Today I came in and spent too much time going through my phone and loading and uploading and moving pictures. And in the time I was here, several of the photo employees greeted me and made sure I had everything I needed. They were so friendly, and I felt super relaxed to take my time. I watched one employee talk with a customer in such a gentle way as he was helping her understand what it meant to have a family member upload a picture rather than taking a picture of a picture. It was so kind, and it's just those little acts of kindness that the world needs right now. I could tell the couple really appreciated him. Upon picking up my pictures, unprompted the employee scanned a code that gave me half off. I really appreciated that today. Thankful for this place.

It's been my experience that, most often, Walgreens is a bit less expensive for the items I want, and they usually have them in stock. Such was the case at the Date Palm Drive location. The staff was courteous and helpful when I could not locate my items. The cost was 25% less than CVS had them listed for on their website. Here's a toast to wise shopping.

They don't hesitate to place you on a perpetual hold, and neglect to follow up after asking for your contact number. I called the previous night, and spoke to Sally, to avoid a delay since it was an out of town script. We arrived, for pickup, before lunchtime; they started lowering the shutters around 10-15 minutes before lunchtime - while people were still in line; worse, there was no acknowledgment...RUDE! I was finally told their system wasn't working and Sally committed to check with tech support after lunch, and to call me when the order was ready...5 hours ago! This pharmacy NEEDS TO DO BETTER!

It was quite an ordeal, trying to get it moved to this Rite Aid instead of my usual Rite Aid in San Diego where I live. So my mother had to go pick up my prescription for me as I can't walk... At first there was confusion and a problem with my medication being in stock. And this pharmacist was incredibly busy and a little stressed out, but still took the time to be very helpful and get my prescription filled and work with my mother so that she was not wasting her time going all the way there to get this for me. It's so nice when pharmacists are helpful and kind and not intimidating and rushed. He was incredibly nice and explained everything to her. We are very thankful.

CVS & Walgreens barely know my name & are never discreet about talking aloud about my personal info even though they claim to be stringent on HIPA confidentiality. Yeh right ... Ray is brilliant, kind & really made a positive difference in my current physical & mental health. I am absolutely appalled by CVS and pharmacist Kerry. For almost 3 years, I was charged $130 for a…read more$30 medication -- across multiple cities -- and despite prior assurances from supervisors, I have still not been refunded. Instead of addressing the overcharges, I was called to be gaslit, treated as ignorant, and lectured about medication regulations by a pharmacist who was not even a supervisor. She defended the unacceptable behavior of other CVS employees, ignored all proof of overcharges in my app, and refused to provide any resolution. This behavior is disrespectful, discriminatory, and unprofessional. CVS has wasted my time, ignored repeated complaints, and treated me as less than a customer because of my identity. I expect a full refund of every cent I was overcharged, and immediate action to ensure no other customer is treated this way. CVS: You make millions, but you cannot deny accountability for overcharging and discriminating against customers.

(Another story) The clerk was nice and found that my prescription was filled at the other CVS, but could transfer it. Yay, nice. She asked the pharmacist, who came over and within seconds was telling me, "won't fill it, go to the other." I think her words were right, she wouldn't transfer it from the other CVS. But she could..... I was prompt dismissed, as she repeated for me to go to the other CVS, and walked away. Kudos to the clerk, but I'll not go back and I'm transferring my prescriptions to a competitor that's just down the street. (And has better GoodRX prices too!)

I travel for work as a fashion designer and stay in town for pop-ups. "Passing by" a pharmacy is not wrongdoing, yet I was treated like it was. Pharmacists should support patients, not abuse power or make people feel guilty for needing care. This location failed at professionalism, privacy, and basic respect.

I was able to find makeup brands o can't find at smaller Walmarts, food for our trip and everything we needed. They have a good solid wine selection. We bought 6 bottles. More actual full service cashiers would be a huge improvement over self checkout.
