I booked Viva for my wedding and let's just say there was mis-communication. I talked with Ken who was very nice and helpful. My wedding required some organization as I had a few different locations to go to. Last we talked I thought we had it squared away. Here's what happened: First: Party Bus = Shuttle. They arrived right on time so that was great and no one was late to the wedding. Shuttle came back right on time and took us from ceremony to reception. I was promised the limo would have champagne for us to celebrate after the ceremony. There were champagne glasses but no champagne. So that was disappointing. Here is a direct quote of what I was promised: "Yes we always provide champagne for the group ( 1 bottle per six ppl so you will get 2 bottles). As for decorations we typically try to dress up the inside with wedding party colors and a couple signs." Yeah there was 0 of that. 2nd thing was when they came back to pick us up after the party was done. Luckily I was in a good mood b/c they did not come back in the party bus like they promised. They came back in a standard sized limo. I had told them to pick us up in the party bus since that's what I paid for. The shuttle held 12 people, I needed to get 12 people back, the Limo only held 8 people I think. So I told the driver deal with it we're all cramming into the limo so the bride and groom sat on the floor of the limo with their bridal party laid like sardines on top of us. Ugh....I just hate miscommunication when I put in so much effort to make sure everything was squared away and the Limo was, I thought, one of the only vendors I didn't have to stress about and turned out this was the only vendor that messed up! read more

I would give this company a 10 if i could. Before booking with Viva, I did some research on YELP and called a few different companies, but Ken was the only one that actually spent the time on the phone with me to ask the right questions: what is my goal for the event? How much time do I want to spend during the day for wine tasting? What about lunch? and my answer was ... This event will be "first time" for most of my guests and I just want a safe, fun and hassle free day or everyone. Immediately, Ken responded with OK!!! then you do not want a limo considering you will have 16 people, it will be crazy getting in and out of the limo after a few drinks. He recommended the mini party bus. OMG the mini party bus was the highlight of our day!!!!! I can't tell you enough how successful it was to be able to celebrate my 40th birthday with my family and close friends. We also booked Ken to pick us up from our house and take us to Pechanga, we had our own personal DD :-) Thank you Ken for providing such an awesome service. Please read if you're planning on using them: I was in contact with Ken at Viva Limousine. I assumed based on reviews that they were a reputable company. Unfortunately, they are the furthest thing from it. I had ordered a party bus, wine tour for a surprise bachelorette party. We were a party of 12. I cannot put into words how excited we all were- we are hardworking people and hardworking Mom's finally able to get away for some girl time to celebrate our friend! We were getting picked up in San Diego, and taken to 3 wineries in Temecula, and driven back. We were told the bus would be decorated with 'bachelorette themed' decorations and that champagne would be provided. The champagne was provided as well as the glasses. However, the 'decorations' were CHEAP and had been used 100x prior to us. They were ripped and faded. It was a disappointment considering it probably costs $10 at Party City to spring for a new ones, but that wasn't the issue! We were scheduled from 11am-4pm. The weeks prior to the date, I was told multiple times, to please be 10 minutes early and prompt as everything runs on a tight schedule. NO PROBLEM! We were on time and waiting outside at 10 minutes to 11am. The party bus rolled up at 11:25am without a phone call or text. I finally reached out to Ken at about 11:15 am and he responded "he should be there." So we were already 25/35 minutes late with no apology or reasoning. Well, once we got on board, the first thing our driver Eddie said was "where is the cash?" We laughed- thinking he was joking- RIGHT? C'mon man...you were just 30 mins late, but unfortunately he wasn't kidding. He said, "We don't leave until I get paid." Well, we were ready to pay, I had all the cash in an envelope- I just didn't realize I couldn't set my purse down first. (Oh well, I get it. Get the cash and the tour will start) Once I paid, we were off and rolling, ready for the day to start. We were excited, taking pictures, listening to music etc. About 10 minutes into our ride, we asked Eddie to please turn the air up- it was quickly heating up in the bus. He did, but unfortunately the bus never cooled off. 10 mins later, we said something again, everyone is now sweating, and Eddie said "It'll cool off once we hit the freeway and the bus gets moving." Makes sense...so we waited. Well, the bus never cooled off or came anywhere close to it. Even Eddie was pouring in sweat. The bus was a miserable, a hell hole. We opened the windows, but unfortunately it was 93 degrees out so we didn't find much relief (and the windows were very small, so there was very little air flow). The bus ride was a little over an hour long and we were miserable the entire time. Multiple people on the bus got car sick due to the heat. When we got to the first winery, we couldn't wait to get off the bus and get some fresh