WOW. I would rate a zero if I could. I made an appt for a gel mani/pedi for my Sister and I yesterday (Tuesday). We arrived and was greeted very nicely. My Sister got a manicure first with the owner and I got a pedi first for some reason? We went together for a reason. The man I had was SO rude. He asked me to place my feet in the water when he didn't even lift my pants. I was struggling and he didn't help; the owner did. He also didn't know how to use the pedicure chair??? I asked if he could more pressure on my massage and said no...WOW. Okay. I was so upset I cancelled my manicure and left with bare nails and SO upset. What a shame to treat people so poor. Was turned away at my regular salon due to being completely booked. Quick Apple Maps search lead me to here. So glad I went and tried a new spot. Honestly a hidden gem! The place is super tiny, but just so adorable with the calming colors, can probably accommodate 20 people MAX. That might even push it lol. But the girl that did my nails was extremely friendly and provided an amazing gel pedicure. OH! Let's talk color choices! Look at it,.....just look at the selection, and that wasn't even all of them. Always come here and always a good job done. Vivian is the best! I mostly come for pedicures.

I've been coming here for a few months now accepting mediocre manicures and pedicures because I liked the owner, which was my first mistake. Even if you call to book an appt, it still takes several hours. Kevin does the worst pedicures and I witnessed customers bring this to his attention multiple times, but he nor Vivian seemed to care Today, I wanted to get nextgen as I always do, and I was told to pick a color. I picked my color while getting my terrible pedicure then Kevin said they didn't have a matching color. So after sorting through dozens of next-gen colors, he hands me over a hundred different regular polishes and proceeds to move on to another customer. I've tried multiple places and this isn't the norm, typically they let you in advance which next-gen options have matching gel or regular polishes. So after looking for another ten mins or more, I let him and Vivian know that I can't find a matching color for my original selection nor could I find one for any of the backup options. Neither cared to help until I just told them don't worry about my nails and just cash me out. Finally, Vivian offered to help by giving me the same nextgen options again WITHOUT telling me which had matching polishes. I told her no thanks and asked to be cashed out again. As she was cashing me out she told me that there was nothing more she could do it I help.... Umm, you could do more quality work, stop making people wait after booking appts and make picking colors less stressful than sorting through 100s of options. Update: Found a spot closer to my home that drumroll... Does a much better pedicure and lets you know the matching polishes for nextgen in advance. read more

Wonderful place! Clean, nice massage chairs. Kevin was very gentle and one of the few people who didn't make my feet twitch during a pedicure. The nail polish is a little sloppy on the edges though - for my toes it's ok. My husband enjoyed his pedicure as well. Both people working (owners?) were very polite. read more

I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this salon! I've been coming here at least every month since they first opened and will continue to do so! I am extremely picky and exact about how I get my nails done and cleanliness, and every time I come here my nails come out better than I even imagined and the salon is always EXTREMELY CLEAN and up to date. I always get at least acrylics with tips and designs, as well as a pedicure once a month to keep myself looking prim and neat. The owner who typically does my nails, does the BEST NAILS I've ever had IN MY LIFE! I always get SO MANY COMPLIMENTS wherever I go after! She is also extremely sweet, gives such great advice, and makes me feel welcomed EVERY TIME. The male employee who does my pedicure every time also gives EXCELLENT SERVICE and my toes turn out great every time and my feet become even softer each time! I went to this nail salon because of the good reviews, but the pedicure and acrylics did not hold up at all. I had a $45 GEL pedicure peel completely off after only FOUR days. Gel is supposed to last at minimum two weeks. My friend that I was with got acrylics and they came off after one week. Their work does not last, and was expensive. read more

I have debated writing this for a long time, but I have to be honest.. I stopped going here due to the carelessness Vivian portrayed. I made an appointment for me and a friend, for 2 Nexgen manicures Vivian told me to come in and she had the time to accommodate, our fingers were wrapped instantly and Vivian and Kevin started working on other people and assured us they wouldn't be long and would get to us right after, after sitting for 30 mins and other people coming in, Vivian started working on many people at a time, starting one thing moving on to the next and so on. When I asked Vivian how much longer she unwrapped my nails then re wrapped saying they needed longer, while she started another customers gel manicure that was on her lunch break who Vivian assured, she would be able to get her back to work within an hour. Vivian then turned to me and told me and my friend she's sorry but it will take her a little while, mind you this girl came in well into our time sitting there; at this point we were sitting over an hour and change. We decided enough was enough and got up to leave, after Vivian asked what we were doing 2 other ladies chimed in saying how long we were sitting there as Vivian moved between the 2 of them and leaving us to sit there. I had nothing but wonderful experiences before this but this was unforgivable and Vivian took advantage of kindness after me being loyal since the beginning.. it is simply fine to say that the time wasn't available or to turn away a customer due to lack of employees, but don't disregard others who were already being worked on to make an extra sale. read more

When my usual pedicure place couldn't keep my appointment I stumbled upon Viva Nails. Not many places are open on a Sunday and I lucked out with this one. When I called she was super nice and said to come over in 15 minutes. Kevin did my pedicure and it was great! The salon is super clean and the massage chairs are AMAZING. I will definitely be coming back and referring people here. I loved that it was quiet and relaxing. read more
