryos for a transfer was long and unforgiving. When I suffered set-backs, Dr. Bishop and the care team provided me with the space to grieve while always being ready to reengage. When I decided to do an FET, I went in with very low expectations- the story I told myself was that my egg were "poor quality" and thus I shouldn't hope for one of my embryos to implant in my uterus. Dr. Bishop had faith and encouraged me to lean into the possibility.