air. As we were getting off the bus, Eddie told me he was going to call back to home base and see what he could do because even he agreed, the bus was miserable. Winery #1 came and went, and we were off to winery #2. It was only a 7 min ride, but it was hell on board, however we understood it would be hard for a bus to cool off quickly. As we got off, Eddie brought us our 'gourmet lunch.' We each ordered salads/sandwiches. They were the furthest thing from gourmet. They looked and tasted like they were bought at a local gas station. After lunch, the ladies went on to start their second tasting, but I went and spoke with Eddie to see if he had contacted Ken. He said that Ken said "there was nothing he could do." So I get it- probably hard to bring a new bus up, but I don't think it was too much to ask for some sort of compensation. Multiple people on our tour couldn't drink because they were car sick from the heat. Our entire day was ruined. I literally had one small tasting just so I could toast to the bride. We went to the 3rd stop, but by that time everyone wanted to go home. Everyone was miserable, sick and overheated. After we returned home, we cleared out the bus and tipped Eddie. Aside from being late and demanding the money before we even sat down, he was very kind and was trying to help us with the bus. Again, he was in hell sweating with us. He said he would go back and try and talk with Ken, but warned us that he wouldn't understand. Needless to say, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY under any circumstance. We wasted $1500 and couldn't enjoy what was supposed to be a joyous bachelorette celebration. STAY AWAY!! ** I reached out to Ken 3 times before posting this to see if we could come to some sort agreement. I was hoping for some sort of compensation and perhaps a simple apology. He replied once, 3 days later, and said he would talk with Eddie. I never heard back. I waited 25 days before posting this- as this was a last resort. I wouldn't want ANYONE to have to go through a day like we did for $1500. read more

After reading the reviews on here, I decided to use Viva for my Niece's 40th Surprise Birthday. I had emailed Ken inquiring about pricing and some other questions I had. He responded right away and said the best vehicle for us would be the Expedition Limo. We set it up and we went this past Friday, May 2nd, 2014. If they would let me rate this Company with 10 stars, I would!! Although there were only 5 of us (we decided to keep the Men at home), it was absolutely perfect! Rich was our Driver and you could not have asked for a nicer person. My Sister has to walk with a cane and he attended to her needs every step of the way to make sure she was comfortable. He was funny and at the same time very professional. We let him decide which wineries to take us to and we were definitely not disappointed. None of us knew that there were wineries called the "back 12". The 2 for 1 Coupons were GREAT!! Rich even made us lunch reservations at one of the restaurants. Great food, great Company and it was the best time any of us have ever had thanks to Rich. I have already emailed Ken to book our next trip at the end of the Month. My wine tour disaster story: Last weekend was my much awaited annual winery tour with my girlfriends. I feel compelled to share how disappointed we were with Viva limousine's service. We live in Carlsbad and many of us are wine enthusiasts. I spent a lot of time researching the wineries on the list they provided for me and I carefully selected Danza Del Sol, Couger, and Monte de Oro. And despite confirming those selections TWICE, when Vivo's driver arrived to pick us up, his list showed three completely different wineries!? Rather than cause a fuss on the spot (and since everything was already supposedly set for us at those) we went along with it. Not only did it take me time to research the wineries on my own, but I take pride in my winery selections and this was an embarrassment. In addition to the wineries, I also earlier confirmed the total price of $99 person (x10 girls) multiple times. When the driver arrived he attempted to charge almost $1200 (I forget the exact total but that's close). Thank goodness I had the email confirmations in my phone to show him or that could've been the end of our trip right there. Following that bit of uneasiness and frustration, we started on our tour. The first winery they chose was completely packed (and SO touristy we've all been there). The second winery was one we already visited on our wine trip the previous year and had no interest in revisiting. and third winery, where we also had their "lunch" supplied by a "catering company" was an utter joke. Even the wine at the 3rd stop was mediocre at best and we were all soaked with overactive misters in our designated lunch area. So much so that a couple girls' hair and outfits were drenched and our chairs kept sinking into the oversaturated ground. Finally we just had to leave as some of the girls were getting too wet and couldn't stand it. The food they provided to us (which I also had to order twice because they apparently switched "caterers") was also a disappointment. The sandwiches had price stickers on them like they were bought at a gas station convenience store and one of the salads opened up in the bag and spilled out all over the back of the limo. Hardly worth the extra $10 each -- especially since I know exactly how much they all cost from the affixed price tags. The next day I sent Viva Limousines an email about our troubling experience. I figured I would give them a chance to explain or apologize before going straight to Yelp.... but I never got any response. I'm not a big complainer but this experience was so negative that it inspired me to write my first Yelp review. With so many wine tour/limo companies to choose from in Temecula, I'm shocked that they seem to care so little for the details that are so important. Ken you're the MAN!! While planning a wine tour for my friend's bachlorette party Ken was amazing from the get go. He was timely in responding to my emails and very helpful through the planning process. On the day of the bachlorette party he was so patient and did a great job at managing 8 drunken girls. He not only kept count that all of the girsl were back in the limo but he has made sure we had all of our stuff. We went a half over on our scheduled time and was completely unfazed by it. We had everything lined up in minutes. He made the whole transaction very simple. When Ken arrived with his limo--on time and fully stocked--we were blown away by how nice his ride was. We've been in tons of limos, both here in So Cal and up in Napa and Sonoma. This car was several notches above anything else we've ridden in. (It's amazing to me how many sub-par limos are out there.) I highly recommend Viva Limousine! The entire experience was just great. Myself and a friend of mine wanted to celebrate our birthdays by doing a party bus wine tour here in Temecula. I spoke with Ken who was very professional on the phone and their prices were very competitive. I can't say enough good things about Ken. He is very knowledgeable about the wineries. He was able to give suggestions on where to go based on what we were looking for, namely places that weren't too popular/commercialized, where they had live music, places known for good wines, places with a great view/ambiance. He hit the nail on the head on all points! My friends and I, who have lived in Temecula for a few years and have visited the usual wineries such as South Coast, Ponte, etc., were wowed by these wineries we had never heard of before or even bothered visiting. Not only that, but with the package we got, all the tastings were set up before hand at all of the wineries and lunch was included. What my friends liked was the option to pay separately the day of. That way one person didn't have to pay a large lump some for everyone. The bus we we rented was top notch. It was spacious, clean, came equipped with a bumping sound system, lights, and was well appointed with an area stocked with ice and pink/purple cups. Bring your own drinks as you will definitely want to utilize this as your mobile bar, haha. My favorite feature was the ostrich print material on the benches. Small detail, but a nice touch. It gave the bus a bit of flair. If you're looking for a party bus, give Viva Limousine some serious consideration. The bride had booked a different company to take us to the wineries, and they messed up our reservation. We called Viva Limousine on a hope and a prayer that someone could pick us up last minute due to the other companies error. Not only were they able to accommodate us last minute, but they showed up to pick us up within 15 minutes of calling. Let me start first by saying that Ken and his team at Viva Limo were successful in providing transportation for MOST of the services that we paid for. The issue is that when a problem did arise in their service, the way they dealt with the scenario was extremely unprofessional and incompetent. We hired Viva Limousine to transport our guests and wedding party for our big day in Temecula. With all the great reviews, we trusted them as our go to for transportation so that we would not have to worry about this on our wedding day. Man, were we wrong. To start, the limos that were scheduled to pick up the bride and groom early, which was great because we were all ready to go. The groom's limo did get rear ended during the transport, not Viva's fault, but no one ever called to follow up to see if everyone was ok. The problem came with the busses that were scheduled to pick up our wedding guests from the hotel. WE had to suggest to THEM to change some of the pick up times for our guests due to road closures. With 2 scheduled pick ups to bring guests to the venue, first bus came just fine, but the second one came on time, but left four minutes early! Early sounds good right? Except for the fact that the bus left while EIGHT of our guests were waiting at the lobby! They said the driver did go in and saw no guest so he decided to just leave without notifying us. My guests said they were there 10 mins before the scheduled departure, but didn't see anyone come in to find them. The WORST PART comes when our guests checked with us at 5:30 asking us where the bus was to pick them up. I called Viva and Kathy answered. She said that she would find out what was going on and would text us right back. Five minutes later, no call, no text, no explanation. We called back and she said the shuttle is already back at the office and it left at 5:16 like no big deal. Didn't think to call us back to notify us and actually started yelling at me, the bride, saying what difference does 4 minutes make? I had to stop the arguing back and forth because it wasn't solving anything. Keep in mind, I'm angry and in tears 15 minutes before walking down the aisle. So not only was she not apologetic, she failed to notify us until we called back, and made it seem like everything was our guests' fault. The conversation with Kathy showed that she was incredibly unprofessional and is completely unacceptable in the service industry. We did chat Ken about our experience before posting this. He offered to only refund the 4 minutes the bus left early so like a $12 refund, but would absolutely not refund us for the shuttle's failure to pick eight of our guests, who happened to miss part of the ceremony. Really? Let's say this were a plane and it left 4 minutes early, failing to take you to your destination. You would definitely demand to get a refund for your flight because it didn't get you to where you needed to go. READ: For any potential customers hoping for a transportation service that you can trust on and also know that you don't have to worry about your big moment being spoiled worrying about transportation, PLEASE THINK TWICE with VIVA. When things go right, no problem, but how they dealt with mishaps that are bound to happen was completely incompetent. read more

Viva Limousine is amazing!!!! Ken and Kathy were so nice and so easy to work with. My husband and I got married over labor day weekend. We live in the Los Angeles area so most of our guests were going to be staying in hotels in Temecula. I contacted Viva and talked to Kathy first. I was kind of nervous about transporting all of our guests and making sure the timing was right with pick up and drop off but Kathy was so reassuring and made me feel at ease about getting everyone to and from the venue. After our first talk I booked with them instantly! As it got closer to the event I talked to Ken about all the final details. They laid out a clear time line which was so helpful because I was able to tell all my guests where to be and at what time. All of the limos and shuttles were on time and everything went exactly as planned. After the wedding we had an early shuttle for people that wanted to leave a little earlier, and then one that left right at the end of the reception. A lot of the guests didn't want to end the party at 10 so they even stopped by a liquor store on the way back to the hotel so we could get some more drinks :) If you need transportation for your wedding, I would use Viva Limousine! We had the pleasure of working with Ken for our big wedding day!! My husband and i renewed our vows on our four year wedding anniversary thanks to a non profit who made it all happen. My husband and I eloped before his first deployment to Afghanistan and he was severely injured on his second deployment. Our dreams of having a wedding were washed away to to expenses. In response to Ken's comment I will first say that absolutely the service for the cruise was great so I am upping the stars to 3... with that said I will tell you that I received a call from some gal representing Viva telling me that they only worked in Temecula and that I should find someone else. I am sure that this is when Ken was gone but it was months after our initial but brief discussion about my daughter's wedding. I Used viva limo this past weekend for my best friends bachelorette wine tour, and I could not have been happier with their services!!! Throughout the planning there were two occasions of minor confusion with payment & scheduling but both times it was worked out immediately. The day of our limo arrived punctual, fully decorated, and fully stocked! Ken our driver, and coordinator did a superb job! He scheduled wineries that were great quality! Ken was sure to plan the wineries around which ones had live entertainment and which ones were the least busy to fit our large group of 14 ladies! Our party was so impressed with how organized the day was, allowing everyone to just sit back and relax!! I will most definitely use this company again and I will recommend it to anyone looking for this type of service! Viva Limo did a wonderful job transporting us back to our hotels after our wedding. Whn we first met with Kathy, she was very helpful in helping us figure out timelines and meeting our budget as well as our transportation needs. We had 2 shuttles going back and forth to take guests and family safely back to their hotels. We had our own car as the bride and groom, which Ken drove personally. Ken was very friendly and sweet. I would give 6 stars if I could. Also, they should be listed not just as a limo company, but a tour company as well. When I called to book a limo for wine tasting in Temecula, I thought I would just be renting a limo and I would need to do the legwork on planning the actual tour. When I called to book, though, Ken was able to plan an itinerary for me on the spot based on what I wanted generally... and to make sure we got 2-for-1 tastings at 3 out of the 4 wineries we went to. I noticed on the Temecula website that a lot of wineries had this for the off-season, but Ken was able to get 2-for-1 at places that didn't offer it on their websites. Our driver was Kathy, and she was a peach. Totally accommodating when we were running late to meet her, totally flexible on keeping on top of our itinerary, knowledgeable about the wineries, and all around exactly what you would hope for. I was at first a little skeptical that they automatically include a 20% gratuity for the driver (having had bad experiences in general with people who know their tip is guaranteed), but Kathy deserved every penny. Also, I did my homework-- for 4 people, the limo from Viva was cheaper than the Grapeline shuttle. So basically we got the best service (seriously, I cannot think of a single thing I would change) for the lowest price in Temecula. You see why I want to give 6 stars. read more
